We were up there the week before this video was shot. Had some luck in the large bay north of Howe Island but couldn’t really get on them elsewhere. Gonna try some new techniques from this video if this virus lets us fish next month. Any other locations to target out of ganonoque?
What about Morrisburg or Long Sault? Is there decent pike fishing there in the Canadian side? Just looking for a fun day of easy fishing. Quality isn't a priority but quantity would be nice!

best action is bassed on your baits and yes thats a great spot

any nice weed beds you can find from last year close to deep water is better
What do you specifically look for when targeting pike? And do you use these same techniques in the summer?
we look for shallow old weed growth close to deep water but warmer. no in summer i would move out deeper.

its also good in that area. Look for old weed beds and drop offs leading into bays

they are in the area but not in season when I fish there.
Do you know any walleye spots close to ganonoque
I mostly fish quinte for walleye as its the best for big ones
What was the surface water temp?
54-57 in most areas we fished
where is a good place to fish in late september early october
lots great weed lines points and shoals that will all hold big fish
