Todd, I am a fellow North Carolinian and have been watching your videos for about a year now but this is my first time commenting. I want you to know that your videos have been the main inspiration for me to take the leap to small business ownership. A leap I’ve wanted to make for most of my adult life but could not for one reason or another, until now. I’m 55 years old and have been in pharmaceuticals management for the last 27 years. I was unhappy in the corporate world and just didn’t want to do it anymore…so with your help, I decided to make a change. I have a tractor, box blade, dually pickup, and a 5 ton dump trailer. Your videos helped me to put myself out there last August when I took on my first driveway repair job. Since then, the work has continued to flow at an encouraging rate…so much so that I will be leaving my pharmaceutical job on April 1st to make a real go of it! I’m cautiously optimistic and terrified. Regardless of how it ultimately turns out, I am grateful to you for inspiring me and teaching me how to do the work well. To date, I have done driveways and shed pads and I believe I’m doing good work, thanks to your guidance. Please keep the videos coming, I enjoy watching them and I have so much more to learn…
This is so heartwarming to hear!!! I’m extremely excited for you. Be good to the customer but always be sure to turn a profit. Best of luck. If you ever need a consultation to help in specifics email me at tkindy.slm@gmail.com
You are right Todd. Any time you can find a pole number it will identify what utility company owns the pole which in short will identify who to contact. Also if the pole doesn’t have a number you can go to the pole or poles before and after to get the pole numbers which will help the utility companies locate the pole you are referring to. Hope this helps and as always I love watching your videos. (Muddobers Earthworks LLC)
Your many years of experience are showing off. You make everything look so easy and we know there are always plenty of unknowns that pop up on every project. You quickly adapt and keep moving forward. Experience and a healthy dose of patience goes a long way and you Sir have plenty of both. Enjoyed the video. 👍👍
@@digginlifedeeper3670 mistakes is how we learn some of our best lessons, like the pretty white stuff on top…. It may look clean and pretty, but it’s still $h1t. You’ve always shown us the “ooops” and that helps us avoid those setbacks. Thanks again 👍👍

Todd, demolition is so fun, I enjoy all your videos. The new characters make it that much better. Stay dry today. Its raining like crazy here in the North Georgia mountains
I've always enjoyed watching and learning from your technique. Your video production skill are great, really love all the b-roll shots that capture all aspects of the job. I'm sure that takes a lot of time, but really appreciate your efforts, makes for an entertaining video. I've subbed to this channel too now. Keep up the awesome work man!!
You crack me up!! You do provide a lot of great information and instructions on what and why you are doing! Just started watching you and have really enjoyed it! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
Thanks for the videos todd! Im making the jump to excavating this year, the hardest part for me is bidding. Just got a septic, basement and drive way project all to bid on for one customer at the same house build location. Om nervous to bid it but going for it all in!
Love your channel you remind me so much of my older brother How's the family doing n the girls? How's it working out having all the equipment right outside you're door Sometime could do another vedio on all your equipment
I dig this video (no pun intended), you got a lot going on in this video. Should be a good series of videos. I run an excavator too and still get nervous parallel on a slope. Couple questions was the swale on top of the pipe? That wont that wash material above pipe away and expose pipe? Also you said the pipe was level but wouldn’t you want fall on one side ? Thanks for a great video.
Hey Ben!!! Good questions. The swell was off to the side . Good clay won’t typically wash very easily. I should need more proper with terms. The pipe did have a slight bit of fall to it
Here in Washington state, that barn wood you are going to burn has a value of 20 to 30 grand if it’s as old as it seems. Seems people see the roofing as the money scrap, it’s just in the way of the real money
Yes sir Cliff!!! For the most part digginlife deeper covers land clearing, forestry mulching Bush hogging, and demolition. Digginlife21 is where I film all my grading, excavation, and dirt work. If there is mixed work on one property I just put it on this channel

There are so many old barns around here I guess that makes the value far lower. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
