- When Hilary Kinnear and Darrell MacLeod adopted Abbie from China they knew that their daughter required the help of IWK specialists to fix her cleft lip and palate. She has since undergone four surgeries in five years and requires ongoing follow up care. Let's meet this energetic little girl who is sure to bring a smile to everyone who knows her.

This little girl has my namesake! I’m hoping to adopt from China too someday when I’m finally old enough! Cleft lip and palate seems like a manageable need even if the operations to repair them seem expensive!
