Trolling the Saint Lawrence River - Thousand Islands for Northern Pike! (Bonus Bass!!!)

Fishing the Saint Lawrence River in the 1,000 Islands NY for Northern Pike. Trolling stick baits/jerk baits and casting Michigan Stinger spoons. We catch a few nice ones but overall the bite was unfortunately not as hot as we were hoping for. We camped at Wellesley Island State Park and trolled the surrounding waters - Eel Bay, etc.

Your video starts exactly where I spread my father's ashes. I had many happy memories fishing Eel Bay with my Dad as a child and with my own family when I grew up. I get there about once a year now and always visit the Gull Islands to have a beer with Dad and do some fishing with my son and friends. Your video definitely brought back fond memories! God Bless

Looks fun with the family. Get a rubber net....much easier to get the hooks out and much better for the fish.

Thanks, we did soon after this. All we use now are rubber nets if we use anything with treble hooks. Wish we figured that one out sooner. Ha. Thanks for watching! 😀

Well we have trolled several areas but this was all around wellesly island and near the Canadian line
