- In this video, we make a switch plate panel, pre-wire the switches, and install to the side of the galley. Clean up and prepare for next task!
This is Part 64 of my travel trailer project - Do It Yourself - video. Starting from the ground up of a 6 x 12 camp trailer. This is a Work-In-Progress, so more video to follow. Leave a comment and let me know what you think as I build on! Thanks for watching!

another fine job and onto the next.
Awesome thanks!
Love that rocker panel!! Came out very good. Can't wait to see this build completed and you making a video of enjoying this camper in the woods :)
Thanks Abin! Can't wait to get out there myself!! :)
Very cool, Thanks for breaking it down. Another great episode!
Thank you Steve!!
Hey Batman. This is looking awesome. You are giving me ideas for my trailer that I am in the process of designing and planning. Thank you for these videos.
You got it Garrett! Hope you post videos of your project, that would be cool! Thank you!
My friend, you have what AVE calls 'mental endurance'. The ability to see a project through via meticulous step by step discovery and implementation. Even though you may wish to just be done with it, you persist, with no shortcuts. This whole project that you took on has been very inspirational.
I'm thinking you must be a pastor of a local church or something similar ;~) But tell the truth, you have already taken this thing out and slept overnight in it, prior to completion, right?
Also nice to see you didn't skimp on the 12v wiring gauge. Most dont care if they lose 20-30% of their battery power through insufficient wiring.
Thank you for your contributions and sharing with us.
Aspedell, I am a firm believer, that if you can conceive it... you can achieve it! If you can see it with the minds eye, no reason you can't make it with your own hands! :) Thank you very much for the comment! You are correct... I wouldn't mind mind being done with it, but I do want it to be right! I am glad so many people find interest in the project, and hope it has been an inspiration for some to build bigger and better projects of their own! Very perceptive of you about church... I've spent years teaching, that is a passion that I have always had! Not sure how you picked up on that.... LOL! Been very tempted to try this out (in my driveway), throw in some pillows and a few blankets and just get comfortable, but that would spoil my adventure! HA! Thank you for tagging along.... this has been very enjoyable for me, I love this kind of stuff! Cheers!
I like that switch bank and looks professional, I might just have to do that in my teardrop camper
Looking forward to seeing your trailer come together!
Thanks Al, I enjoyed everyone of your build videos,I will try to learn from them when I get started on my one in the spring. I will not be as fancy as yours though.
Thanks George! I've seen your work... your build will be great!! :)

Thank you sir!!
What is your opinion of Filon RV siding instead of aluminum?
They both have their pros and cons, I like both. I only chose the aluminum because it was easier to install. I guess it really depends what you want it to look like when finished. Some look good with aluminum, some look better with filon. I think I will try the filon on my next project. I'll have a lot less "dings" in the filon than the aluminum as I travel! Cheers!
Greetings, can you recommend a wire terminal crimp tool? I have several of these tools but never seem to get the proper crimp on the wire/terminal.
There are two that I can speak of, only because I own them, the first (and better) is the Ratcheting Crimping Tool. Costs between $25 and $75 (depending on brand). They do make a cheaper version. The second type (I use most) can be found in local hardware stores for about $12 to $20. Here is a link for one similar to what I have. Hope this helps. Cheers!

OK, thanks, I do have a tool similar to the Channellock, perhaps I need to do some practice crimping to perfect a good crimp.
I used the high heat connectors which are made of kryptonite or something.... had to squeeze hard enough to make me pass out! LOL!
I'd like to send you an email message. Can you provide an email address to roncassidy@comcast.net
done
I need a set of those for the Tiny House... do those come with the install guy? 🙂❤️🙌🏻
