Tony Campos is in every industrial metal band
He’s a champion
Legend! 🤟
Not only. He seems on constant rotation.
Fear Factory is a true Legend, cheers from Argentina.
muchaaaachos
Who's playing the typewriter?
Good one. LMAO. Nice analogy as well.
That's how FF do
HAHAH! That cracked me up!
Danny Krinkle hahahahaha
Hahahaha fuuuuck. I laughed way too hard at this.
Fear Factory is one of the best live metal bands I have ever heard.
The Best!!!
Damn right, I agree
no lol
Very late comment, and I say this as a HUGE FF fan, as they are my favorite band, so I want you to know I'm not hating... But you must not have heard very many live metal bands. 😕
It's a shame there's so many negative comments about Mike Heller. The guy has a spinal condition and had to adapt his playing style to accommodate it - hence he's very upright. Fucking bedroom critics. The guy is a phenomenal drummer.
I sympathise - but its also just as painful to watch.
Ok Bucky we get it, just calm down.
Sorry for him but it's pretty obvious he is not good enough for FF requirements
Incorrect. This is embarrassing.
Mike is incredible he plays Raymond's parts so well, but I think Raymond might have difficulty playing what Mike has laid down.
I love Fear Factory . I can appreciate all the lineups . They will always be awesome .
looks like the drum tech's doing soundcheck during the whole gig.
You mean running front of house? Soundcheck only happens once before the gig, dumbass.
@@officialmetalwill thanks mr. know it all. You seem to be a funny person with tons of humor.
Drummer be like: "They don't pay me enough for my enthusiasm"
+William Montes how do you know that?
+Kenji Inafune speaking of that did they get a new drummer wasent that guy from SYL drumming for them ..????
YEAH and hes also " i better not hit them cymbals too hard they might crack" i wish they would bring herrera back !!
u mean gene hoglan, yeah he was but hes with testament now and from what i understand he was more of a studio session drummer for FF
The Drummer is also from Malignancy BDM band check them out =)
Burton over the Years destroyed his vocal cords.
i saw fear in spain too i like a lot fear factory and the problem is when change the grutural to melodic in concert...you know? i m signing all songs in a car jj and screem the same but in concert you forced the voice and if change to melodic is normal the faringe spanded,,, i think that if they will make the same on a cd need another person only for the melodics... or dino learn to signing for reforce some melodics ... is too dicult--- have a lot of work jjj
Burton actually sounds fairly good here
yeah , bad tuning
@Ghost Heart You can get the gist of it. Give the guy a break: how many languages can you speak?
Guitar tone is brutal as fuck
Mexican kerry king on bass
Heavy set Eric Peterson more like it ;)
Meant Dino my bad lol
That's Tony Campos from Static-X and Soulfly and Asesino.
And Ministry :D
LMFAO!!
Top 5 bands of all time for me!!!
Dino doesn't age. He is a machine.
every time the next album comes out he takes it up yet another notch. Mean right hand.
He just get's bigger and bigger.
XD
Dino is the best member in that band
Se pone mas gordo el cabron lol
Burton still sounds great but man he was untouchable back in the day.
You can tell his vocals has been hammered
R.I.P. FF thanks for all the sacrifices made to bring it to the fans.
Jesus, every time Dino adds a string he gains 40 pounds...
I laughed so fucking hard LMAO😭😭
Imagine when he gets a 9 string...
Burton very clearly has backing tracks. In the chorus for power shift you can tell he is lip singing. His voice has been gone for years at this point. Not taking anything away. FF was my favorite band in High School. I saw them in their prime touring for Obsolete, opening for Slayer. Shit was amazing.
Sounds like autotune to me, which he uses on the albums too
@@CurtisSpiers I agree, that's definitely autotune. I think Dino confirmed this as well regarding 2015 shows.
@@Schatje79 That's not autotune, that's a backing track. You can hear the vocal track hard right in the mix and his real voice left-middle. He sort-of sings with the backing track a few times and it's clear.
just about every band these days has backing tracks..so what?
@@heresjohnny999 "just about every band nowadays gives us a lesser version of themselves than they used to what's wrong with that" written from an iPhone drinking Starbucks. No wonder culture is so fucked you kids don't want it.
I was at every Melbourne show on their first tour back in 93 for Soul of a new machine , burtons clean vocals haven’t changed much since then, all he had was a boss delay pedal which he manually operated throughout their set , but credit to his metal vocals they’re still special. Love this band miss ray and Chris
Fear Factory, Fear the Lawsuit, all my favorite bands are ending, Genexus was a masterpiece.
FF -THE BEST INDUSTRIAL METAL BAND.
There are 8 better ones.
No shadow of doubt
I miss Raymond Herrera!!
Same here Kelly... Raymond's a fuckin legend !!!
Yes!!!!!!
And Christian!
I miss Gene Hoglan!
He got kicked out and is now sueing the band
All I want in music is in this amazing band : thank you for all, fear factory!
Good show guys! sound quality is awesome love it and always loved FF
Always loved the drumming with this band
I'm really gonna miss Burton, yeah I'm excited about the new album and all but I would've love for Burton to stay
Burton is the soul of the machine. No Burt, no FF.
@@revivedfears That's such a silly thing to say when Burton's openly admitted that he mentally checked out of the band ages ago. The insane amount of playback he relies on in their live shows is fairly unbecoming of a serious band, too, to be honest. I'd happily keep him as their studio vocalist forever, but if it's just a paycheck to him, peace be with him and let FF move on in a new direction. It'd be cool to see them with someone who can actually perform live.
My favorite band since like 2001.
So good to see this so many years later!
Thank you Fear Factory!
I don't think the kick triggers are loud enough...
Lol
It's all I hear
One of the many things I love about Fear Factory. Kick Drums are always so brutal live.
jin kazama look up the meaning of the word ‘Sarcasm’ dude. I think no malice was made by the OG comment.
LOL
Sam Delanoe you can hear every imperfection
That is one of my favourite bands!!!
Loved seeing them in Kansas City a few years ago! They're so damn powerful!!
Vocals have seen better days my friends
Facts!
Yeah age had caught up on him def..
@@jaredfournier3824 now he's out of fear factory

Brutalidad absoluta y perfecta!!
OUTSTANDING& TIMELESS!
Burton's voice cracking like he's going through puberty again.
Drummer looks like he should be working the merch booth?
Suits Dino. Ie cheap!
The dude has no enthusiasm!!
What??
Epic stuff. Love Fear Factory!
Muchas graciasss !!!!!
Looked like a really good show! I must see these guys next time they hit my city! :)
Damn, they still sound good after all these years, FF are the best.

saw them live at the startlight ballroom in wellington new Zealand ,only 4000 tickets ,amazing show
I love this band!!!!!!!
me too
I had a poster of theirs on my wall 20 years ago.
Singing like that for this long.
Anyone complaining should try singing like this, for that long.
I saw em in the early days.. couldn't sing in tune then either! 😂
Or really just singing like this in general. It's difficult to go from the growl to clean tone unless you're cheating
I have, because I've had proper training. I can still do it, without being off key.
@@kmeadows78 for 20 years and on a consistent basis as Burton? Somehow I doubt it.
@@kmeadows78 Burton was one of the very first guys in metal to do the whole heavy/clean singing thing by the time training for that type of singing was widespread his voice was already damaged hes had a vocal coach in recent years which has helped to a degree but at this stage its more about preventing further deterioration than restoring his earlier vocals.
Fantastique concert !
They come from so far I see they channeled their pain into worklich fabulous music
That guitar sound!
I am completely blown away....this us what HEAVY is supposed to sound like!!!!!!!!
Eh... idunno.. kinda lacking. I do remember the drummer getting beat in a drum battle by a host of a video game talk show. That was epic lol
Too bad you never heard the Obsolete tour live when Burton still had his voice.
AMAZING SOUND LIVE.........
Tocaron increíble!
One of the enthusiastic drummers in metal history!;)
F#NG MM lol
Ya lol I saw them live a few years ago and here it is, that crazy drumming and he seems like it's just walking in the park lol
Didnt know chris evans was a drummer...cap is a beaat

@@80nighttime That's your defect. It's not "needed" just because you haven't figured out the better way to do it.
Awesome Perfomance.
Was gonna sail on by content with a couple choice cuts, but damn, the ENORMITY that IS Burton C. Bell & company had me dropping anchor right quick!!- 🤘🖤🤘
Como suena les suena Powershifter en este directo.... Increible!! .... y a ver cuando quitan del setlist de los directos edgecrusher o linchpin... y final exit deberían volver a tocarlo en sus conciertos
What a difference a good vocal teacher makes, Burton's kicking more ass right now than in probably the past 10 years..! Perhaps some live keyboard (again) would make for an even more epic/more FF performance..
Burt was lip syncing the clean vocals here. He still can't sing.
@@pandaath uh no he wasnt. The orginal poster is correct Burt has put a lot of practice in and sounds great now. Better than ever. I seen them twice in 15 and iwas up front and he was for sure not lip syncing he was really great!
@@terry85mar He still sounds like he's struggling tremendously though, the cleans sound incredibly fragile and the pitch wobbles all over the place. I'd hardly call this "great". His growls do sound good though!
But uhm... looking at performances a year after this one it's clear that whatever he gained he quickly lost again, even the growls collapse into half-wheezing. RIP.
@@terry85mar better than ever? Nah man. Ain't no amount of vocal coaching going to fix his voice. He was pretty good on the Genexus run tbf but he's still very often flat or off key with cleans. 1995-2005 were Burton's best years. Specifically the Obsolete and Archetype tours in my opinion. He does lip sync some of the choruses too. All the newer tracks definitely.
@@rot_studios he was very tired and had toured hard around the time of the download performance I presume you're referring to. Burton's best years are long behind him but he genuinely sounded better at other shows on that tour. You can actually hear the moment he blows his voice early in the set at the show you're talking about.
Amo essa banda
Awesome. Some explosive moshing took place when Demanufacture kicked in. Hail Fear Factory.
I like how he just resorted to playbacking during Powershifter...
No pierden la escencia de la banda todo perfecto
Joder vaya conciertazo, salgo volando jajaja, FEAR FACTORY!!!!
Video Liked … Awesome band . got all the studio albums .
Burton and Dino together made magic happen when they hit the stage.
I find the time when FF had no Dino in the band magic as well, honestly. Archetype album is so badass.
@@MLCrow Archetype and Transgression are worst albums ever.
@@Biology_Chemistry_Poetry_Love If for you the albums are the worst ever you have no clue about music. You're a funny person. lol ...but ok.
Archetype is a masterpiece
The drummer wanted to be fishing instead.
im 40 of my holy age now bro.i know this band from my big brother...his cassette....Now i wacth fear factory live on stage...ohh rabb...holy goddess
Love some Fear Factory
In my opinion, I don't give a flying F*** wether Burton uses autotune or not. I produce a lot of music and if your band is as unique, original and creative as FF you should seek your limits in order to give it that bit of extra atmosphere. I also compose music, and I write a lot of stuff I can't sing or play myself, I've choses to let other people do it for me, in the studio aswell as live, but Burton seeks his limits on the album and I vallue creativity more than an unaltrered live performance. I can't wait to see them this year. And I'm an old dude :p I was there back in1999, and I cann tell that Burton has made a great leap with his vocal performance live. So keep on enjoying the music, and always seek the limits, bacause if you only do what you already can you'll never grow ;)
definitely. i dig both the way it sounds live and the album. burton has improved for sure. I hope to hell i can see them sometime. been a fan for 10 years and they are an inspiration for me.
That was one of the realest comments I’ve ever read. Well said my friend
Thank you!if your Legendary as FF stand up,otherwise stfu
Bell can you whatever he wants. Guys a legend in my book. FF is insanely underrated
Some dumb asses also need to realize he uses the audio tune because he’s supposed to sound like a robot on his cleans lol and he still does it really good live too
at resurrection fest without performing resurrection ? :(
Stellarion Prime facts!
Def one of my favorites from them
No way could burton do that one without totally embaracing himself.
The machine lives on
Los amo Fear Factory
kemper !!
+Roberto Amores It is roaring!
REALLY? daaayuuum
Yep! Sounds damn good too and looks direct. Don't see a cab.
Anybody notice that he completely lipsynced the cleans in powershifter? He may have in other songs too but I didnt watch all the way through.
I noticed and you can tell that he try to sing along with it but then he chose to lip sync it and this ain’t nothing new cause I’ve seen some industrial metal acts use a backing track with the lead vocals
Fear! Fuckin! Factory! Been one of my faves for many years and seen em live in possibly favorite concerts of all time!
Brutal 🖤
true warriors of metal. Really dig the Dune movie intro too ;)
True warriors of metal? Burt can't sing for shit. He needs fucking autotune when in studio.
You don't know what auto tune is. It's a very obvious effect
ken frazee
Just listen to Burt's clean vocals on albums, it's so obvious he uses auto tune. It doesn't sound natural and he sings high notes on album when *EVERYONE* knows Burt can't do that live.
Do you even know what auto tune even sounds like? It's obvious you don't. I can hit those "high" notes and I suck, at vocals at any rate. He gets dialed in studio but, yeah, youtube vids demonstrate major suckiness. saw them live twice and he sounded great, maybe acoustic weirdness- frequency-distance-decibels, this is a thing that happens a lot, many live recordings replace tracks to compensate
Auto-tune does not have to sound like the typical Pop/Dance Daft Punk/Cher sound we all ubiquitously know to be auto-tune. The same application and tool can produce a very wide range of effect to the track it is on. I would not be surprised at all if Melodyne is playing a big part of their studio albums. I have seen Fear Factory many times since Obsolete and his voice has taken a hit live in the last 5 years or so. Either way, they are still an incredible band.
Brillante registro del concierto, igual Burton, mejor que en otras ocasiones.
Cuanto más veo este show más me sorprendo de lo bien que esta Burton, le he visto tantas veces mal...
Zero signal is one of the best!
Rammstein and these guys are the only 2 names you need.... Fucking awesome
No they aren't
That drummer is such a beast that playing Fear Factory is easy for him. His technique is so economical that he doesn’t have to strain and try to keep up with the songs. That’s a Pro. Remember the live mix isn’t the drummers fault, he’s just doing his job. Also, Bell and Dino probably don’t want the drummer to draw attention because he’s only a hired gun.
That whole statement is just spastic, go to bed.
Very good.
zero signal sounds amazing
People I'm sick of seeing you all complain about Burts clean vocals metal singers deliberately hold their vocal abilities back while on tour for a number of reasons the most common of which is to keep their voices from breaking the rest of the tour and as far as the so called lip syncing on Powershifter, there was no lip sync except on the post bridge leading into the second chorus they've been doing that since Mechanize came out and they're one of many groups to do such and besides growling for over 20 years takes its toll it will harm your voice over time regardless of conditioning making it difficult to hit higher notes in closing Burts performance of Powershifter in this vid is the best I've seen
+Leon S All the bridge/chorus parts on Powershifter are backing tracks. As is all the clean vocals on the new tracks and Archetype too. No point in trying to deny it, it's obvious. I'm a huge FF fan but it is a fact.
Agreed, that small bit of autotuned track on PShifter is the only thing not sung live.
+revivedfears You're a huge fan of a band who you've admitted uses auto tune? You are an idiot. Burt can't sing live. I see no reason why anyone would want to be a fan of these guys.
maybe because they create amazing music?
Burton C Bell has always been a fucking woeful live performer. He was shite at the start.
Can we turn up the kicks please, i can barely hear them over every single thing in the video 😑
I want to see this again
Good concert, is a long time since we heard "Smasher/Devourer"
+Kuba A. As far as i'm aware it has been in the set for the last 3 tours.
RIP Burton's voice [*]
Is natural man 24 years in extrem metal.
I've been singing like this for 23 years and I've never sounded that bad, even when my throat was fucked up.
Love FF and Burton on album but live, his cleans have sucked since the early years. Sad thing.
Plus take a guy like Robb Flynn. Guy has been doing the same shit for more years and he doesn't have this kind of problems.
It's not an age thing or a "bad day" thing. You hardly ever find a live recording of FF where Burt sounds "fine" .
Gordon Ramsay on vocals lol
Add in the cockney English accent and you've got Gordon Ramsay screamin' his arse off, "I've no lemons for this bullshit!"
@@MetalSStar196 .......he's Scottish

Interesting mix.
no Archetype, no Linchpin, no Dielectric from his "agosto siete" release, come on ...not even Resurrection at Resurrection Fest?! what the hell?
Archetype is AWESOME!
not to Bell, apparently.
@@zaiten2012 Burton loves archetype, when dino rejoined he was pretty adamant about not performing any of the material with Christian on guitar, but due to Burton's fondness for the track and requests from fans they have now performed archetype on several occasions, there's also footage of a Russian show with dino where they perform cyberwaste.
Scott McEwan a feud! That explains. After playing together for 10 years, I’m curious as to how Christian usurped Dino’s role. I find it arguable weather it’s true if Dino left because Burton wanted to go “indie rock” after Digimortal’s poor sales. But then there was litigation involved, which leads me to think Christian would get royalties if Dino plays his parts from those two albums.
What did you expect. His clean vocals ate so horrible. Listen to shock and how flat and shakey his cleans are then magically on power shifter he his ever clean note perfectly. Yea...right. Can anyone say...pre recorded, auto tuned tracks? Lol
