Thank you for this very straightforward and direct explanation. Sometimes this is exactly what is needed my mother died from atrial fibrillation and suffered a stroke that killed her. She also had diabetes and high blood pressure. Your honest answers are spot on.
Really appreciate this video as an AF sufferer. By implementing most of these guidelines, I’ve only had an episode once a year now which I can usually trace back to over exerting myself, being dehydrated and not sleeping well for a couple of days.
I say stick with your tough love approach. It may not work for everyone, but people can listen to a variety of messages and see what resonates. Of course, that can also lead to hearing what you want to hear. My mother loves her doctor because he tells her she smokes a "good" amount of cigarettes.
Have you done a video on pulmonary hypertension as it relates to AFib and if that can be reversed? Or halted with a whole food plant-based diet? A friend of mine was just diagnosed with PH and they also have afib and PAD. I have been trying to get him to eat a better diet so hopefully things can improve. I don't see much from plant-based doctors on HP however. You are about as direct as you could possibly be with your lectures and that's what people need to hear.
Thank you!! What are the problems with a high CRP? Is the lab test Not that predictive of coronary artery disease and vascular inflammation?? I’m asking for a friend with a high value on HS CRP lab test. Thanks!! 💜🙏
It's often elevated after eating a high fat diet. Dr Sloop (atherosclerosis researcher) belives that CRP is functioning as a myokine b/c mm are not getting enough blood flow, and there is insulin resistance from the dietary fat. Esstelstyn has best lectures on coronary artery disease.
about 10 years ago, I had irregular heartbeat from the nasal decongestant oxymetazoline. Dangerous stuff! Incidentally, if you like classical piano music, I just got my new piano in yesterday and I'm gonna start uploading some recordings again.
Absolutely correct. I had 2 years of my personal experience af and bradycardia. I would only add that ischemia could be not only cardial but also intestinal. I used low fat, low meat diet with some moderation. One day eat without animal fat and oil and alternate day with small amount of meat or fish (ca 50-70 grams). I also added nitric oxide trick by dr Esselstyn 3-4 times a day I chew small amount of green grass with balsamic vinegar. And o God all my problems are gone!
Do you think Dr. McD perhaps had AFib like Hans Diehl? They both died at the same age. He started saying some fatalistic sounding things during his later livestreams. I think he should have ramped up his diet quality as he aged and I asked his friend to try to get him to try this back in 2016.

I looked that up. Yes. I don't know for sure, but here's what seems likely to me: diabetes is prothrombotic. Might lead to atherosclerosis stenosis-occlusion of coronary arteries; eg. intramuscular arteries. Diabetes has a tendency to occlude small arteries, like it does in the foot. Microvasculopathy. One can have significant microvascular angina (coronary syndrome x, microvascular angina) with clean epicardial coronaries. DM increases AGE's & endothelin = prothrombotic. DM injures endothelial cells = prothrombotic. Atherosclerosis is a blood clot. CAD is most common cause of death in diabetics. AFib is largely a disease of CAD. The paper "Unifying theory of diabetes complications" by Michael Brownlee is the best paper ever written on diabetes, and it explains in detail, some of the ways that DM is prothrombotic.
Peter's useing deception through omission when the Bible does allow the eating of meat... Genesis 1:29-30 (God speaking to Adam and Eve) "Then God said, 'Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to everything that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food'; and it was so." My partner did the opposite, increased her intake of pork, fish and eggs and restricted her intake of rice . Before the change she had an x-ray showing her heart incased in fat. 1 year later the x-ray showed zero fat around her heart.
Social thinking versus biblical thinking is the best analogy ❤❤❤❤thanks

Does a lack of curiousity kill some of the cats?
What do you mean exactly by ramp up his diet quality? More greens?
