Depends how heavy the draw on your bow is, i think mine was around 35 pounds and we could get arrows wedged in from 50-60 meters away, i don't have the space to try from further away but i suspect it would work at 80-100 if you're a good enough shot. and you can stand a only a couple meters away and it will still stop them, but we found after a few years of use that the stuff inside has moved around and as a result there are 'hollow' areas inside where the arrow would go through and only stopped at the fletching.

Why does he use the duct tape like that? Don't you just stick the end on the box then unroll it across?
dude.. get your bow set up to fit you and you will a ton better. your bows draw length is way to long.
