- This 7th Day Adventist Pastor Michael Evans thinks he can outsmart Apostle Pastor Gino Jennings. He started by accusing Jennings of blaspheme. Truth of God did not let his flip flop get away with it. At the end he ended up he was the one who blaspheme. A heated debate.
We fight over things that only God understands....and if we do understand 💯....God made the Sabbath for man not God...for us to rest not God...God is NEVER tired...it was an order to give man order, but Jesus came to fulfill the law, and he knew that Grace will be given for many things that we have made fault....such as what is Sabbath day....Saturday or Sunday...lol
As a mature man of God...I've learned to make everyday Holy...

God's loves were fulfilled in Jesus. Jesus came to live the Law by example. It was His custom to preach, teach, heal and do good works on Sabbath. He never breaks the Sabbath rituals by doing anything to dishonor His Heavenly Father. The Law of God is about Love. The Law of God and its purposes: The first 4 are about our love for God and the last 6 are about our love for our family and fellow men. The Sabbath was created for man and the Son of man is The Lord of the Sabbath. It means that He is the Creator of all things, including us and the 7th Day Sabbath. Throughout history, there was never a time or on any record that mentioned the changes of the day of worship. God never changed so like His Word. Jesus is our great example. The first book of the Bible mentions how God honored His creation by resting on the 7th day. At the end of the Bible, it also mentioned that we will still celebrate Sabbath on the New Earth. So, while the term “Sabbath” may not appear in Revelation, its principles remain relevant and significant for believers. Genesis 2:2-3; Isaiah 66:22-23; Revelation 1:10
Sister or Brother, Did God ask YOU or US to MAKE the Day Holy? That is also a LIE. Because No MAN was ask to MAKE the DAY HOLY. What we are ask to do is to KEEP the SABBATH DAY HOLY; by being OBEDIENT to GOD; and NOT DOING any Secular or servile WORK.
But on the SABBATH DAY, we must be obedient by KEEPING HOLY Convocation; which mean NOT forsa- king the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.
That is why the apostle Paul and some of the other Disciples, and even other People who heard his preaching and was convicted and con- vinced joined with them, and KEPT 84 Sabbaths; in that year and six months what they spent in Corinth, as we are told in Acts ch 13: vs 14, 44; ch 16: vs 13. ch17: vs 2. & ch 18: vs 4, 11. This is what is the TRUTH, and what is Bible, chapter and verse. Amen? Amen.

I agree the law change when jesus came sabbath was very serious in mosesectic law.
That is true, but instead of using the word stop, they Bible said he rested many the same thing, he wanted those Israelites to do the same thing under the Law, stop working on the seventh day they would be punished badly for doing that even their life, it was serious thing to do when the Law was given to them, we are not under the Law Jesus came and that was over he for filled the Law.

When God said "Remember" He said so because God had intimated them about it in Exodus 16:23,25. The giving of the Sabbath to the Jews came before the giving of the ten commandments. Again, God clear specify what the Sabbath was. It was not a moral law like te rest of the nine commandments. It was a sign between him and Israel. It was not a moral law but a sign and a covenant between Him and Israel. I, a gentile dog who before the coming of Christ had no such covenant relationship with God. I came in through Christ into a better relationship with God. No where in the new testaments is a single admonition to keep the sabbath.

Our Lord Jesus kept the Sabbath as He was under the law and needed to follow and fulfill it. Read the Book of Acts of the Apostles and you will see how the Apostles later met on the Lord's day, Sunday. The Book of Galatians will also show you. The Judaizers met on Saturday and the modern Judaizers still meet on Saturdays.

I accidentally stumbled upon pastor Jennings several months ago, and has followed his posted messages since. Although I agree that we (God’s children and followers) should follow the scriptures, what I have noticed is that pastor Jennings doesn’t allow those he’s “battling” to speak or get their point across.
When coming to a biblical debate, come with the bible only, if not then shut up, repent and move on, not your own opinion or your own wisdom or philosophy or theology or men's knowledge, only the bible.

This is the very reason we should read our word and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us all things. God gives us clarity and won't allow His people to be ignorant. It's great that we have good leaders but do your own reading because we are spending time with God and He speaks to us at that time. Also many church leaders don't teach about the whole book of Revelations because of the difference in understanding. In all our getting we are to get understanding.

The ceremonial sabbaths like Yon Kippur, Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Firstfruits, Passover were shadows, not God's cemented weekly Sabbath. The Bible says we will even be observing it in the new earth:

Brother you justify breaking God's Law so you might as well steal, committ adultery, and bear false witness because the Bible clearly says that if you offend in one point, you are guilty of all (James 2:10). There is no half stepping with God. The Sabbath did not come into effect when Moses came on the scene. It had been kept from creation. Please read (Mark 2:27) again. The Greek word for man in the verse is anthropos or mankind not just Jew. That's very clear, Brother. In fact, the very definition of sin is lawlessness, specifying that God's Law, including the Sabbath, has always been, and it will forever be. Otherwise, sin would not exist. That's clear when you read 1 John 3:4 that sin is lawlessness or the "transgression of the law." It's clear what law is being spoken of when you read the context also. Christ never did away with the decalogue part of the law, including the Sabbath, which is clearly a part of it. That's why He clearly said in the same sermon on the mount that you tried to use to disprove the Sabbath commandment to "think not that I have come to destroy the law or the prophets..." (Matt 5:17). The context clearly shows that he was speaking of the decalogue or ALL ten of the commandment, the Sabbath included. There is no such thing as keeping only 9 of them.

Let us also note, the 7th day Sabbath was made BEFORE sin entered the garden. Sabbath was a part of God's eternal plan, and we will Sabbath on the New Earth (Isaiah 66:22-23). Made for "man" did not mean just 1 type of culture or group, but it was for ALL humanity.
This is key. The Sabbath existed before sin entered. Everything that was nailed to the cross was brought in after sin and was to deal with the sin problem until Christ fulfilled His earthly mission. One of the things that people do not contemplate is this: why did God not allow Moses to write the ten commandments. When Moses came down from the mountain and broke the tablets on which the commandments were written, why did God not allow him to rewrite them? He had to go back up the mountain for God to rewrite them with His own finger. If people would think about this, they would not question the 7th day Sabbath. God allowed Moses to write the ceremonial laws, written on parchment. The ten commandments were inscribed on rock.

Why is it that in verse 4. Speaks of the Seventh day Sabbath is being identified as God's day that He rested, Genesis 2: 3

There is nothing in the scriptures that give any indication that Jesus or the Father is now disregarding the Seventh-day Sabbath. The day that he rested, blessed, made Holy, and instructing us to do as He did

I do rest / trust in JESUS. I worship Him every single day. However, JESUS hasn't taken away the burden of working a job that I have to have to buy my essentials and pay bills. I have to be able to rest from all the common, ordinary, every day tasks.
I grew up participating in many different sports. I was told by all my coaches, several decades ago, that I have to give my body a day of rest. Why? Because if not, we break down. It causes injury or illness.
There's a day of rest that mankind has known about for millennium. It's not a day we can choose. The entire New Testament depicts they kept the Sabbath. We can have church every single day, but there is still the one day that was set apart for rest. It is the day that was the only day given a name, and that is the Sabbath Day. All the other days were given general titles: First Day of the week, Second Day of the week, and so forth.
