It exists! There are exclusive amiibo cards for anch that you can use to get villagers. The villagers also will come with items you can buy on nook shopping in the promotional tab!
Seems more complete and interesting tho 😭 I'm so sad bc AC had so much potential but they just gave up... And now all these other cozy games are compared to AC, only to realize how better they are in the end 🥲

The anime's name is Aggretsuko.
It is a portmanteau of "aggressive" and "Retsuko".
There's no way they chose that name without knowing about the South Park episode. It has to be done on purpose.
The meme from the WoW episode made it over to the Hello Kitty people and they've made tongue in cheek comments about it. They absolutely did this on purpose XD

@cryingwatercolours8127 years ago there was a world of war craft south park episode. Butters in the episode said he didn't play wow he played hello kitty island adventure. The game wasn't real and didn't exist yet. But in either a extreme coincidence or an epic move on the developers part they decided to name the game hello kitty island adventure In 2024
I'm so glad we get a permanent copy of this game and not have to spend like £6 a month for apple arcade. Absolute game changer, I'm so excited to grind this game!!

I hope we get more stuff/content than the arcade version tbh or else what’s the point, other than not spending 6$ a month. Because I’ll still be paying for my subscription as I have other games I play, so it wouldn’t be worth it to also buy it on the switch unless it has more content

I'm sorry, but let's not congratulate them. This should have been the route in the first place. Nintendo caters HEAVILY to indie developers, and Sunblink choosing to go Apple exclusive was a really stupid move.

So glad this is finally going to be available for the console. I loved the game on Apple Arcade, but didn't want to pay a subscription to play it. So now I can continue playing this when it comes to Switch!

This looks so much more heartfelt than the other (two) Hello Kitty licensed games I’ve seen before. Also, the inclusion of Retsuko feels like a gnarly crossover guest despite her literally being owned by the same company.
