Hi 👋🏼 can I just make one suggestion? The bows in your case have not been loosened enough. They are too tight. If you keep them that tightly strung the hair will snap off eventually. You shouldn’t be having the hair that tightly. And I also saw another video where your bow was tightened until the wood and hair are tightened till they’re straight. You shouldn’t tighten it until both sides a straight. Your bow will break if you continue to use it that way. The bow should only be tightened enough so that your index finger can fit through (and maybe just a little bit tighter than that) 😳 okay 👍🏼

Hi Sonja, thanks for posting videos! Can I ask you two things, if you have a minute? What tuner did you pick and are you happy with it? And do you also have a metronome in your practice area, but just not in your case? Thanks again! Richard
Hey Richard, Ofcourse I have a minute! I have the D'Addario micro violin tuner. I like it. I can put it on the violin and just leave it there if needed. It also has a metronome function. But I never use it! I use an app on my phone as a metronome. It is called SoundCorset. I always have my phone on me.. So I also have a metronome with me. I hope this helps!
