Hi Andrew, Glad you were able to get a wee buzz from our Glen Shiel outing. A terrific morning, made all that more special with managing to get above the clouds. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Heather, We were fortunate the transition from cloud to blue sky was at the cairn and gave us the spectacular features. It certainly saved the day which was looking like clag all the way up until that point. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Charles, The inversions make a day a bit special as you never know if its going to happen until you're there and then its like stepping into another world... just magic. Cheers
Hello, Really glad you enjoyed our latest outing. Getting to the clag/blue sky transition point just made the day. Many thanks for watching. Cheers Charlie
Wow Charlie, the scenery and landscape on offer for this area is phenomenal! Watched every second of it, couldn’t not. Thanks as usual for fantastic commentary and as you said, a stunning day! Cheers Duncan
Hi Duncan, We were fortunate just to top out on the 2nd Munro and that transition height has plenty of atmosphere that makes it special. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers Charlie
Hi AC, It turned out great in the end when we managed to get enough height to get into the sunshine. Just superb when conditions are like that. Cheers, Charlie
Charlie that shot at 5.14!,,, absolutely stunning!, some of the best footage I think I have seen in a long time!,,, that was breathtaking. If I could give you 2 thumbs up I would! Paul
Hi Paul, Its great when all the elements come together for a shot like that. Inversions certainly take a bit of beating for breathtaking scenery and atmosphere. Cheers, Charlie
Hi D&L, The second tops made the day and we were fortunate it was high enough to get us out of the cloud. Great atmosphere and features at this transition between cloud and blue sky. Cheers, Charlie
Wonderful your video's. I did my first munro last September and will be back in May and September for 2 17 day trips. Unfortunately I have to come from Holland so I cannot be there all the time, but I did set myself the goal of doing all 282 of them in the next 10 years haha... See you on one of the munro's 🙂
Hi Marcelmunro, That's certainly a challenge to complete the Munros when based in Holland. Well done and I'm sure your gain a lot of memories and adventures that will be with you for life. I look forward to seeing you on the tops.... you never know. Cheers, Charlie
Another stunning video gents. Again Glen Shiel is an area I am very much looking forward to getting into. A great ridge you were on, with your second Munro of the day with an intriguing summit! Thank you for sharing the video.
Hello, Its great that you had a memory blast from our latest outing. It's such a terrific area for all things outdoor. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Carol, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing. The second top made the day with some superb light. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie
Absolutely stunning. Two fabulous walks you’ve done over the past couple of days. Planning to spend a week up there in April so you’ve really whetted my appetite. Terrific vid as always Charlie.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hello, Many thanks for your positive comment. You'll certainly not be stuck for choices in April as it a terrific area and I hope you have soon settled weather. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Barrie, We were delighted to get through the cloud as it saved the day. Just a super atmosphere on the fringes as the cloud moved around. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Murdo, We were hoping to clear the cloud but it was certainly just on the fringes. Great atmosphere and views that don't come along all that often. Cheers, Charlie
Great video, Charlie, and some superb views and cloud effects. I think you struck lucky with the weather because here in nearby Invermoriston the cloud remained stubbornly low all day with only a few breaks of sunlight in the afternoon. Proves that it's always worth the effort of gaining some altitude even if the weather doesn't look promising first thing. These are a great pair of hills which we have done a few times along with Aonach Meadhoin. At least you didn't have the long walk back to the car along the road !! 🙂
Hi Ian, We noticed the cloud cover on route home and you obviously needed to be close to the sea for any chance of it clearing. Always enjoy getting onto either of the brothers/sisters ridge and doing them together is a super ridge walk far better than the south in my opinion. The light, atmosphere and views on the 2nd top made the day. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Charlie, Yes, I must agree with your comments about the north side ridge being better walking than the south. However, the one thing I have always liked about the South Glen Shiel ridge is the view to the south - to Loyne, Quoich and beyond.
That looked great , the second munro looked amazing popping out the cloud .. Why didn't you do the third brother? Did the brothers and sisters all as one , a great days hiking , very enjoyable 👍
Hi itsablack1, For this particular round we only needed the two which suited the time we had before heading home. I agree the brothers and sisters in the one go is a terrific route we have completed a few times. Cheers, Charlie
Simply outstanding,Charlie. Thanks very much.
Hi Geoffrey, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing. It's terrific when all the elements come together and the grey day is transformed. Cheers, Charlie
What a great day out. And beautifully filmed. Thank you
Hello, Yes, we were lucky just to reach the height for some blue sky. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers
That's a cracking walk with magnificent shots along the ridge. I miss these scottish mountains ⛰️ 🇨🇦

Hi Andy, Just being on the fringes of the cloud level certainly gives a bit of atmosphere to the images. The second top made the day. Cheers, Charlie
Absolutely stunning. Two fabulous walks you’ve done over the past couple of days. Planning to spend a week up there in April so you’ve really whetted my appetite.

Hi Barrie, We were delighted to get through the cloud as it saved the day. Just a super atmosphere on the fringes as the cloud moved around. Cheers, Charlie
Almost too beautiful for words at the top there. What an unworldly experience being up there. Thanks again - magnificent. All the best Murdo

Two fantastic days walks and videos, thanks for sharing, very much appreciated.
Brilliant video. What camera do you use charlie?
Hello, I use a GoPro Hero 9 and capture the video in 4k @ 30 fps. Its a versatile camera and suits the rough mountain environment. Cheers, Charlie
