@@steevidrums agreed! I find that Gewa has some natural sounds and a few more processed sounds as well (somewhat similar to Roland). Efnote really goes heavy into the drier and natural sounds.
Knowledge is definitely rewarding in this case I would have too say EFNOTE is more the affordable option for my taste and in my opinion nicer looking too thanks.🤗👋
Hi, the diabolo limited edition is "only" another finish option of the regular diabolo series, so there's no particular technical details to demo, which means I'm probably not going to do any more demos besides the ones with my own ltd. Grey Slate kit unfortunately: ua-cam.com/video/4YimrssRQjo/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/bWRvrgJVFSo/v-deo.html Kind regards!
Hi Mr. drumtecTV! Thanks for another fabulous video! just one question: if you had to choose either this kit or Roland TD-17KVX2 for your son, what would you choose?
Thank you so much! :) My name is Ralf Schumacher btw, and you can also find my own channel digitaldrumming over here if you like: www.youtube.com/@digitaldrumming I'd probably go for the Roland, as it is much easier to set up & handle. You can also get any customized kit configuration from drum-tec! Feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance and/or an individual quote on any kit including international shipping. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Hi Ralph, it´s a pleasure! Thanks for your quick response! Nice playing and videos, I will definetely check your channel! Regarding Sound and Sensitivity would you also choose Roland? Cheers
@@licenciadoensentidocomun70 Roland Triggering/playability is by far the best available, yet I agree that the Gewa has some nice/more realistic sounds. Yet, when it's about learning/practicing I guess I'd rather go for the Roland. Also the Roland pads/cymbals are more silent than the Gewas. Kind regards & thank you for the positive feedback!
@@tnypxl actually no. GEWA and DW had a partnership on the early stage of this project. DW was mainly involved with hardware (shells, racks, stands). All technology - modules, triggers, cymbals etc was and is developed and manufactured by GEWA music in Germany. Our history actually goes back till 1925 ;) so a little lorded than Roland and DW, obviously not with e drums 😂
In my opinion this is the best sounding kit Ive heard
Great demo as always Ralf Ole Chap. Nice Tic Toc too 🙂
haha, man wait for it! I just finished shooting/editing a demo video series for Sonor, which is packed full of fun watches...! 😀
Between this and the EFNOTE modules, this is great stuff as an alternative to Roland. Which do you like if Roland was not an option? Gewa or EFNOTE?
Efnote by far in my case.
I think it depends on what sounds you’re looking for
@@Ben-ic1ve True, they both have very distinct characteristics. However both their jazz and bop kits are comparable.

Does this GEWA module work with your Zeitgeist shells and cymbals? Great playing and thanks!
Hi there! Yes it does! :)
Could you do a video on the drum tec Diabolo Limited Edition Aqua Oyster drum set with a Roland module and atv cymbals? 👍😁

@@drumtecTV Thanks again Ralph, all the best!!
Sounds incredible. Finally some competition to Roland! (hope they have sorted out the previous issues, and keep updating this) :)
Go GEWA! :)
Roland just Acquired DW which owns this brand of E-Drums. So... GO ROLAND!
Actually... I'm wrong. I guess DW and Gewa were just a partnership that ended when Roland acquired DW. My mistake.

@@GEWADigitalDrums Yeah, I had no idea. Thanks for the clarification. I did maybe 90 seconds of googling when I corrected myself.
