How to make my Mason Jar Flower Arrangement

- I'm going to decorate my friends wedding with lot's of flowers and today I practice by doing my very first mason jar flower arrangement. I use a mix of flowers from my garden.

Absolutey gorgeous! I really love how you "just do" things. It is often that we people are afraid to try things that normally require trade school. It doesn't hurt to try and we may well be able to create something similar that serves the intented purpose. Don't take me wrong, I absolutely value and appreciate experts! I just like how you encourage people to try and find the happiness in being able to create or grow something both beautiful and useful. That was an absolutely beautiful arrangement for wedding. I would personally prefer that homegrown and -made colourful piece of decoration over say red imported roses!

Sara, this is a beautiful arrangement. I appreciate your eye for color. I don't have a natural gift for combining colors; it's my goal to work on mixing colors in my bouquets this summer, rather than sticking to a monochromatic theme. Please keep the videos about your flowers coming - both about growing your cottage garden and arranging the bounty!

I watch you all the time and I’m amazed by your beautiful blooms and harvest. This flower arrangement is simply beautiful… The only thing I could think to add would be be some twigs? Just an idea… But beautiful just as it is!

The flowers are beautiful but I would not use the brown wax paper. Take a piece of lace and glue it to the jar and then wrap it with the twine. I used lace that was the colors of my daughter's bridesmaids.

You did a beautiful job on this arrangement! It turned out very pretty. The mason jar bouquets I am familiar with here in the states usually show the jar and they seem to have a lot fewer flowers. But that’s probably not what you’re going for. In any case, Erika is lucky to have you for a friend and I’m sure she will love your arrangements! You have a gift.

That is so beautiful, you have inspired me to try this with an old black mustard jar, good way to use up some shorter stems too. I love a touch of white in my flowers, it seems to make everything else sing !

Beautiful flowers. I've been harvesting seed to use next yr. Its so good to see you again. We haven't heard from you in a while but like us summer is probably your busiest time growing all those veggies. I'm tired and ready for fall. Gardening is exhausting some times and ours isn't even that big. I still have so much to learn though then it will be easier.
