best inner and outer sleeves I have found. Zolef are the ones I'm currently using, and my current reference. after using many different brands over the years.

Lately I try to order from Vinyl Storage Solutions. They have the inner sleeves in 2mil and 3mil. I usually try to time it when I need inner and outer sleeves in one order to save on shipping cost
I have seen other folks in the VC talking about vinyl storage solutions from Canada. they have always been very complimentary of their products. I personally have not tried them.
Switched to Zolef inners about a year ago. I like them a lot…. I use the Duel Pocket outers from Vinyl Storage Solutions. They are great. Usually stock up when they go on sale in November.

When I buy a record (new or old) , I clean it, then put in in an "archive" sleeve! I've had new straight from the factory record's that were actually dirtier than a used 30 year old record! That's happened quite a bit!😊
Yes very surprising how dirty the new records are when your deep cleaning them and you see all the dirt. I am currently re-cleaning my record collection with TERGIKLEEN after I already cleaning the records with ilfotol and vacuuming the records. I'm still changing the cleaning solution out after 10 Records because the water is so dirty. Same for new records after 10 records, I have to change out the cleaning solution.
Great topic, Ron! I have a good amount of MOFI releases. I have noticed some ghosting on rare occasions with the mofi sleeves. I’m going to swap out the mofi inners and replace them with the Zolef. Appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences. Steve
Nice vid Ron. I’ve used the MoFi and Quality records inner sleeves. Lately I’ve stuck with Vinyl Storage Solutions for inner and outer sleeves and the variety of sizes for outers. They got my attention when I was looking for outer sleeves for those big UHQR boxes from Acoustic Sounds👍👍
Yeah those UHQR and the bigger boxes are a pain in the neck to try to find decent hour sleeves I might have to check those guys out for that. Thanks for the info, I know they make good products. I have no concerns using the Mofi inners, I also use the round bottom Japanese style inners when I can fit them inside the original printed inner sleeves.
Oh no now I have to go thru all my LPs and see if the MOFI sleeve is leaving a film. Never noticed it before. Maybe they issued a bad batch?? I always thought MOFI was the gold standard for inner sleeves (other than sleeve city). I ordered the sleeves you recommended.
Yeah I had the problem with the film after the records were stored for like a year or so. I do remember somebody else was complaining about this but obviously it's not a widespread problem because more people would be having the same issue I did. That's why I think it must have been just a certain time period but I got rid of all the mofi sleeves. probably only purchased about a hundred or so. That's when I started buying the quality record inner sleeves but they're on the thin side I like disc keeper and the new Zolef much better.
Maybe on average per week maybe one a day. it's not that many I can go a couple days without listening and then I'll listen to five six records in one day you know how it goes. I find lately I am watching more UA-cam than I'm listening to records lol. 😊

There’s nothing like dropping an old record into some new sleeves.

Yes I agree using the round Japanese in the paper sleeves is very economical
