For me, the 90° jack of the glove always disconnects itself from the battery. How do you make sure it stays connected?

I'm really looking for something to get me into single digit weather. I've seen a lot of videos but haven't really seen one that breaks down 'how cold they can get to'. I'm tempted in purchasing one of these but for the money I need to know honest to god the 'low end' temps these will reach and still be reasonably comfortable.
I like the Finchleys but everyone is sold out
I like the Minworth and am thinking of picking up the brown set but at that price, I need someone with experience to break it down for me how cold I can expect o be comfortable in.
