Great review mate. Just started looking around to get an idea of what to look for and yours was the first one I clicked on. Glad I did too. Thought I'd start at the bottom of scopes and work my up and our review helped heaps. So thanks for that. Hope you don't mind if I throw you a question every now and then after watching your vids if that's ok?

A few queries? Doesn’t this have the ‘trajectory’ option on menu like te models? Confusing, but I thought that was the mode you talked about for zeroing. Field of view talk? Also, was magnification that you were playing with the digital zoom? Did you try zooming with optical zoom on scope with just 2x (base magnification) on thermal? I zoomed in on te25 with optical scopes zoom and actually found the image remained pretty good. (Also, you mentioned base mag orphan 2 is no good at 30m, same goes for 50-100m with base mag of 3.5 on the te25, which I mentioned in comments on other video.)

Great review, thanks looking for foxes at 300m so need 640 , will have to save up

No, for foxes at 300m you're better off with a 384 sensor and above a 42mm focal length so you get at least 4x base magnification. Search the importance of base magnification on our channel.

@@HuntTheNight will do, i understand need for max base magnification for long distance clarity, but bit confused re 384 sensor vs 640 sensor? Wouldn’t 640um be better?

@@rogbec01 nope, I've got a few videos on the channel showing why this isn't the case

@@HuntTheNight going through them now, fantastic reviews , very helpful. I do day whistling and so prefer a clip on , saw the HIKMicro Panther LRF PH50L , has base mag 4x , 384 sensor, like the built in laser ranger. Assume it has clip on feature , will investigate more

No the PH50 does not have a clip on option. All clip ons are 1x magnification and use your optical scopes magnification.

I wonder if attached to a normal scope would it be clear at 300m?....I've herd people say it's then a balancing act between your normal scope magnification and the thermals.......great review by the way muchly appreciated 👍
