    hi Nadi, I don't use cups for measurement, so please can you tell me the weight of 1 1/2 cups of flour in grams, 1 cup of sugar in grams and 1/2 cup of milk in fluid ozs or pints. Your cake looks delicious and I am making it for my sister 's birthday. Thanks.

    Good morning, what causes your cake to raise in the oven but when you take it out it drops.....I need help thanks 😊

    • @NadisKitchen1
      @NadisKitchen1  2 роки тому +2

      HiCherylann, there can be a couple of reasons. Too much baking powder/baking soda. Too much air in the batter. Always preheat the oven before placing. Place in center rack. Don’t open the oven until it’s more than 80 percent in the baking process. 350 degree Fahrenheit is about 176 degree Celsius.. I hope this helps. Thank you so much 💜

    How many cakes can you get from the measurements

    • @NadisKitchen1
      @NadisKitchen1  3 роки тому +1

      Depends on how you slice it. I baked this in a 8 inch circular springform pan. Hope this helps. Thank you so much 😊

    I tried this recipe.. but my cake ended up with a huge crack in the middle. Your cake had no crack.

    • @NadisKitchen1
      @NadisKitchen1  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Shrastmati, sorry it ended up with a crack. This usually happens when the oven gets too hot or the heat is not circulating evenly. Keep your pan on the middle rack and don’t open the oven frequently. If you see any signs of crack starting then lower the temp a bit . Maybe by 10 degree F.. I hope these tips helps next time. Our ovens are all different and sometimes tend to do their own thing.. lol.. Happy Holidays!!

    How much is the butter by weight?

    • @NadisKitchen1
      @NadisKitchen1  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, I am sorry I should have put the measurements. So 2 sticks of butter is equal to 16 TBS which is equal to 1 cup . 1 cup which is equal to 8 ounces which is equal to 220g. Hope this helps.. Thank you..
