And Jesus didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill it.Jesus and His disciples kept the Sabbath day holy and as His custom was Jesus went to the temple to worship every Seventh day (Sabbath) When Constantine changed the Sabbath AD321to Sunday he didn't get authority from God he did it so that he continue to worship his sun god Tammuz and the queen of heaven Mary Marguella
Our Lord Jesus kept the Sabbath as He was under the law and needed to follow and fulfill it. Read the Book of Acts of the Apostles and you will see how the Apostles later met on the Lord's day, Sunday. The Book of Galatians will also show you. The Judaizers met on Saturday and the modern Judaizers still meet on Saturdays.
I only accept that if Jesus Christ had not come. If you believe in Jesus Christ then you should understand the old testament is for our study and new testament is from Jesus the Son of God and God himself died and rise up on the day to fulfill His love for mankind for whom that believe in him (new testament shall be saved and not perish).

We fight over things that only God understands....and if we do understand 💯....God made the Sabbath for man not God...for us to rest not God...God is NEVER tired...it was an order to give man order, but Jesus came to fulfill the law, and he knew that Grace will be given for many things that we have made fault....such as what is Sabbath day....Saturday or Sunday...lol As a mature man of God...I've learned to make everyday Holy... If you disagree...pray for me ..for God will teach us all in his own time
God's loves were fulfilled in Jesus. Jesus came to live the Law by example. It was His custom to preach, teach, heal and do good works on Sabbath. He never breaks the Sabbath rituals by doing anything to dishonor His Heavenly Father. The Law of God is about Love. The Law of God and its purposes: The first 4 are about our love for God and the last 6 are about our love for our family and fellow men. The Sabbath was created for man and the Son of man is The Lord of the Sabbath. It means that He is the Creator of all things, including us and the 7th Day Sabbath. Throughout history, there was never a time or on any record that mentioned the changes of the day of worship. God never changed so like His Word. Jesus is our great example. The first book of the Bible mentions how God honored His creation by resting on the 7th day. At the end of the Bible, it also mentioned that we will still celebrate Sabbath on the New Earth. So, while the term “Sabbath” may not appear in Revelation, its principles remain relevant and significant for believers. Genesis 2:2-3; Isaiah 66:22-23; Revelation 1:10
Sister or Brother, Did God ask YOU or US to MAKE the Day Holy? That is also a LIE. Because No MAN was ask to MAKE the DAY HOLY. What we are ask to do is to KEEP the SABBATH DAY HOLY; by being OBEDIENT to GOD; and NOT DOING any Secular or servile WORK. But on the SABBATH DAY, we must be obedient by KEEPING HOLY Convocation; which mean NOT forsa- king the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is. That is why the apostle Paul and some of the other Disciples, and even other People who heard his preaching and was convicted and con- vinced joined with them, and KEPT 84 Sabbaths; in that year and six months what they spent in Corinth, as we are told in Acts ch 13: vs 14, 44; ch 16: vs 13. ch17: vs 2. & ch 18: vs 4, 11. This is what is the TRUTH, and what is Bible, chapter and verse. Amen? Amen.
That is true, but instead of using the word stop, they Bible said he rested many the same thing, he wanted those Israelites to do the same thing under the Law, stop working on the seventh day they would be punished badly for doing that even their life, it was serious thing to do when the Law was given to them, we are not under the Law Jesus came and that was over he for filled the Law.
The One in the 10 commandments that God said "Remember " is the one Pastors ,Bishop,Evengelist etc etc.. Forgets! We ought to Obey God rather than man for God never change as His words never change. Remember the 7th day Sabbath to keep Holy. That is Final no matter what a preachers says God's word supersede man's word.🙏PNG🇵🇬
When God said "Remember" He said so because God had intimated them about it in Exodus 16:23,25. The giving of the Sabbath to the Jews came before the giving of the ten commandments. Again, God clear specify what the Sabbath was. It was not a moral law like te rest of the nine commandments. It was a sign between him and Israel. It was not a moral law but a sign and a covenant between Him and Israel. I, a gentile dog who before the coming of Christ had no such covenant relationship with God. I came in through Christ into a better relationship with God. No where in the new testaments is a single admonition to keep the sabbath.

Our God is a God of intentions and sees hearts. If it is needful it becomes lawful. The sabbath is indeed the seventh day, yet Jesus picked corn on the Sabbath in front of the Pharisees. If we read the Bible David was given the shewbread to eat and the sword of Goliath too. It’s just like when a man steals for greed and evil, and when a a man steals for his family to eat because he was asking and pleading for a job and didn’t receive one. Our Heavenly Father judges hearts not rituals. Rituals are sending these false Christians to hell!

Perhaps you should spend more time reading your Bible, because if you did you would have known that Christ Jesus BROKE the Sabbath. The Truth of the scriptures is that “not only had He [ Christ] broken the Sabbath, but he claimed that God was His Father…” and He tells us Himself that, like the priests of the tribe of Levi, he had ‘profaned the sabbath and was guiltless’. According to you, GOD IS A LIAR!!!!! ----What does John 5:18 mean? The Gospel of John often uses the Greek term Ioudaioi, which is translated as "the Jews." As John uses it, the word refers to the religious leaders of Jerusalem. This includes the Pharisees, Sadducees, and temple scribes. The Pharisees, in particular, were known for their legalism and traditions. These added-on rules were part of their interpretation of the law of Moses. Jesus, knowing that their approach to the Law was cold and hypocritical, often deliberately provoked these men over their errors (Luke 13:10-17; Matthew 12:9-14). According to John 5:16, the mere fact that Jesus was breaking traditional views of the Sabbath was enough to earn their persecution. In verse 17, Jesus raises the stakes even further. He claims not only that God is His Father, but that the work He is doing is equivalent to the work done by God. The religious leaders, in particular, understand exactly what that implies. Jesus is telling other people that He is God. If that's not true, it's blasphemy, and this adds to the hatred He receives from the Pharisees. Contrary to common suggestion, Jesus does in fact claim divinity in many New Testament texts. This verse shows that Jesus and the disciples are not the only ones who grasp His meaning. --THere was NO problem in keeping the Sabbath! @@mitchellosmer1293 Quoting Matthew 3:13, 16-17 and then saying that according to me God is a liar smacks heavily of a straw man fallacy wherein you are putting words into my mouth, misrepresenting my position when clearly, I've made no such argument. When Christ was baptized by John, He was no longer a child. In Matthew 12 Christ, who was of the tribe of Judah and was neither a priest nor a Levite, openly confessed to “doing that which was unlawful for him to do” and “profaning the Sabbath” simply because “In this place is one greater than the temple, [ and] the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day”. Christ made no appeal to the law of Moses to justify the actions of His disciples. There is not one word about properly obeying the commandments concerning the Sabbath here at all. I refer you to Matthew 12:1-8. Then, we are plainly told by the Holy Spirit that Christ “had broken the Sabbath [ and] said that God was His Father”: John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work [ on the Sabbath]. Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. The Holy Spirit did not inspire the apostle to tell us "They thought He had broken the Sabbath." We are rather told that His Father works on the Sabbath, and Christ did too, and therefore the Jews sought to kill Him. Those who are given "eyes that see" will notice that the apostle John never refers to the Jewish festivals as the festivals of God. He actually goes to great lengths to distance himself from that entire economy by calling them “a feast of the Jews” or “the Jews feast…” John 5:1; John 6:4 and John 7:2 refer. Christ’s example to the Pharisees was one of law breaking, not law observance. Actually, David committed a serious infraction of the law of God. He and his companions entered the Tabernacle of God (and if this entry was into the Holy Place, even that entry was illegal). They also unlawfully ate the consecrated bread. David even committed this sin on the Sabbath day itself. Compare 1 Samuel 21:6 with Leviticus 24:8. This is one of the reasons Christ used David’s example of lawbreaking in defense for His own disciples when they also violated the Sabbath rules. Christ was telling the Pharisees that since David had broken the law on the Sabbath and without retribution, His disciples also had permission from Him to break the Sabbath law. David broke Temple laws, but Christ said, “In this place is one greater than the Temple” (Matthew 12:6). Christ was the One who created the Temple and the Sabbath in the first place. He was the One who formerly allowed David to break the Temple and Sabbath laws. And now Christ was commanding His disciples also to break the Sabbath laws. “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” (verse 8). The Sabbath belonged to Christ. He was its Lord and could do with the Sabbath as He pleased. If Christ was the Son of God on earth (which He was), no one could hold Him accountable for doing with His own creation as He wished. To further strengthen His case, Christ said: “Have you not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the Temple profane the Sabbath and are blameless.” Matthew 12:5 Christ taught that the priests profaned the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments, not that they profaned the ritualistic Sabbath of Moses with their physical ceremonies at the altar. The Ten Commandments clearly demanded all people to rest. The command in the Decalogue was all-inclusive, without exception. But the priests were allowed to break that Commandment law in order to perform rituals in the Temple. Indeed, the priests worked more on the Sabbaths than on ordinary weekdays because the sacrifices were doubled on those days (Numbers 28:9-10).

What i see is one pastor who knows the bible and the other doesnt. If you are saying Pastor Gino Jennings is prideful im sorry but he is not, thats always his tone. God sent him to save our souls and get rid of our spiritual pride
Gino Jennings is a heathen prideful pastor! That's it! He's not like The Messiah. The Messiah kept the Sabbath and it's perpetual. You wouldn't know that cause you listen to a man and not the "WORD"
Sunday was another work day in the Roman Empire. On March 7, 321, however, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor, stating: All judges and city people and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun.
The bible says where is our boasting save in faith. And faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If you know you know and if you don't know you don't know
God is eternal, that's why Jesus christ said I am the lord even of the sabbath day,it's not about a day today, it's spiritual through Jesus christ, the sabbath day.
Let us also note, the 7th day Sabbath was made BEFORE sin entered the garden. Sabbath was a part of God's eternal plan, and we will Sabbath on the New Earth (Isaiah 66:22-23). Made for "man" did not mean just 1 type of culture or group, but it was for ALL humanity.
This is key. The Sabbath existed before sin entered. Everything that was nailed to the cross was brought in after sin and was to deal with the sin problem until Christ fulfilled His earthly mission. No wonder they are trying to get rid of marriage between a man and a woman. It was instituted before sin and cannot be put aside
One of the things that people do not contemplate is this: why did God not allow Moses to write the ten commandments. When Moses came down from the mountain and broke the tablets on which the commandments were written, why did God not allow him to rewrite them? He had to go back up the mountain for God to rewrite them with His own finger. If people would think about this, they would not question the 7th day Sabbath. God allowed Moses to write the ceremonial laws, written on parchment. The ten commandments were inscribed on rock.
@diaskent829 great point! I always have said the 10 commandments are the ONLY thing God wrote with His very finger, so they are important. I'll have to remember what you said, too, and tell people that as well. Thank you!
I would love to see Doug Bachelor, Dwayne Lemon, with Gino … in a neutral place to speak on the Sabbath, who made Sunday the sabbath? Trying to find out?
Gino is deceived by the three unclean spirits like frogs that comes out of the mouth of the beast the dragon, and the false prophet's which r the spirit of demons, that work miracles that goes out into the world to gather them together to the great day of God Almighty. Mercy
If Pastor Gino Jennings ever comes to Ohio,or Michigan, I'm going to be sitting in the front row, listening to his teaching, and preaching, because he broke down the scriptures and helped you understand what the scriptures are saying. I've been with the Lord for 58 years I'm 62 now and I have never heard the word preach like this before. I wish Pastor Jennings was my pastor way back then, and now. If I had the money I would move there and join his church. I tell a lot of people about Gino Jennings. He is one of God's earthling vessels. He draped in the spirit of the Lord.
God made the Sabbath day not pastor Gino - or the Romans. God said the seventh day. God said pork is unclean. I don't want to eat it. I chose to fellow God. Men are making it harder.

Michael Evans needed to stick to his point because Jennings was trying to confused him. Our God is the God of the Sabbath, the God of Creation, the Bible is written so us the human beings can understand it. Unless you are a true Seventh Day Adventist you will never understand the Sabbath rest. The Bible says God is a Spirit and we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
I have a great respect for pastor Jennings. I am amazed that he is blinded about the truth of The Seventh Day Sabbath. Christ said not 1 thing shall change in the Law (moral law: Commandments) Those who don't do it and teach others not to keep his status are condemned to Hell. Christ observed The Sabbath. He went into the Sanctuary on the 7th day Sabbath and read the Holy Scriptures. It's sad that the men of God in Jamaica didn't have Scriptures prepared to defend the truth and correct our dear brother openly. Pastor Jennings was correct in telling him to stop talking and show me in The Scriptures ! Study to show they self approved. I love you man of God! And if you're reading this pastor Jennings, I'm praying for you. Just like Saul before he became Paul, Christ wants to continue to do a mighty work in you. However, there is still room for refining. The 4th Commandment.. Remember (put back together) The Sabbath Day to keep it Holy🙏🏿💯 The spirit will remove the scales from your eyes in that regard. Other wise I have absolutely absolutely NO challenge with your understanding or teaching. I am actually very encouraged to hear someone speak who uses the Bible to speak for him.
Gino said that God's works which He rested from is different from God's. He forgot that when God said : Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy, that God gave His reason. Gino is stretching the point about the blasphemy to get his thoughts together

Where does the Bible say that we are to into a new rest? Inter into His rest WHAT IS GOD'S REST Hebrews 4:1-11 (KJV) 1. Let us therefore FEAR, lest, a promise being left us of ENTERING INTO HIS REST, any of you should seem to COME SHORT OF IT. 2. For unto us was the gospel preached, AS WELL AS UNTO THEM: but THE WORD PREACHED did not PROFIT THEM, NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH in them that heard it. 3. FOR WE which have BELIEVED DO ENTER INTO REST, AS HE SAID, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into MY REST: although the WORKS WERE FINISHED from the FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. (CREATION) 4. For he spake in a certain place OF THE SEVENTH DAY on this wise, And GOD DID REST THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS. 5. And in this place again, If they shall ENTER INTO MY REST. WHAT IS GOD'S DAY OF REST? (Genesis 2:2 (KJV) And on THE SEVENTH DAY GOD ended his work which he had made; AND HE RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made. 6. SEEING THEREFORE IT REMAINETH THAT SOME MUST ENTER THEREIN, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF: 7. AGAIN, HE LIMITETH A CERTAIN DAY, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, TO DAY IF YE WILL HEAR HIS VOICE, HARDEN NOT YOUR HEARTS. 8. FOR if JESUS HAD GIVEN THEM REST, THEN WOULD HE NOT AFTERWARD HAVE SPOKEN OF ANOTHER DAY. Why is it that in verse 4. Speaks of the Seventh day Sabbath is being identified as God's day that He rested, Genesis 2: 3 GOD BLESSED the SEVENTH DAY, and SANCTIFIED IT: "SANCTIFIED IS TO MAKE HOLY, TO SET APART" and in verse 6. He is instructing that some must inter in because of their unbelief. 9. There REMAINETH therefore a REST TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD. 10. For he that is entered INTO HIS REST, "What is His rest? The Seventh day Sabbath" also hath ceased from his own works, AS GOD DID FROM HIS. 11. Let us labour therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST, LEST ANY MAN FALL AFTER THE SAME EXAMPLE OF UNBELIEF. There is nothing in the scriptures that give any indication that Jesus or the Father is now disregarding the Seventh-day Sabbath. The day that he rested, blessed, made Holy, and instructing us to do as He did to that Jesus is our rest. The danger is this, verse 11. If we do not labour therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST, LEST ANY MAN FALL AFTER THE SAME EXAMPLE OF UNBELIEF.

I do rest / trust in JESUS. I worship Him every single day. However, JESUS hasn't taken away the burden of working a job that I have to have to buy my essentials and pay bills. I have to be able to rest from all the common, ordinary, every day tasks. I grew up participating in many different sports. I was told by all my coaches, several decades ago, that I have to give my body a day of rest. Why? Because if not, we break down. It causes injury or illness. There's a day of rest that mankind has known about for millennium. It's not a day we can choose. The entire New Testament depicts they kept the Sabbath. We can have church every single day, but there is still the one day that was set apart for rest. It is the day that was the only day given a name, and that is the Sabbath Day. All the other days were given general titles: First Day of the week, Second Day of the week, and so forth.
The ten commands are the path to the haven. We must obey it. There are a differents between the works form people for themselves and for God. The people must work ses day in the a week and the 7th day is a holy day and they must do holy work for God. TO PRIEST THE WOORD. YOU MUST OBEY AMEN.

Pastor Gino needs to eat humble pie and allow God’s Holy Spirit to help him understand the truth of the sabbath so he can teach his congregation the truth.
God dose not put his blessings on lies, and falsehood and disobedient. God said he gave his holy spirit to only those who OBEY HIM. IF YOU DISREGARD GODS TEN COMMANDMENTS LAW WHICH IS HIS ' WILL" YOU ARE DISOBEDIENT AND OUT OF HIS WILL.
No blessing for gino leading the sheep down this false spiritual rabbit hole. Only the truth can make u free from sin, sin is the breaking of God's moral law which is the ten commandments, if you broke one you broke all. So said , James chapter 2 verse 10.
i literally just read in 1 timothy chapter 6 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. He is proud, knowing nothing: This describes those who misuse God’s Word. Yet, as all the proud, they don’t see or admit to their lack of knowledge. And, like most proud people, they are able to convince others that they are experts in God’s truth, when they actually misuse it. i. To not allow God’s Word to speak for itself - to put your own “spin” on it as modern politicians and public relations people do - is the worst kind of pride. It shows someone has more confidence in their own wisdom and opinions than in the straightforward truth of God. Surely, these proud people are those knowing nothing.
As a Baptized seventh-day Adventist and I had the same question about pastors working on the Sabbath, since part of the tithes goes to them, even employing a cab driver or even getting the public trans, we are still employing a person to work on the Sabbath, I love the fundamentals of the Seventh teaching, however the 7th day is for rest from all works. I am just saying.
when you paying a cab driver to go to church you are not working sir and bringing money into the church to pay tithes which after the pastors get paid is not working either the pastors are doing what is helping to save people lives by saving their souls thats doing good the church is an Hospital for the sin sick souls who need to be saved
Jesus taught on the Sabbath in His day so what's the difference with pastors preaching today? Pastors are given a salary and it's not based on what they do in Sabbath.
Know the difference between holy work and common work. Jesus didn’t not do carpentry on sabbath but He work for the building of HIS church spiritually.
It's how we read and understand the word. Remember, when, christ, said it was okay to pluck the corn to feed the hungry? The sabbath is to do good and glorify God, focusing on God. So if getting a man to carry him to church, it's not necessarily employing someone. The tithes are used to pay them yes, and to do more than pay them, God said the house needs to be replenished...

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 2ND. COMMANDMENT 4. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 3RD. COMMANDMENT 7. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 4TH. COMMANDMENT 8. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 6TH COMMANDMENT 13. Thou shalt not kill. 7TH. COMMANDMENT 14. Thou shalt not commit adultery. 8TH. COMMANDMENT 15. Thou shalt not steal. 9TH. COMMANDMENT 16. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 10TH. COMMANDMENT 17. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. I pray that this helps

There is a reason why God said “remember “the Sabbath Day” simply because he knew that that would be the one day that man, but choose to “forget“.

Amen? Amen.

The first day of the Hebrew week is Sunday, which is Yom rishon in Hebrew, meaning "first day". The Hebrew week has seven days, mirroring the seven days of the Book of Genesis, and ends on Saturday, which is cErev shabbat, meaning "eve of Sabbath". The other days of the week are named after their order, with the exception of Shabbat. For example, Yom shani means "second day", Yom shlishi means "third day", Yom reveci means "fourth day", Yom khamshi means "fifth day", Yom shishi means "sixth day", and Yom ha-shabbat means "day of Sabbath".

The Hebrew week (שבוע, shavua) is a cycle of seven days, mirroring the seven-day period of the Book of Genesis in which the world is created. The names for the days of the week are simply the day number within the week. The week begins with Day 1 (Sunday) and ends with Shabbat (Saturday).

He is bold just like our pastor, but he is telling the truth. Only those who want to learn the Bible by themselves are the ones that are lost. God gives us spiritual discernment, and the Holy Ghost agrees with the truth. People cones against the truth, just like in the Bible days. I am sure if anyone can prove Pastor Jennings wrong, he will say that he is wrong. If you are full of the Holy Ghost and you disagree with him I can understand that you may not agree with him and you can correct his mistake, but if you are not Holy Ghost filled then you should not say bad things that you know nothing about. Sorry, but Pastor Jennings went on to explain to this man pure and simple the truth.

Yes Apostle Gino Jennings is 100% correct.
Isaiah 58:13-14 KJV
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Even I who don’t read the Bible that often know that scripture doesn’t mean Jesus broke the Sabbath. He was being accused of doing it because he was healing people. When he had to tell them it’s valuable to do good on the Sabbath.
This is basic stuff.
This pastor is a slickster and too pompous.
This whole thing became about him and not The Word.
John 5:18; Matthew 12:5-7

Who created the Sabbath? Who is LORD of the Sabbath?? JESUS!!!! HE MAKES THE RULES!! NOT MAN!!!
“And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:13, 16-17).

5 Or haven’t you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? 6 I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. 7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.
NO WHERE does Jesus say HE disobeyed the Sabbath!!!! The penality for disobeying it was DEATH by stoneing!!!

Then, we are plainly told by the Holy Spirit that Christ “had broken the Sabbath [ and] said that God was His Father”:
John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work [ on the Sabbath].
To further strengthen His case, Christ said:
“Have you not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the Temple profane the Sabbath and are blameless.” Matthew 12:5
Christ taught that the priests profaned the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments, not that they profaned the ritualistic Sabbath of Moses with their physical ceremonies at the altar.

Thank you!

There's a day of rest that mankind has known about for millennium. It's not a day we can choose. The entire New Testament depicts they kept the Sabbath. We can have church every single day, but there is still the one day that was set apart for rest. It is the day that was the only day given a name, and that is the Sabbath Day. Question: where in the Bible does it say that Jesus is our Sabbath?
Everything in OT was pointing to christ. As you read your Bible read with mindset of christ not your own understanding.
Exactly in Him we find we found REST not in a day😅.
Jesus said that he is lord of the sabbath . “The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?”
Luke 13:15 KJV /. “And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.”
John 9:14 KJV. / “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 KJV. “therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.”
Mark 2:28 KJV. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 KJV. That’s just a few I can find more that says Jesus Christ is our sabbath and that we should find rest in him daily not just one day but every day is the day of the lord for he has made every
Pastor Michael , you have it right !🙏🏿
1 PETER 2:21 Jesus give us an example that we should follow his footsteps
Yes! JESUS was our primary example of how we ought to live, how to pray, etc. He kept The Sabbath Day. GOD, Who neither sleeps nor slumbers, doesn't need a day of rest. But, He established the Sabbath Day for us as a gift to us. We human beings do need a day of rest. Secular scientists have even found in our DNA that we are wired for a day of rest. We live in fleshly bodies that need rest and to primarily focus on GOD. I worship GOD every single day. However, I observe the Sabbath Day and block out any type of common every day work. I attend church and then come home to rest, study The Word of GOD, and spend time with family. It is wonderful! Truly a gift from GOD! ❤

Yes he needs to allow him to speak
As a Baptized seventh-day Adventist and I had the same question about pastors working on the Sabbath, since part of the tithes goes to them, even employing a cab driver or even getting the public trans, we are still employing a person to work on the Sabbath, I love the fundamentals of the Seventh teaching, however the 7th day is for rest from all works. I am just saying.
Jesus taught every sabbath as was his custom
when you paying a cab driver to go to church you are not working sir and bringing money into the church to pay tithes which after the pastors get paid is not working either the pastors are doing what is helping to save people lives by saving their souls thats doing good the church is an Hospital for the sin sick souls who need to be saved
God rested from physical work, not the work of righteousness and goodness.
" Remember the sabbath day to keep holy. Six days shalt thou labor and do all of your work, but seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord, your God. In it thou shalt not do any work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thou manservant, nor thou maidservant, nor thou cattle, nor the stranger that is within your gate. For in six days the Lord made the heaven and earth and seventh day He hollowed it".

No his teaching is flawed, he reject God's commandments, to the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them (Isaiah 8:20 ) if there's no light then it's darkness, that's mr Jennings 😉
Whenever I listen to this it's hurting to truly believers in God almighty because almost all comments are praising their pastor instead of God almighty. Everyone deserves respect but praising is and will always belongs to God almighty.
Pastor Jennings has no biblical grounds. He's all over the place
Jesus himself kept the Sabbath
Jesus also never needed to remind his disciples of the Sabbath. The Sabbath was never in question.
Why did you challenge this man who twisted everything and not fully prepared with the scriptures he makes you looks like a fool
U too notice that.

I applaud Pastor Jennings' efforts and ARGUMENTS certainly are worth while to take a look at; however a Master of debate will allow his appointment to state their talking points of view [without] interruption.
Surely the Lord chuckles from above. Awesome

The commandments are divided into 2 parts. Love for God and love for man.
Please explain
THE COMMANDMENTS ARE DEVIDED INTO TWO PARTS
Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV)
37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38. This is the first and great commandment.
39. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
LOOK AT VERSE 40
40. ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.
Let's look at God's Ten Commandments
• God wrote the Ten Commandments on two Tables of Stone.
Exodus 31:18 (KJV) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, TWO TABLES OF TESTIMONY, TABLES OF STONE, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF GOD.
How is God's Ten Commandments divided?
The first four of Gods Ten commandments relates to our relationship with God.
Exodus 20:3-11 (KJV)
1ST. COMMANDMENT
3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2ND. COMMANDMENT
4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
3RD. COMMANDMENT
7. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4TH. COMMANDMENT
8. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
The last six of God's ten commandments relates to man's relationship with one another.
Exodus 20:12-17 (KJV)
5TH. COMMANDMENT
12. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
6TH COMMANDMENT
13. Thou shalt not kill.
7TH. COMMANDMENT
14. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8TH. COMMANDMENT
15. Thou shalt not steal.
9TH. COMMANDMENT
16. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10TH. COMMANDMENT
17. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
I pray that this helps

The first 4 deal with loving God. If you love God you will not worship idols, you will not call God’s name in vain and you will keep the sabbath day holy.
If you love your neighbor you will not kill him/ her, will not steal from them, sleep with his wife or her husband, lie on him not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Jesus did make a summary of the 10 commandments when He said love the Lord Thy God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself.
OK thank you

Much of the sorrow and distress that is afflicting and will continue to afflict man kind is traceable to the fact that they have ignored God's admonition to keep the Sabbath Day Holy.
