I can't thank you enough for this! Camped the mounds location for maybe a couple of hours...gathered a ton of steel in the process and eventually got my bladesmith and dragged him all the way back to the desert :) On the other plus side, it only involves killing maybe 8 mobs to respawn, so really really great location for a farm. Thank you once again!
Been meaning to play Conan for years, the thrall taking is a winner for me. Bought it a few days ago and your thrall videos have helped me greatly. Top class mate.
Thanks for this guide. In a game where fast travel is only 1-way and T4 thralls are desperately needed (i.e. for crafting oil!) it is really a major atrocity that T4 thralls spawn only with a certain chance. They should have fixed locations and always be there. Funcom cannot expect the players to run around the whole map like idiots and wait for a T4 maybe to spawn. In a game that is already extremely time consuming. But thanks to your guide I finally found a T4 bladesmith!!! THANKS
Really happy to hear that the guide was helpful and you got lucky! It's indeed a quite daunting task to get the right T4 Thralls - and also challenging to bring them home safely!
It can be tough to get the right one due to their rarity - hopefully you'll be more lucky when looking at some of these more dedicated spots! Fingers crossed!
Thanks for the great explanation. Went up the mounds with a clan mate, scored one on the second time round the mounds. Finished up with and bunch of other stuff and a Dalli just to round off the trip. Just camp the mounds, and keep going round and round!
That's great to hear, congratz on your finds! The Mounds are definitely a good location, and having a friend with you helps a lot. Good luck on your hunt!
Thanks to you, I got the blacksmith Vulpeles. Without your video, I would never have found him. Thank you very much for your great video and kind explanation.
Try LV4 surges (i prefer north or north-east, they gave me the most LV4 crafters), there is a good chance to get 2 or 3 LV4 crafters every surge. Sooner or later a bladesmith will drop.
There is a Shieldwright that can as well be found at the Mounds of the Dead, but that should be a different location from the one shown for the Bladesmith.
Might look into some more simplified versions for Siptah once we covered some more of AoW. It's a lot of work to do these, and Siptah has a smaller playerbase (we get few views in comparison), hence why we didn't prioritize this. But it's on our mind! PS: You don't suck, Siptah has its own challenges!
If you want a female T4 bladesmith, unfortunately, as of the Age of War all of the Phalia the Blacksmith spawn points have been removed from the exiled lands.
It's the Age of War, the camp has been removed and this will likely be where the Stygian army will make up camp for PvE Sieges. Probably we'll see the area further transform over the next chapters. It remains to be seen if we get the camo back after AoW...
Yes, I doubt they added another reliable spot for her. However, what we show in this video are only spots that are the best, as none or almost no other named spawn on the same spot. There are a few other locations where you can look for her - but she shares these with many other professions and all Tiers - so chances are a lot smaller: Bonepicker Camp, Sharptooth Passage, N'batu's Pack, Claw Outcrop and Hunter's View.
Good Video, but no longer accurate at least as far as the mounds are concerned. I spent 3 hours there last night and tier 4 named sorcerers spawned in the locations you map, as well as a tier 4 fighter. Never a blacksmith of any type. Im back to the hunt
@@Pixelcave loving your videos! Helping a lot as I just started playing a week ago, however I agree. I think the mounds are out for t4 bladesmith. Farmed it for 9hrs (got a lot of mats!) but I only spawned Dalinsia Snowhunter (HAPPY) and t4 sorcerers, berserkers, and bearers. Will try my luck in the other spots you mentioned. I do appreciate your videos!
@@ItsNightOwl24 Thanks! Well, that's really strange - sorry, but we simply didn't have the time yet to look into it, too much "new" stuff going on. Will definitely have a look into it on the current live and the beta build and do some spot checks. Considering the AoS is over, more Sorcerers make zero sense, why would they do that... sigh. Wonder what's going on.
All T4 named NPCs are quite rare to find. This guide shows you the best locations with the highest chances to find them. You just need to check back often.
There are 3 specialized Blacksmiths: Bladesmith, Edgesmith and Tempersmith. We explain what their speciality is in the beginning of each video. I guess it's down to you to decide which one you want (or maybe you want all 3). You can then go for any of the Blacksmiths we show in the videos, they all share the same speciality (e.g. all Bladesmiths are the same), the name doesn't make any difference - just find one that's conveniently located for you.
Any T4 Crafter of a specific type should be equally good and give the same bonusses. Since they changed the Named Crafter system a while back, they don't have any unique recipes or anything anymore, so any Bladesmith, Shieldwright, etc. is the same good at what they do. You just need to be lucky to find one, but you already have that covered - now good luck with your named armorer! PS: Shieldwrights are best for armor value, Temperwrights are best for durability, and Scoutwrights are best for armor weight reduction.
That''s unfortunate, but yeah, finding the right one can take time. Your best bet are the 2 spawn locations we show at the Mounds of the Dead. If a Named T4 Blacksmith spawns there, it will always be a Bladesmith, not any of the other Specializations. Go for it!
Bladesmiths, Edgesmiths or Tempersmiths are all Blacksmiths, just the T4 specialization of them. T1-T3 are always regular Blacksmiths and you can find them in the same locations and many, many more across the Exiled Lands.
I can't thank you enough for this! That's what we want to hear, a smooth "recruitment" process of Thralls! But seriously, great to hear it worked so well for you!
Been meaning to play Conan for years, the thrall taking is a winner for me. Bought it a few days ago and your thrall videos have helped me greatly. Top class mate.
Oh, that's great to hear, thank you! Hope you're having a great time in Conan, there's a lot to explore!

@@Pixelcave For that purpose, I crafted 83 leather bindings 🙂
@Malti Moto That's dedication right there! 😀
didn't find a black smith but got myself a nice dalinsia snowhunter😂 great vid will definitely keep checking that spot for bladesmith
Always good to have a Dalinsia - I'm sure you'll get that Bladesmith as well soon, good luck! 🍀
I got 2 t1 blacksmiths when I went to mounds. Died 3 times because everyone has starmetal weapons lol and I have a greedy build lol I am stubborn
Been grinding mounds of the dead for 3 days now with no luck, might try my luck with these other spots thanks for the video

Gotta catch 'em all! 😆

So well done this. I'm on my way to check them out. Thank you for the work ♥

Excellent video, Thank You !
Glad you find it helpful - thank you!
Yeah! i got one! In the jungle. Not a dedicated blacksmith spawn, but my base is nearby and I farm thralls once a day and sometimes luck out.
Congratz! Those are usually the best finds, the ones where you simply find them by chance without searching specifically - nice one!
That's some hot fiber action right there
R.I.P. Ruins of Al-Merayah.
Sadly, yes. Who knows if they will return after the Age of War.

Thank you! 😍
so great. thanks.

great video!
Thanks!
great video , could you make one for the isle of siptah , been hunting for a bladesmith on siptah for weeks
Thanks! Currently our focus is the Exiled Lands, so should we consider doing Siptah, that would be later down the line. But we'll keep it in mind.

did they change the spawn at mounds of the dead? i havnt got a bladesmith yet but ive gotten a t4 sheildmaster

Been raiding the first dual spot for quite some time but only found a tier 4 bearer 😂
Do Legendary Repair kits even still exist? Wiki does not seem updated on this. It seems repairing legendaries was completely patched out correct?
Same video but about Shieldwrihght location and you will be a legend!!💪
Can't promise anything, but it's one we would like to do, just need a bit more time. 🙂
Very nice. Thanks.
Thank you!
Need more tier 4 specialized workbench thralls locations

Dunno if my game is bugged or if it's Age of War, but the camp at H7 does not exist. there is a plateau there instead.

Cant find any bladesmith in the most popular spots any more since AoW4 new purge patch,,,
bummer phalia only spawns in the den i take it now? since the new raid is on that place

they need to remove ememy physical hit boxes against hordes of enemys
