Really looking forward to going to Florida for the first time later this year! Me and my girlfriend have been watching all your vlogs to get us even more excited! 💞
Enjoy pal! It’s the best place in the world, what we do is stay close by then go the the park till about 1pm go home, get showed n changed then go back about 5pm too see the night stuff Enjoy
It’s nice to see essentially a new Disney park for the channel. I think I still prefer typhoon lagoon but it’s nice to see Disney tried something different, a ski resort water park is such an unusual theme but it’s such a great idea
Looks like a great day. I think you and Charlotte should do a meet and greet so people can meet you both talk about tpw and sa and how they have evolved over the years photos etc: I think it would be a good opportunity.
Blizzard beach is laid back experience and has more than enough to keep the little ones happy . It is a perfect first water park for the whole family. It is great for the older crowd too. Typhoon Lagoon is a Tropical Paradise aimed more for those in the middle. I wonder if both parks will be open in 2025 since they are giving a water park ticket away with initial night at your resort. If both were open, it would make sense to transfer resorts during your stay and go to both for free.
Hi Shawn and Charlotte looks like a great water park. Never seen this park before. Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should try one of the challenges that Disney has been doing for ages. The drinking around the world challenge, the Mountain challenge, the Beverly challenge, the hotdog or pizza or popcorn challenge, you know stuff that is fun but doesn’t test you too hard. I like the mountain challenge as you ride every mountain type ride in Disney all in a day, unfortunately you can’t it done anymore as splash mountain is being converted. The drinking around the world is kinda fun though as you get an alcoholic drink and a food item from every pavilion and do that the entire way through.
Never looked at Summit Plummet like that before! Great observation. Makes you appreciate the theming even more. Looking forward to seeing more vlogs from the future Mr. and Mrs. Sanbrooke! 😊❄️🎢🏖️
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park at Walt Disney World in Florida, well done to Charlotte on the water slide at the park. keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte. 😀😎👍👍
Great vid as always guys. Hope you enjoyed your Orlando trip! Was great running into you at Capt. Cooks last night. Thank you for talking parks and coasters with us for a bit, it really put an exclamation point on the end of our trip. Hope you all enjoyed some Uh-Oas at the Grog Grotto and have a safe flight home! We'll keep an eye out for you at Cedar Point when TT2 opens! - Marshall
That's a great water park by the looks of it. Another great vlog Shawn and Charlotte. Got me in the mood now to visit festival park not quite the same as Florida though 😂 Thanks for braving the cold to produce this great vlog for all of us.
Being a wheelchair user since my accident 49 years ago waterparks aren’t a practical park to visit, which is a shame, because prior to it I would have loved the slides and lazy river. This park was beautifully themed and enjoyed on such a sunny day. If not the warmest when out of the water. Great areas for the children, which our grandchildren would have loved. Then an ice cream as a reward at the end of the day. Enjoyable watch as usual.
Couple of useful things for the kids there. I.e. they usually sell kids meals that come with a bucket and spade for them to play in the sand. Plus.. these life vests they provide now days are helpful. They weren't there back when first visited in 2003.
I guess this theming would be interesting to people who don’t live with snow four months of the year, but when I holiday in winter I’d rather have a completely tropical vibe.
So glad you were able to do a vlog from Blizzard Beach! I've always thought it had the better slides, but coming from the northeast, I prefer the tropical theming of typhoon lagoon. With that said, what I wouldn't do to have a time machine, and visit my 10 year old self with my dad and sister at river country ❤.
Great to see blizzard beach - I have mostly went for Halloween to Orlando and always get typhoon lagoon instead- did visit blizzard beach once when went in may time it is a fun park
B'B' is my preference out of the two Disney Waterparks. Couple of reasons. I.e. mini golf is next door and BB allow you to take the inflatable tube rings into the wavy main pool. Plus...the main sit on inflatable tube slides are extremely long.....worth the long climb up the stairs. P.s..these ones are not fed by the chair lift, which is handy for the other main slides.
Me and my partner was there a couple weeks ago it was 18 degrees and we had whole park to ourselves it was amazing literally only people in lazy liver and wave pool plus we were only people people ever waiting for the ski list. I found that the wave machine pool is heated more so than the lazy river which is colder water but both fine.
Absolutely love blizzard beach, much prefer it to typhoon lagoon! I might be showing my age but I remember river country fondly! Might have been the oldest, smallest and least filled park but lived that whole backwood creek vibe!
From what I remember when I visited Blizzard Beach in 2018 they did have music playing all around the lazy river as I remember thinking it was bizarre floating around listening to ‘let it snow’ 😂 attraction wise I think I prefer Typhoon Lagoon but my favourite water park in Orlando is Volcano Bay! I loved Aquatica in 2017 but when I visited last year I so disappointed! It looked so run down, half the slides & attractions were closed, it was awful! Won’t be returning there any time in the near future which is a shame, they really need to up their game especially with volcano bay & the Disney water parks so close by.
I loved Blizzard Beach. They could do with expanding the Disney character theming further though. If you didnt go to the kids area you wouldnt know its a Disney park
The high long body drop slide has a digital number on a small screen at the bottom, it gives you the speed readout that you reached, should be about 38-44mph.....but that's assuming it is working on the day.
I believe Blizzard is my preference over Typhoon. I just wish tbey ran them both at the same time so I could do both in the same day. Plus it would thin the crowds in the summer. My fav is Volcano Bay, BTW.
Tried to go to Aquatica twice back in November but they closed the Waterpark due to it being too chilly. It was 20-22c full sun on those days. Naturally i complained to Seaworld and they gave me a All Day eating pass for Seaworld.
The thing is that I actually liked river country when it was around. It had a single big slide but it had the rare rope swing that reminded people of a swimming hole during summer. It was shut down due to a brain eating amoeba infecting someone. That and Disney was transitioning to blizzard beach and Typhoon lagoon. Honestly I want it back in some form as it is a good water park just unforeseen circumstances ended the park. The old river country was demolished for that DVC bayou hotel which actually stopped construction. Not sure what that area will be in the future as Disney gave up on the project thanks to the pandemic. The big issue is the construction walls near the tri circle D ranch as they will not come down.
I went here for a few hours and enjoyed it. I did the lazy river, wave pool, and one slide. It was a raft one that sat 4 people. I will tell you the name if it comes up in the video
completely off topic but i had a dream last night that alton towers re opened toyland tours, however when i came on it the boats were like bed mattresses and then they were playing star wars music throughout the ride for some reason, and then when i got off it i said it wasnt good at all. then i watched you make a video about it and you said it was good and I was very confused
Great video as always. Can i ask what equipment do use use for your gopro on the lazy river/slides as i am visiting later this year and cant seem to get a clear answer on if i can use my floaty or not (if it has to be official gopro)? Many thanks
I know this is a slightly odd question it may even answer itself, Which is faster-wooden rollercoasters or modern day rollercoasters??I ask because I saw footage the other of a guy on a wooden rollercoaster and it seems very fast to me.Love to Charlotte xxxx
Do you know in advance which Disney water park will be open? Or is it just staggered randomly? Going in October and planning our itenary but we would like to do blizzard and not typhoon so would be helpful to know which ones open! Love the videos guys! Bumped into you at vampire in chessington around 6 years ago and since then I have progressed in my career, got engaged to my beautiful fiancé, moved out, got 2 pets and are now expecting our daughter! All whilst watching your videos every week.
Went to blizzard beach. Didn't ride summit plummit or slush gusher. Complained how cold it was 60 times. Shawn how are you going to get ill from going on a water slide that lasts 5 seconds. Jesus do us all a favor and don't bother with water parks anymore. Total train wreck of a vlog. 😅
Thanks for your feedback. There’s no train to ride but we did experience the ski lift 😉 Seriously though It was way to cold for us, but we enjoyed seeing the theming, going in the pools and the raft slide!
@ThemeParkWorldwide fair play for replying. IMO it's better cold and empty than when I was at volcano Bay in June 2022 Couldn't move. It was heaving. I'd love free rain on all the slides.
I enjoy the channel but Honestly didn’t see the point in you even going if your just going to complain about it being cold for the whole vlog. I’d maybe stop doing waterpark vlogs they don’t bring anything and there all just a vid of telling us Charlotte doesn’t like being splashed, even the Australia ones were the same.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. For us it’s about seeing the theming, relaxing and doing a couple of slides. When it’s cold, it’s hard to do those last two things!
Fantastic theming, love to see old school Disney theming that isn’t about Disney films like the parks have become. Love it
It’s great to see the classic theming!
Get out there and keep on sliding!
Always!
Cheers to braving the cold water for your subscribers :)
It was a chilly day but we made the most of it for a few hours and enjoyed it!
Blizzard beach is literally Disney’s most cohesive and consistently themed park!
It’s a beautiful themed experience
Love the fact they have lifeguards at every corner
It’s great!
Really looking forward to going to Florida for the first time later this year! Me and my girlfriend have been watching all your vlogs to get us even more excited! 💞
can't wait to go with you 💕💕

Super proud of Charlotte 🎉🎉🎉 amazing for going on the water slide
Thank you!

Love the theming for this water park!
I love Blizzard Beach (and Typhoon Lagoon). It’s such a well themed water park with such good attention to detail. The rides are great too!
Looks like a great day. I think you and Charlotte should do a meet and greet so people can meet you both talk about tpw and sa and how they have evolved over the years photos etc: I think it would be a good opportunity.

Love this channel, always feel like im coming along with you. Thanks guys

Volcano bay for sure! 👌
Discovery Cove has to be my favorite! After that, Volcano Bay and Blizzard Beach😊
Yay we went there in 2016. Loved it so much. Blizzard Beach was definitely out favourite. Even braved Plummet Summet
I'm glad you and Charlotte got to go to Blizzard Beach. I definitely want to visit someday since Summit Plummet is on my bucket list.
So happy to see you guys having fun! what a great park!
I am definitely going to visit blizzard Beach the next time I come to Orlando Florida

Love the theming, it's brilliant!
Love this place some great memories from there. Thanks for taking us along with you 👍🏻
Thanks for joining us
I loved Blizzard Beach from what I remember but I haven't been back since 1999, glad you both had an amazing time!
Great waterpark!
Well done Charlotte. Looks a great place to visit. I love looking at all the different themed water parks
Thank you!
After watching all your Disney Park videos, I've just booked 2 nights at Disneyland Paris!😀
Have a great trip!
Never looked at Summit Plummet like that before! Great observation. Makes you appreciate the theming even more.

I loved the Disney’s river country I wish it was still open ❤

I love blizzard beach. Blizzard beach is my favourite out of blizzard beach and typhoon lagoon.

Thanks for the video. Twice I've been to orlando and both times Blizzard Beach was closed. Nice to see inside now.
That looked really good fun thanks guys for sharing with us

I never did the disney waterparks as volcano bay has my heart from the theming to the sounds and food

Great vlog as always! I’m going to Disney in August for 16 nights can’t wait to visit my favourite waterpark!
Have a great time!
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the slide at 29:22. 29:26. 30:17
heeeeey congratulations on your two channels

Just your friendly reminder from an ex lifeguard lifeguards are not babysitters
Loved this video guys thank you. Did u enjoy summit plummit. It’s one of my favourite water parks.
Thanks for watching! We didn’t ride it this time!
Good vlog
I went here for a few hours and enjoyed it. I did the lazy river, wave pool, and one slide. It was a raft one that sat 4 people. I will tell you the name if it comes up in the video
It’s definitely a nice place to visit for a few hours!
Hi guys loved the vlog it looked a great place and well done Charlotte for the ride you did xxxx
Thank you!
Yeah that's pretty cold to be going to a water park for us Americans! That like 70° fahrenheit 🥶
It was chilly even for us!
completely off topic but i had a dream last night that alton towers re opened toyland tours, however when i came on it the boats were like bed mattresses and then they were playing star wars music throughout the ride for some reason, and then when i got off it i said it wasnt good at all. then i watched you make a video about it and you said it was good and I was very confused

We used a GoPro Hero 10 for this!
Question: If you use the accessible lift car with a wheelchair, how do you get back down? I guess the answer is on a slide!
Either a slide or maybe they allow the downward ride? I’m not too sure!
Amazing video what do you think of the flamingo land lost river ride being demolished
It’s sad to see it change however it’ll be interesting to see what they do
Hi Shawn Are You And Charlotte Going to Open Day At Blackpool Pleasure Beach It will be nice too see you 😊
We will be!

Pity that you don’t have time for Summit Plummet Shawn
I’m curious to know if you’ll be going to Blackpool pleasure beach for opening weekend?
We will be!
@@ThemeParkWorldwideawesome. I’ll be looking out for u on the day 💯
Loved Blizzard Beach until…went to Volcano Bay.
first
Feel quite disheartened seeing Blizzard Beach looking like this,I remember it looking alot better than this in 2017.
What was your best ride
Went to blizzard beach. Didn't ride summit plummit or slush gusher. Complained how cold it was 60 times.
