That addresses the consistency of the Fabri-tac, but the bottle itself is still very stiff. I've also found it took a lot of acetone to get it watery enough.
thank you! It was so hard to get them when I found out. At that time, about three weeks ago, Amazon sold the bottles for $20 for two, and Walmart had them for $28. I was shocked. Took me ahwhile to get some for my shop. They are going quickly, and my source is already out again. Must be popular!
Great video Lolly! I finally got the silicone tips delivered, so now I can transfer the glue onto the Sugar Belle bottle. Can't wait to try it out! I love using Beacon Adhesives, they are my favorite! I had been using the fine liner bottles and was struggling with squeezing the bottle. So, your tip had perfect timing! Thank you!
Hi Lolly! Once again, you shared a great idea to help us craft easier.😊 Thank you!! I am going to do the same thing. Squeezing the bottles is becoming harder for me, so this is great timing.👍
Hi Lolly! Great video....here's another "tip" I am using. I also like to use the Beamon 3-N-1 glue, which, like the Fabri-tac has a stiff bottle and a stringy consistency. I was having a hard time finding the SugarBelle bottles and especially the silicone caps. Just wanted to pass on a solution that I discovered. I am using the soft squeeze bottles from the Dollar Tree. They have a black screw cap to seal the glue, but that didn't solve the issue with it dispersing a wide stream of glue. As a former cake decorator, I have lots of icing tips in both metal and plastic. I chose to use the plastic icing tip and the screw fits right on the Dollar Tree bottle! As for the silicone tips, I had some of the pink silicone finger protectors that you use for hot glue (again from Dollar Tree). That finger protector fits right over the icing tip and while it does not snap down, it will stay on well enough to keep the glue from drying out. You still need to "burp" the icing tip and make sure there is no glue clogging the tip, but so far, it's working! These icing tips and screws also fit onto the existing Glossy Accents bottles! You will have to remove the nozzle from the Glossy Accents bottle first and then add the icing tip and screw it on to the bottle. Hope this helps someone else!!!
Love this.thsnk you...I tried ordering on your shop but it would not. Bundle for shipping. All 3 items in my cart asked me to pay separately for each item with separate shipping which came to over $15.00 for shipping and 2 of them were shaker bits. Help
usually it adds up the cost of shipping it all and then discounts the shipping on a separate line. So I see your shipping was $14.10, but with then on a separate line they credited you $8.50
Add a littlw acetone to your fabric tac and it will cone out smoother with less sqeezing

I, also, struggle with the Fabri-tac glue bottles. This is a great idea.

Glad you like them! Many thanks!
How easy is it to transfer from the original bottle ?? Great tip !! Thank you
Take the complete lid off the Fabri-tac and pour from the wide part, not the fine tip.

You are so welcome! I was feeling like I needed two hands to squeeze that bottle
@@LollyPalooza I totally agree.🥰
Works very well. Any hints for transferring from original container to sugar bell?
No, I just squirted it in, using the small tip that comes on the original bottles.
