loving how Oz and Vic is a kind of Bruce and Jason vibe. very well done.
Penguin wasn't being kind to Victor because he liked the kid; he was reinforcing Victor's growing loyalty towards him. Playing the father figure to a vulnerable young man who lost everyone to the flood.
And he was not honest eith Sophia because he felt bad about betraying her; he just realized that BS-ing her wouldn't work this time. So he needed to gain her trust in a different way.
Sociopaths are subtle manipulators. And Oz is a sociopath. He is not a good person. He doesn't feel guilt, or shame, or remorse. He is a villain, and he can't be trusted. Ever.
The show made most of us believe he had some redeemable qualities, though, which is part of why it was such a good story, he is a very interesting character but he's villain, always was.
I’m just wondering what the payoff is for this guy. He’s going to be found out, no doubt, but what makes him next level crime boss Penguin. I’ve got a bad feeling for his moms, Vic and Vic’s girl. Thanks for your insight!🙏🏾✌🏾

I think in my opinion it’s the early stages of the fear toxin by scarecrow but hey you never know
