Ah, you mean all those "PPG styled" type of fanarts those only recolor the main characters? Yeah, is great to see someone truly recreating the style instead.
Man i wish someone made the entire series in this artstyle man it would feel like it was made by cartoon network in the early days. It would be so cool if it was on cartoon network. Man imagine if they were in cn city
That show strangely got away with so much. Like I did not remember that show having that many violent and adult jokes as a kid. Kids' comedy cartoons were just so edgy back then and are somehow funnier than most adult cartoons these days.
@@vito ehhhhhhh depends the original was much more funnier because how bizarre it is not only the animation in the series thanks to the likes of studio trigger but the entire world of kill la kill this one is just basically the show but in craig McCracken artstyle its funny i'll admite but not that funny imo
The Last Jedi is unironically the best Star Wars film since The Empire Strikes Back. Rian was actually trying to lead the franchise into a new era not reliant on 'memberberries. The criticism is extremely over-exaggerated and honestly just a knee-jerk reaction.
i mean in the case of hiroyuki imayushi, their more playful styles absolutely are based on 90s-00s western cartoons. it's probably why the animator specifically decided to do this animation study as a throwback to Craig McCracken cartoons
I’m like half-awake and my brain overlapped between now and the 90s upon seeing this and the disconnect was fucking insane. 11/10, holy shit, this is time travel~
This is from an alternate timeline where the US bringed cartoons to the east and that timeline's weebs have body pillows of elastygirl, dexter's mom, etc
this resonates at some fundamental human frequencies. you've accurately managed to depict what it feels like to see that episode in memory vision. commenting to direct the algorithm here
Had to read the comments to confirm that this wasnt the original versio . I was honestly like "yeah i think i remember them animating it like this, totally" very well done, such an on point homage
Everyone agrees you’re great at what you do. Give the people what they need and deliver a full episode of an anime in this style and you’ll get the attention you deserve.
I tried watching kill la kill some years ago. I quitted after the episode 2. this show just isn't for me. its magic system feels like it came out of a poorly made card game where the winner of the battle is only the one who uses most blood or something like that, I don't remember. the fanservice wasn't even that good.
in about a million ways humanity tries to recreate a vintage filter through animations or fan movies and etc and fail horribly, there is always 1 underrated guy that does it perfectly in some way that nobody knows, like this guy.
I have honestly never seen such a faithful homage to this style of animation
This is so beautiful!
Holy crap I wasn't expecting you to be here! I love you're animations and congrats on your work for Monkey Wrench.
It truly is!
make the trevor anmation
jarsh finx theme when
Ah, you mean all those "PPG styled" type of fanarts those only recolor the main characters? Yeah, is great to see someone truly recreating the style instead.

"From the creators of Dexter's Lab."
pretty cute and well made
And here i was thinking that mako would turn into an american after eating that cheese
That whole CN vibes, dexter's feel and PPG all in one. Feelz gud man
Let's be honest we wached this multiple times
the style is so familiar!!! i don't remember what series had this style
Missing episodes cartoon network, I've forget to show Kill la kill
You animated this? Wow, that's so funny and cute (I like the cartoony style)!
I love seeing American anime and Japanese cartoons 👍
Damn wasn’t even made a year ago, that’s cool
Hmm, is there a English dubbed version for American Cartoon effect?
KLK as a Saturday morning cartoon? I want more!
This is adorable ❤
me too
I would so watch this every saturday morning!
Can't wait to reach half the plot
Sounds Good
Honestly it was kinda like that w the monster of the week format for the first half the series
You nailed the 90s-00s Craig Mccracken look.
Knew the artstyle looked fimilar just couldn't put my finger on it
Weird I was thinking it was more like Billy and Mandy.
Even down to the sound effects
When Dexter’s Lab and Samurai Jack are once God Level Class..
I knew exactly what it was
This really feels like it came out of the early days of Cartoon Network, great job
I think it's mostly based on Fairly Odd Parents
I was thinking Dexter's Lab personally
@@sonicfanboy3375 nope the artwork looks more like power Puff girls
Throwing my hat on Powerpuff Girls as well, though the end but does remind me of El Tigre.
@taclians taclians True
I can't believe how realistic this is, I can almost hear my parents fighting downstairs!
😭😭😭

Don't sit so close to the TV. It'll make you cruel.
@@angah82 TV makes you cruel no matter how closely you watch it.
I NEED KLK ENTIRELLY IN THIS ARTSTILE
Yeah, the art style of Genndy Tartakovsky & Craig McCracken respectively.
And then someone else puts out the entirety of Dexter's Lab in the KLK artstyle 💀
Watch "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt"
@@dizzypear they said kill la kill for a reason bro
In 10 years top AI will be able to grant your wish.
This gives me nostalgia for something that doesn’t actually exist.
Cartoon Network?
The Powerpuff girls
Billy & Mandy?
As someone that grew up with PPG, whoever worked on this absolutely nailed it!
Kill la kill exist
Kill la Kill was such an underrated cartoon. I remember watching it when I got back from school, anyone else? back when Cartoon Network was good :-(
Aren't you from earth 2?
I think you got the wrong timeline dude.
That show strangely got away with so much. Like I did not remember that show having that many violent and adult jokes as a kid.

underrated? it was popular 10 years ago and meme'd to death. same with little witch academia

Really have captured that 2000s Saturday morning cartoon vibe well, nice work 👍
I never knew I needed a Powerpuff Girls style Kill la Kill
This is such a well executed recreation, I actually thought that Trigger changed the style for part of this episode and I just didn't remember it.
They did Panty and Stocking, right?
Anything is possible
Wait what? This wasn't the original?
This feels pulled straight from early CN! And its so funny too. Well done!
This is fantastic!! Can't wait to see more of your work, subscribed!!
I can't stop watching this. The animation is actually funnier than the source material.
I wouldn't go too far tho my dude its funny in the og
@@raphaelbrown6314 Not as funny as this

This show is golden and it's all because of Mako being chaotic good for the entire runtime
I haven't seen this show, but Mako is precious in this style.
Mako is precious in any style.
This will be Kill la Kill graphics in 2007 😳
HE'S FROM THE PAST
More like 2003!
more like 2001-2002
I'd totally watch the entire series animated in this style.
Looks like a scene straight out of Dexter's Lab, I love it!
The sound effects?? The artstyle?? The filter?? BLOODY AMAZING ❤🖤❤🖤
The way Mako was eating cheese was kinda adorable.
Dexter’s laboratory x Kill La kill
Dex Da Lab
Anyone else see Max the Rabbit on Ryuko's pajamas?
Alternate reality where Japanese cartoonists decided to copy American style instead of making their own
i mean in the case of hiroyuki imayushi, their more playful styles absolutely are based on 90s-00s western cartoons. it's probably why the animator specifically decided to do this animation study as a throwback to Craig McCracken cartoons
It's giving me this Puffy Ami Yumi vibes.
Great work dude
The look she has as she is about to eat it is priceless 😆
This definitely gives me huge mid-2000’s Cartoon Network vibes!
I fucking love it!
I forgot about this episode of Dexter’s Laboratory
I’m like half-awake and my brain overlapped between now and the 90s upon seeing this and the disconnect was fucking insane. 11/10, holy shit, this is time travel~
Maxwell atoms style. I like it.
Nothing tops off street cheese better than trap cake. It just works

I LOVE HANNA BARBARA SOUNDS
The Max bunnies on the pjs so perfect.
I like how you snuck Max on to Ryuko's PJs
Also I think the best part about this is that in the English dub after Ryuko gets splatted with the pie, Mako asks her if she could lick Ryuko's face.
Certified kill the kill momento
This is outstanding!
Really had to take a double check on this one
I am crying. This is beautiful!
Reminds me of the old days of Cartoon Network thanks for the nostalgia 😊
This is truly amazing. I love this so much
XD
A style crossover I never knew I needed. Well done, this is awesome.
Brought to you by Genndy Tartakovsky
Not enough nudity this isn’t the kill la kill I know
For a second I thought that this clip was from the actual anime itself.
Ah yes my favorite cartoon from the 2000's
Had to read the comments to confirm that this wasnt the original versio . I was honestly like "yeah i think i remember them animating it like this, totally" very well done, such an on point homage

this actually feels really on brand with Studio Trigger like Panty & Stocking
Time to go watch Panty & Stocking again to cope that this era is gone 😢
I want to see more anime scenes drawn in this style. Particularly either Sgt. Frog, Sailor Moon, or Dragon Ball Z.
Nice work capturing the Dexter's Lab artstyle!
I legit thought this was real and not a fan animation at first
I would've loved to watch this series in the early 2000s
No style can be completed without SFX style of Joel Valentine of the PPG sound design:

This scene works so well with this style! Hit the nail on the thread.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kill la kill suddenly turned into western cartoon style for comedic effect
Time traveler: Moves a chair.
The timeline:
On Cartoon Network this show was probably called “Hurt The Hurt” hahaa!
Cheese and Whipped Cream? A good day for Mako.
That’s not American cheese it’s Swiss cheese
We need more Kill la Kill animations
this heavily feels like an episode of dexters laboratory and I love it
Future historians will be so confused
I like this it gives me that classic cartoon vibe.
this gave me the good years of CN vibes. brought so much nostalgia thank you for this. you are an amazing artist! 💖💖💖💖
