Watching from France. I'm a fan of trains. I travelled to many European countries by this means of trans portation. I enjoyed each time seeing the country side, visiting towns and cities. In my teenage years in Nigeria, I sometimes go to north of Lagos, former capital of my country to see diesel locomotives bought by Nigeria Railways from Canada. Here in Europe, I still do train watching, especially the goods/logistics bulk carriers. North American : US / Canadian locomotives horns are wonderful synphony to hear. Watching vidéos when they're cruising through the canyons, tunnels, Valleys, thé wilde pin trees and snow. I appreciate, well done.

Only in recent years they have salted the roads before storms….

I knew a young man (at the time…1977 or so) that worked for the railroad and one night he fell between two moving train cars and ASTONISHINGLY DID NOT DIE, but lost a leg and his arm was ripped off at the shoulder joint ion his right side…on his left side, he lost his arm at the elbow. Having worked as the CN rail taxi basically.....drove train crews around the yard and picked em up, dropped em off, can confirm its alot of work putting a train together. Takes em a good couple of hours. Id get dispatched to take a crew back to Port Huron at like 9pm. If the train was there, the crew would be ready around 11:30-midnight at best. At worst, if the trainmaster had extra work, it wouldnt be until 2-3am when id leave for a nice 3 hour drive to and another 3 hours back home to Kalamazoo, MI, from Port Huron...

Hi I see your located in Buffalo, I’m wondering how big the rail yard is out your way, I noticed on VRF that there are 11 trains tied down in Buffalo as of today 8/29/22! Thanks
I absolutely admire your devotion to bringing trains videos no matter the weather! It’s also really helpful to see trains running in these conditions and to understand what it’s like having to work on a job like that! Trains crew are required to be on the job regardless if the weather is harsh or not. I’ll tell you that in where I live in Tennessee, the weather can be all over the place especially during the fall season. East TN, to be exact has unpredictable Weather every year to the point where it hardly snows most years. I’m pretty much used to all weather conditions thanks to where I live. Anyway, thanks again WWOT! -Alik
Incidently we never get used to snowy or slippery conditions with Blizzards, simply because each day we are a different person as we wake in the morning.... something you do routine all of a sudden one day all something falls over and bang, Accident ????!!!!!!

I like watching your videos because back in the 70's I worked for Dunkirk ice cream during the summer. It wells ice cream now I guess. I'm still around Dunkirk running from Buffalo to Willard ohio No , not a fan of DP power
I live in the Northeast right around Oswego and we get more snow because of the lake affect and if you don’t have enough weight in your vehicle in the winter you’ll go off the road you better let those wheels grip and grip good cause four-wheel-drive and all wheel drive vehicles make it through the winter but if you have a certain amount of weight in your vehicle like 300 pounds my truck is a rust bucket but I’ll tell you it drives through the snow and no problem the WholeThe frame is solid body doesn’t look that great but 300 less than 300,000 miles

Don’t they have switch heaters?
Hi I see your located in Buffalo, I’m wondering how big the rail yard is out your way, I noticed on VRF that there are 11 trains tied down in Buffalo as of today 8/29/22! Thanks
Well, there’s your DPU. That’s what I will see if the DPU is climbing on a grade.
Awesome Catch's With CP Power and DPU'S ALRIGHT
I absolutely admire your devotion to bringing trains videos no matter the weather! It’s also really helpful to see trains running in these conditions and to understand what it’s like having to work on a job like that! Trains crew are required to be on the job regardless if the weather is harsh or not.
I’ll tell you that in where I live in Tennessee, the weather can be all over the place especially during the fall season. East TN, to be exact has unpredictable Weather every year to the point where it hardly snows most years. I’m pretty much used to all weather conditions thanks to where I live.
Anyway, thanks again WWOT!

Thanks appreciated I'm glad you enjoy my videos
Incidently we never get used to snowy or slippery conditions with Blizzards, simply because each day we are a different person as we wake in the morning.... something you do routine all of a sudden one day all something falls over and bang, Accident ????!!!!!!
Takes real dedication raikfanning in a whiteout. Proud of you WWOT
It’s the ones that don’t know how to drive in it, that gets you. I was out of CSX OUT NASHVILLE. But I was a driver in Vans. My biggest danger was deer’s
Hey Wide World of Trains, nice job man, have a great weekend!!

I admire your dedication wwot! It’s appreciated!
I like watching your videos because back in the 70's I worked for Dunkirk ice cream during the summer. It wells ice cream now I guess. I'm still around Dunkirk running from Buffalo to Willard ohio No , not a fan of DP power
Cool video, thanks. Stay safe and warm
Dude.🚂👍🏼
Thanks, you too!
I like watching train videos
Ha ! Watched a few of your vids, all i can say is your one dedicated dude. I have a sneaking suspicion that your a retired Hog Head with waaay tooo much time on your hands. I'm gonna buy you a fishing pole and a subscription to playboy magazine. Or ! A nice h.o. scale model train. 👍 board stiff.
