    Nice advance! keep on practicing!
I'm learning the last part of the Laoureux Violon book 1, and starting the 2° book of Suzuki.
I'm sure that day by day we will improve on this journey of playing violin, as they say, the practice make the master :D

Thank you! I still dislike how I sound. Haha! I am super excited about what I am able to play. Oh well, I promised myself to try it for about 5 years. Only then I cn quit. I have an idea I will not quit hahaha! Maybe also start piano lessons in 3,5 years...
What do you think about Laoureux Violon book and Suzuki?

@@SonjaKreukniet Suzuki's book 1 it's really good to play some easy songs at first, but the laoureux it's more "tecnical". I mean, the laoureux's book has a lot more of technical practices and i thinks its better to improve the things like bow movements, scales, the fingers position, notes intervals...that kind of things. It has so hard exercises but if you do them one by one, you will improve for sure.
I has a little advantage when i start to learn violin because i already play guitar for quite some time (10 years) so i got familiar with the finger movements (but the violin it's more difficult, of course). I will try to upload a video soon with one of my last practices probably :)

@@bgkaufhold I would guess guitar also has its own learning curve? I always think it is so weird to put one instrument over another as for difficulties.
Yes do upload some practice video!
I find that my book has many different etudes as well... Even the little songs or pieces are part of a learning curve.. Well, most.

@@SonjaKreukniet Yes, for a begginer the guitar could be a little hard at the start too, but in my experience, violin is even harder. There's so many other variables and factors to keep in mind when playing. The bow control is the thing that i got more complicated when practicing. I will upload a practice video today on my channel because my teacher ask me to do it, because i can't see her because the quarantine

Indeed I agree with the other comments. This is finally a violin progress I can identify with as an adult beginner with zero music experience. I started at 34 years too and I'm now on my fourth year. This is a very dedicated progress you are showing here. Well done and keep making beautiful music!

Hey! Cool! Thanks for the comment! Yeah! No vibrato and 3rd position in under a few months, hahaha! ;) I also have a 2 years progress video.. if you are interested!
I have been pretty dedicated, I am at it each day. Not for hours, probably 30min-1h a day... I like it this way. It is fine with me...
      Cheers!

Just watched all your videos! I literally ordered my first violin a few hours ago after several years of wanting to play and several weeks of going back and forth on if I’m ready or not. Thanks for sharing your progress video, I just subscribed. Can’t wait to see year two.

Very nice progress! I’m thinking about learning the violin myself. Did you have a teacher? How many hours per week did you practice?

      Cool! Thanks for your comment!
I do have a teacher and I practice/play for about an hour a day on average.
What got you interested in the violin? What is still keeping you from it?
