Recently gave birth to twins and my partner isn’t really into theme parks, so although Orlando and all its beautiful parks are on my bucket list I don’t think I’ll be able to visit any time soon. Which is absolutely fine because until then, I will live vicariously through you two! Thank you for working so hard in order to bring us along! I thoroughly enjoy all your vlogs 🤗
Yeah I would wait to they at least 48 Ins tall before going to the Universal parks so you can enjoy all the rides together. We waiting to my son is at least 44 ins so we can at least enjoy all the Disney rides together as on our honeymoon back in 2016 our Daughter was just under the 40 in mark so there’s so many rides we can all enjoy together and also the amount of rides and attractions that’s been added since 2016 but like you I enjoyed seeing the parks with TPW.
Another quality vlog. Last year's visit was my first doing Hagrid's and VelociCoaster. Phenomenal additions to what was already my favourite Florida park. I expect it will be a few years before I get to go again but Epic Universe, and maybe Zelda, will be waiting.
I'm not sure if you've already done a video like this, but i would love for you to do a video of a breakdown of costs for a trip to Florida. Such as park tickets, spends for food both if you're on a budget or if you want to eat out, different hotel costs and how it can be done on a budget, all the different add ons such as the genie pass ect. I have little ones and it's all so daunting thinking how much we would need to save to take them in the coming years. I went as a child and they are my core memories and would love for them to have that too!
February is busy in the parks, a lot of schools have a week of vacation in February especially in the North East- and then March you get the Spring Break crowds
I remember going in 1999 and queuing to get into Nickelodeon Studios which has a perfect view of Island of Adventure which was under construction at the time. I desperately wanted to go on those coasters, Disney and Universal were seriously lacking big coasters back then
I absolutely love the Universal parks, watching your vlog has made me sad as we were there two months ago today and I miss it so much. Velocicoaster is my absolute favourite ride at the park, especially at night when its all lit up, it's just incredibly exhilarating!
I remember going on Jurassic Flyers as a kid. They felt so high, especially as a child, I was only 6 or 7. I think it was one of my first coaster-type experiences as I mainly went on the dark rides and simulators back then. From what I remember they were good fun but my main memory is my flip flop falling off on-ride and hitting someone's head!! I've never actually been back to Universal, that trip was the only time I've visited the United States, I'd love to go back again and experience any of the coasters and finally see the Harry Potter world for myself (think it opened later the year I went). Thanks for all the great content, I love watching all your vlogs.
Velocicoaster is definitely my fave coaster ever! Just had a birthday tea for my 21st and my family bought me a Jurassic park cake because of my obsession with the coaster haha! 🤣
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Universal Islands Of Adventure!, keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte, big thumbs as well, Shawn and Charlotte. 😀😎👍👍
Rode velocicoaster for the first time this week. Was concerned that it was overhyped. I’m so glad it lived up to my expectations. Such a great experience
Love the Hulk 💚💚💚 I vividly remember riding it 3 times back to back 😵💫…. Islands is such a great park & we are hoping to get back out there next year for Epic Universe 🤞🏻 Great vlog 👍🏻
More fun on such a sunny day. So many rides taken in and you showed me areas I had never seen like Camp jurassic which turned into quite a workout. Bonus for Charlotte with the major wet rides being down, though River Adventure was a shock for her. 😂. Like all the parks they do seem to come to life when it’s dark.
I loved VelociCoaster and the theming in the queue line was incredible, but purely based on the rollercoaster itself, it is close. However, I would have to say Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens was my favourite coaster in Florida. Thanks again for the amazing Vlog Shawn and Charlotte!
I went for my first ever trip to Orlando In September 24. I absolutely loved the place but I found the heat and humidity a little too much. It was over 90 degrees every day and I found walking around the parks all day extremely tough work (you guys have my deepest admiration for doing it day after day). I`m thinking of going back in February when hopefully it`s a little less humid and a bit cooler. Would you recommend going then ?
Looks like it was a beautiful day and the park looks great. Seems like from a weather stand point February is a really good time to go to Orlando area. When I went in early September it was just to hot and humid, especially when doing multiple parks day in and day out. I guess the main negative in Feb. is more seasonal ride closures.
I never realised you could just walk around camp Jurassic! Looks really cool, will definitely walk through next time I'm there! I went on river adventure last September for the first time and was disappointed with the theming, I feel it really needs an update and could be so much better!
Great to see you visit theses parks at diffrent times of the year which is actually the main reason im watching again so soon after your last visit.had always planned to visit in feb is this half term?we would avoid any school holidays or is the whole of feb extra busy?thank you🙂
Thank you! We decided to visit at this time of the year as it’s when we got the best deal on our Disney cruise! February has been busier than September we’ve found!
The reason the outdoor section is closed on Kong is because the large humps in the road forced excessive stress on the vehicles frame. According to the guide we had. Ty for the videos.
I don’t know if they ramped up Jurassic Park River Adventure but I went on it a few times last year & each time I came off more soaked than the previous time. Most of the people in the queue (including myself) said you don’t get that wet but we all came off soaked 😂🙈 & wasn’t even a full boat!
I'm so sad that Poseidon's is just sitting there because its such a great experience and I think the Hulk is the most intense B and M out there! Spider man is hard to beat as far as dark rides go!
Really good video, shame you cannot film onboard rides, attractions and coasters, hoping well be allowed to film in UK resort and park if its happening? Especially with a Go Pro via appropriate equipment. Otherwise its taking the piss I think to be honest, its a joke. Hoping we can, but guess we shall see? Got a good lot of attractions in this park, hoping we get Jurassic Park / World rides especially our own unique layout versions in the UK resort if happens aswell different and unique type coasters. Be really epic if happens, I am hoping we in the UK parks or Universal get a land themed around World of Roald Dahl as an original permanent IP, featuring most or all creations from his books and creations like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The BFG etc. I would love to see that or if not another park? Guess we will have to see what is created and built for UK theme park industry in future, but nice vlog, enjoyed and look forward to the next. Cheers. 😀👍

31:50 about them not using the outside section on Kong: I read someone's comment on another video who worked there, and he said they were no longer using the outside section because the tires of the vehicles were wearing out too quickly and it cost them too much money. So they decided to get rid of the section completely. To me it's crazy that they didn't think of this before and makes the ride so much less exciting... such a shame really.
The Hulks one of my fav roller coasters and the only roller coaster I’ve ever been on that goes upside down I’ve always declined the smiler and nemesis how much more intense are them 2 coasters compared to it? I once went on the hulk 5 times in a row
