With the 225 you can tune with Nizpro to 328HP; I’ve had three boats with the tunes and best decision ever; of course the top speed but the throttle response, midrange and lower cruising speed the fuel savings paid for itself. Thanks for all of your videos you post great content.

@adiellopez8779 That's a great suggestion, captain. But I have 5 years extended warranty.I don't want to lose that maybe after the warranty.Inspires thank you for the awesome suggestion 👍

I have the 200 vmax on my tritón still under warranty; and a 150 also under warranty both with tunes. The good thing is that the tune can be removed for service or warranty repairs but the performance for me far outweighed the risk and luckily I have had no issues. Went from 38 to 52 on the tritóon and from 48 to 62 on the sportsman 207 masters. Can’t tell you enough how happy I am with it. Pero saludos y suerte con todo hermano

Where did you get the tune? I have a 300 Yamaha, and have 4 more years of warranty. I have had Yamaha on all my boats, ran charters on weekends, never had 1 issue that needed warranty.

Modern dealers routinely utilize sophisticated diagnostics tools and ECU scanning to troubleshoot issues during service visits. These scans detect and log any ECU modifications. Even if tuning is unrelated to the repair needed, identifying previous engine tuning provides a basis for voiding the entire vehicle warranty.

Just went to 4 blades and it helped alot in hole shots and control/response in rough water. Only lost 3 mph on top end but economy went up at cruising speed because it took less effort to move the boat. Also good job going bigger with the motor. @@OutOnTheReef Here's the deal. Your boat will handle better in the ocean with a 4 blade prop. Your boat will stay on plane at a lower speed when the ocean gets rough with a 4 blade prop. You can slow down and not get beat up and still remain on plane when it is rough offshore. The 3 blade prop is typically a few mph faster at wide open throttle and is more fuel efficient. It all depends on what you want, Cap'n. Your rig is getting more awesome every passing day. Congrats on your latest upgrade. We will all get to enjoy it with you. In my opinion the Mercury Rev 4 prop is the top of the line in performance. It has a much better grip which will allow you to run your engine mounted higher on the transom which will increase your fuel economy. And...it is faster than other 4 blades. Had to save the best for last.

4 blade prop should be good for getting whole shot but I don't think it's gonna be a great option for running all the time. But I may be wrong.

@OutOnTheReef try it and compare to your 3 blade rpm, mpg, cruise speed ,top end etc...

If you put the same pitch 4 blade prop you will loose a lot of top end and cruising speed. Alot of people just don’t understand how to properly prop a boat. Example a 21 pitch 3 should be replaced by a 23 pitch 4 blade.

I think you have that backwards, 4 blade needs to go down in pitch.

You could have tracked your speed with GPS Cap

@user-kl4pj4cr2g The speed on the GPS.I think is not right.Because it doesn't give me true speed. And I want to order a speedometer sensor and I should get here soon and I will install it captain

10L at 2000rpm is little bit too high. Lowest consumption should be around 5100 rpm max fully loaded. Can you try that P? Bow is high at plane, might be anchor, chain, winch and trolling motor? Please stay more on testing..
