I have preached of how many preachers use Malachi 3:10-12 as a way to extort money from the people and use it as a scare tactic regarding the verse about the curse for robbing GOD. But I got silenced and blocked from preaching anymore. I said many preachers are too lazy or scared to go before GOD and ask what GOD wants for HIS people like GOD told Moses to build the Tabernacle. GOD told Moses to build it, he didn't come up with that idea himself, it was GOD'S own command. When GOD gives the plan as the Scripture declared of the people the "stuff they gave or brought was enough and TOO MUCH. Thanks again.
Tithes, offerings given to church's so they may tend "their" flock....most churches don't realize, the "neighborhood" around "that" church's vicinity are under "your" jurisdiction ....that money is to help pay bills and rebuild, clothe/feed, "that" neighborhood,where it presides!...taking money from that neighborhood, "elsewhere", is no better than a spiritual "drug" dealer....."clean up the neighborhood "money !

I had to come on here! Had to, compelled by God to tell my story. I like you got caught up in these fake churches, false prophets, fake preachers, the whole kitten ka boodle! You are not alone. I got taken on the false teaching of tithes and offerings. Then one day I actually sat down and read the entire book of Malachi for myself and boy oh boy was I angry at the false preachers on tithes! Tithes was food for the priests and widows and orphans. Never money. God was angry at the Priests because they started accepted lame, sick blind animals for sacrifice for sins. God was mad at the priests, even says so if you bother to read the entire book of Malachi. After my husband and I gave all our money in tithes the church people laughed at us and called us stupid to our faces. We had been told our son would be healed from cystic fibrosis if we tithed. We learned the hard way after going broke. Read your bible for yourselves and quit being brain washed by money hungry preachers that don't even hold down a job! Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, Galatians @ & 14! We are not cursed if we don't give money to the church. Again read your bible! Another thing I have to expose, is the false prophets. I had an encounter one on one with Katherine Ruonala, she was invited to the church I attended. I had been told to come expecting a miracle. Especially for those deaf! Well before the service even started she came and sat down next to me in a chair on my right. That is important. Why? Because I am completely totally fried in my right ear, 100 percent deaf, so I can't even wear a hearing aid along with debilitating tinnitus!! So Katherine Ruonala so called Prophetess, LOL leans into my right ear and starts speaking away! LOL! Joke was on her! So the woman sitting on my left side my good ear says to me, "Why aren't you happy!?!?!? You should be all excited and over joyed at the wonderous things Katherine is prophesying to you?!?!?" I said to the woman that I had never met in my life before, "She is FAKE!!! IF God had sent her to talk to me HE would have bothered to tell her I can't hear a single thing out of my deaf right ear!!!!!!" I was there to receive a miracle healing. This woman now goes over all over the world welcomed by churches. she lives in a mansion! Yes it took me 30 years to come out of this awful deception. Jesus is real. I had a real encounter with him and I am saved by him. I love him. People please for the love of God wake up!

My ex-pastor (female) said if you have to pay your mortgage and you have to pay tithes, pay the tithes and trust God for the mortgage. I paid the mortgage and thanked God for the roof over my family’s head.

I have a friend that's was thrown out of a church that he was a member of for years, because he himself was not tithing but his wife was, it was his money she was putting in the plate, he was told either tithe or leave the church, then he was accused of hitting mama bear (the preachers wife, she is refered to as mama bear).

I love listening to pastor Jennings, he always tells the real truth. Can anyone tell me if he has a sermon on paying tithes? I don’t have a home church, I used to but I’ve become stricken with the worse form of lupus (SLE), almost passed away but God held me close to his heart, and still is and I want to know abt tithing. I don’t want to go to hell for robbing God.
