Remarkable Ohio - Alligator Mound

On an unassuming bluff in a suburban neighborhood of Granville, Ohio, lies one of the two remaining great animal effigy mounds built by Ohio's prehistoric people. Alligator Mound is a giant earthen sculpture of a four footed creature with a long curving tail.
