Audi 80 2.8 quattro owner here. It's a pure driving experience that is not comparable with any of the new cars... The car is absolutely amazing and neither a Passat b6 that I own doesn't compare with the 80. It's a shame that we can't see cars that are well built like these ones in the video....
I have Audi 80 B3 from 1990. It has 1.8 litre engine and only 90HP, but I love this car. Very pleasant to drive and extremely durable. It has done 350 000+ kilometres already and still works and looks great.
that is some slick design, I like it even today, the red Audi 90 looks really good and sporty. Miss those chrome applications in the later models. So long, enjoying my Audi 80 B4 5-cylinder 😎
Features average spec Audi 80 does not actualy have but are in this video: ABS, quattro, foglights, tahometer, a crapload of buttons instead of a radio. Still love my 98hp front wheel drive Audi brand Lada. Because damn, Germans made one hell of a durable car.
My grandfather had this car (audi 80), bought during the 80's (I do not know exactly what year it was), but then sold back in 1999. there a special feature, the my grandfather's car was going to LPG (gpl), but I remember that my grandfather also put diesel or petrol and was equal, and the car went equally well. XD XD LOL :-) a great nice engine car, was also quite fast to be a sedan :-)
I love watching this movie. And im lucky to have two them. I have 90 Quattro and Coupe. Absolutly pure plesure to drive. I recommend to everyone who think to buy youngtimer. You could easy drive everyday.
Still own one and its proboply most realiable and long runnig car in world right after VW Golf Mk2 and japanise cars made at same time already in junk yards while this german masterpiece still going so who say japanise cars are better they dont know jack shit about cars.
@@RyosukeTakahashiRX7 In where I live cars are being kinda abused to the point of junk yard plus East Europe climate dosen't help either. If you see there something like EG6 you see it rusted trough. On the other hand any German car form 80s/90s still going with rust here and there, I can't say same about post 2000. Just my local experience.
@@ervinas_matulis Well, i live in Germany and most of old Audis, especially the 80, get kinda bad treatment here. If they aren't a rare quattro or coupe people don't seem to care. Meanwhile BMWs and Mercedes rust like hell here, Audi only sometimes. JDMs are rare here so most owners try to preserve them as well as possible.
@@RyosukeTakahashiRX7 OHH makes sense. Its perhaps where I live JDM parts are kinda rare so people don't really care about car if it have expensive or rare parts due the fact most of spares come from scraps if they still in good shape while JDM ones are literally burnt or overused. Anyway different countries different look to cars.
P.S About brakes, 80 km/h - 30m to disaster...fool stop near human...i was shocked, stopped car in 3m from human, really nice quality car, sound my wheels, were like on video
MaxDamage14 I know drive radio new retro wave maniac synth and all that Im just wanted to listen this music without narration. :) Anyway one of my fav retro song

No way, I daily drive a B6 and am restoring a classic 2.6 80 quattro

I still dream that audi will make these some day again. I would love to buy a brand new one!
The A4 is the Audi 80.
bighands69 But they are not as sexy as b3s were. Without that damn chrome radiator make-up. I like my cars with minimal makeup, you know...
Keep dreaming
I bought a B 3 in June 2013 with original 37tkm. Is like new. 😊
Yeah right, keep dreaming!
A little humour there at the end. Love these promotional videos, wish they still made them
There are just not cars left that deserve ads like these
Still have audi 80 quattro 1988 use it every day 500,000miles now

What an amazing video and great car! Wish they still did promotional videos for cars like this.
Да делали раньше авто с душой и с честное качество была у меня одна из такой. Если бы сейчас выпускали бы такие взял бы сразу.
Ah the Audi 80 - our family car for the bulk of my childhood. I'm not ashamed to say that I cried like a baby when it was time to say goodbye!

they do have all these things, but since yours (and mines) is low powered, it doesnt have these. Also mines a b4, comes with abs that i really hate.
очень маневренная машинка,лёгкая и шустрая,у самого такая!😉
Undying car, i'm owner audi 80 B3 1989...love this car, old car, but really cool car on this years)
I had this promotional videotape. Thank you for posting it! Miss these cars.
the all mighty audi 80 :-) these were good cars
I like to get my hands a 88 or 100 for nostalgic reasons alone .
Разговоров нет, новое оно и есть новое, моей ауди80 уже 27, но состояние очень хорошее, ну конечно с этими не сравнить.

hmm, I have a 1988 b3 80, but its nothing compared to what they show in this video...
it's not stock 80 b3 in the video its b3 quattro
That's because most features presented in the cars in this video were optional. You had to pay extra for them, which is a bummer.
song ?
***** it's a 'generic track' made for the video. For music like that, check out NewRetroWave

Yeah, it is pretty good! Too bad it's just one of those tracks you can't find.
***** The ContentID system in UA-cam didn't flag anything in this video, like it has in most of the other tapes I uploaded.
