Yes, loved getting the magazine this time - thanks so much for telling me of the new courier option. I did get the Mode one as well and quite like it. Looking forward to your review next week.
Another lovely episode. Your shawl is so nice. I also dont like deadlines. I did too many gift knits at Chrisrmas and didnt enjoy the process. Nice to see your sewing projects. Im hopeing to visit the Wesrwood exhibition as I live in Glasgow. Thanks Anne
So glad to see you back! I was checking back for your progress. I too had a sweater I wanted to finish for New Years Eve. I was too much of a perfectionist and frogged a portion that really wasn't neccesary. When I picked up where I thought I was in the chart after many hours and 5 " of progress, I realized my error. So I had to frog a second time, all the way back. I finally completed it in time for Valentines Day. Goals are fine but needing to be flexible and going with process. Appreciate the journey and lessons along the way. So happy to see you are well and crafting. Looking forward to your Rowan review.
Hi Suzanne! You are to be commended for persevering….it is easy to get disgruntled and just put a projected aside….. I have to admit that I am guilty for putting off for all sorts of reasons. I want to talk about this problem I have in a future chat :) This could be interesting yes? Rowan Magazine 73 next! :) It’s a good one !
Great to hear from you again Anne. All your projects look stunning. Very impressive and I love hearing about your sewing projects too. I sew more than knit right now and like you, am really enjoying it. I'm into garments more than quilts, but it's always interesting to hear about other people's projects, whatever they are. And your kidsilk shawl is absolutely gorgeous.Worth all the effort you've put into it I'd say! Good wishes Linda
Hi Linda! Thank you!!! I’ve joined the Closet Core patterns “Closet Crew” club - a monthly exclusive pattern (a little easier than their normal patterns) to get you sewing….with a chat group…..I’m hoping it gets me back into garment sewing. Two months in and I haven’t start yet but I am hopeful :) So glad to hear from you ! Do you share your makes on Instagram? If so….where can I find you Linda? Take care, Anne
@@AnneFeatonby The Closet Core looks a great site for patterns etc! I'm in the UK so not really suitable, and I'm not on social media so no postings sorry! Please continue to mix your sewing in with your knitting on the vlog, as I'm sure a lot of knitters are also sewers too and share a mutual interest. At the moment trousers are my sewing bete noir, which I'm determined to crack! 😀
Having said that..The foldline site in the UK sells a selection of Closet Core patterns and I just bought the Sienna Makers Jacket pattern which I love and am on list for the Mitchell Trousers when they come back in stock! Thanks for the direction!!
Please do Christine! Kidsilk haze makes a spectacular shawl……either knit singly, or held double……and the shade range can’t be beat and to be honest, a scrappy leftover shawl would be fabulous also…..let me know what you decide! Thank you for watching! Anne
Hi Anne, wonderful to see you again. I ordered the Rowan sock yarn and love it. Knitted a pair of shortie socks in the fall colors and had enough to make myself fingerless gloves. Thank you sharing your sock journey. I attended VKLNYC23 and took a photo with the Rowan kidsilk haze wall. The Earth Stripe Wrap is on my to do list just adore this yarn. Beautiful job on the catch all caddy bag.
Jeannie! VKLNY is on my bucket list!!! WOW, that wall was amazing! I wonder what they did with all that yarn LOL!!! DO the Earth Stripe Wrap - it is such a great knit. A friend did it and told me how to finish the ends :) You just sort them out, tidy them up, pull then down and roll the edge over and sew it down. It worked brilliantly! So don’t let the idea of weaving in the ends deter you!
Just love your W. Scarf. I really enjoy your program. See you next time.
Char ❤
Thank you Char for watching! I’m looking at Magazine 73 right now - some lovely stuff if you are a summer knitter :)
I have already put my order in for Mag 73. happy knitting see you soon
I am green with envy at your Wonderland Shawl. You are so accomplished! Glad you persisted.
Thank you!
So nice to see that plaid wrap done…I have admired it. Deadlines …hate them. I am trying to restrict having too many wips! Ha! Thanks for sharing
Hi Susan, NO MORE DEADLINES!!! LOL
Beautiful knitting, Anne 🧶🧶
Thank you Barbara!

Wonderland looks great Anne! When I took Chloe's class at the last Connect session she had us using the pattern for it to teach us.
Hi Gail! Yes, I saw that her class was a cushion….it’s a great technique! It is such a luxurious looking scarf/shawl!

Your wonderland shawl is beautiful. Maybe I will start with one of the simpler patterns. Looking forward to your Rowen review.
