9:16 After watching the first season around 2014 and waiting many years for season 2 and 3 to come, I was mind blown in 2019 when they finally revealed, that the actual name and meaning of the show is not "Attack on Titan" but literally "The Attack Titan" aka "Shingeki no Kyojin" which is the original japanese title. So right from the start the title indicated an important relevance about Erens Titan and its former hosts.
No solo significa "titan atacante" o "titan de ataque".... sabemos los kanji tienen varias formas de interpretarse y por lo tanto tienen varios significados... además de "titan de ataque" también puede interpretarse como "titan de vance" o "el titan que avanza"... y esto justamente es lo que Eren Kruger describe como algo característico de su titán.
No diré nada más pero a partir de ahora ésta interpretación de "shingeki No Kyojin" tomará mucha más relevancia con los acontecimientos de la temporada final.
Attack-on Titan
Isayama thought Attack on Titan fit better for Western audiences, because it would make them believe the show was solely about humanity against titans, and hid the foreshadowing of that the title "Shingeki no Kyojin" was made because it's a story about Eren and the Attack Titan powers.
It's even "worse" than that. Isayama himself decided the english title name to be "attack on titans" and not "the attack titan".
In french, the name is "attack of the titans".
You know what ?
All of them are right. 😂

And it's also the story of the titan who attacks and go forward. 😂

The name "The Attack Titan" is a reference to the title of the show. But it's even more obvious in Japanese as IT IS the title of the show: "Shingeki no Kyojin" 9:17

I hate how the reveal of the name of eren's titan is the name of the show got lost in translation 😅
The English title was done on purpose for mainly 2 reasons: no direct translation & major spoiler 🤓
English translator: how would I know the plot goes this far bro 😂
Yeah it's always gonna bug me that the English title doesn't perfectly line up for the title drop.
If the series was originally translated as "Attack Titan" or "Attacking Titan" it would've worked just fine. It's equally as ambiguous/misleading as the original Japanese title. I also like the sound of "Advance Titan" or "Advancing Titan" as well.

Zeke was actually referred to by his name by the cart titan in episode 15 ("War chief Zeke"), but I can understand how you missed it.

I'm Japanese. As people say, "shingeki(進撃)" means "attack" or "attacking" and "kyojin(巨人)" means "titan". "no(の)" basically means preposition "of". So in Japanese "shingeki no kyojin" doesn't mean "Attack on titan" but is interpreted in two ways; titans attacking human (like in season 1) and the name of titan "Attack titan" just like yoroi(armor) no kyoji is armored titan. The title worked as foreshadowing also for japanese audience. At the beginning of the show most people believed the title refers to the titans attacking human in the walls .

This end scene is one of the top WTF moments, like with the Reiner reveal scene from season 2.
La frase que Eren Kruger "recuerda" y le dice a Grisha sobre salvar a Armin y Mikasa es la misma que Grisha le dice a Eren antes de inyectarle el suero para que se transforme y lo devore.
Ésto lo vemos a modo de flashback en el final del capítulo 9 cuando les disparan el cañonazo... Eren tiene un dolor de cabeza y recuerda las palabras de su padre e instantáneamente muerde su mano, se transforma parcialmente y detiene el proyectil.

I hope you should know by know that Founder Ymir and Ymir (the girl that we knew since the beginning) is 2 different person. They are not the same person. Just had the same name. Our Ymir is homeless girl that were given are new name as Ymir. Her real name is unknown. Founder Ymir is the original Ymir that was born 2,000 years ago, long before our Ymir. Our Ymir just born 60+ years ago. Nine Main Titans did not prolong their user age, only shorten it into 13 years only. Only Pure Titan had long age, the can survive many years.
She confused every era too. She believed that Ymir Fritz was married to king Karl and built the walls... She is completely lost on the global situation. It will be difficult for her to understand the context to why Marley hate Eldians, if she can't even understand that Ymir had nothing to do with the walls.

Personally, I feel like, in part, this show is like watching the sixth sense for the first time and having that shocking moment of realization elevated to the max, except in AOT this happens all the time. 😂
