This episode is soooooo cute and fun, it kind of flips the dynamic of "grumps in public" that I'm used to where Dan is the outgoing extrovert and Arin is more of an indoor guy, because Arin really seems like he's in his element at the ren faire. It's just really nice to see the boys out having a good time

Yesterday I said goodbye to one of my best friends. He was a stray jack russel terrier mix I named Bruce and I found him while I was working at McDonald’s in 2011. For 13 years I got to love him, laugh with him, play with and share so many days I will cherish. 13 years seems like a long time but it was nowhere near enough with my special boy. The past two days have been difficult and I feel so out of it with the heavy emotions. Right now it is 11pm and everyone is asleep but I’m awake and grappling with my grief. But I started watching this episode of TMPH and I laughed and smiled so many times that the grief I’m feeling was dulled. I love Danny and Arnold and have always enjoyed GG content but this was different. I don’t even think I’ve commented on a video a handful of times. But today I needed to. Thank you Arin, Danny and everyone at GG for making content for us. The laughs you give us lovelies truly makes a difference and appreciate you all so much more today. It's so nice to see you guys enjoying faire, it's one of my favorite places to be in the world. 💖I need you guys to visit the Wisconsin/Illinois version - Bristol Renaissance Faire! It's all permanent structures so it's way more immersive - plus it's friggin' HUGE! If you guys ever find yourself in the Midwest in the Summer, I strongly encourage you to go!
The one in Texas is also massive, It's also the only one I've been to. It takes place a little later in the fall though, to try and beat the Texas heat. I remember having a blast and not even being able to explore everything. Maybe I'll make it a future goal to try and visit all the renaissance faires.

Agreed. Frankly it’s silly that there are still, even in this comment section, so many people asking why he’s wearing it. There are lots of good reasons to wear a mask that should be considered normal. Maybe he had an event coming up later that he couldn’t afford to miss due to catching an illness. Maybe he was going to be around an immunocompromised person later. Maybe he felt a bit sniffly and didn’t want to give it to anyone, or maybe he does just wear masks whenever he is out in big crowds. Normalizing wearing a mask in certain situations would be a good idea even if Covid had never been a thing. The habit may never catch on like it has in Japan, but at the very least need to learn to stop questioning and harassing people who are choosing to do it.
As someone with extreme social anxiety, it always amazes me at how loud and obnoxious these two can manage to be in a public places, and I mean that in the best way possible
