I love how absolutely clueless Johnny still is when it comes to real coasters - not the slightest idea why the SLC is iconic. Being amazed by the Mack Mega's trains and the fact that it has both chain lift and launch (NOT a cable lift however!)... He's just a dude playing his game looking at coaster thingies. Basically the exact opposite of Silvarret, who builds custom supports if the ingame ones are not as realistic as he wants them to be :D
Watching that cable ride brought back some memories, many years ago I worked summer at a theme park, it had a cable/ski lift ride and one day a storm suddenly came in from nowhere. Two young women were trapped on the ride while they were pelted with hail and battered by intensely high winds 30 ft in the air. We got the ride back working after about half an hour but the two girls were understadably hysterical by then.
This is the best DLC so far, the mack and the schwarzkopf coasters are my favourites out of all of the new rides. I am a bit disappointed with the chair lift though as you can't have more than 2 stations. But this is totally worth the £7.99 that it costs. For further DLC's I hope they focus more on rides than scenery because we can't make the rides ourselves, when with scenery, we can use what's already in-game to make new scenery or even use the Theme Makers Toolkit (which is cheating by the way).
FrickerGaming There at a decent amount but mine is at knoebels in Pennsylvania ours is run by a old tractor motor it dosent have eagles on it but it’s the exact same type
The new track reminds me of what they’re implementing in real life at Disneyland Tokyo with their new Beauty and the Beast ride, the ride vehicle is said to move in a similar manner and will actually rotate and move to simulate dancing. By the way, can’t wait to see what you guys work on next in Candyland.
Your channel and videos are awesome, and you’ve inspired me to make my own. I want to do planet coaster soon but currently I am doing slime rancher and real life videos..
Idk if they still have it but Knoebels had a Swift Eagles ride when I was a kid and it was incredibly fun to control the rudder, and the guy that ran it always had it on max speed that was way more intense than this in-game one. Love it!
Someone actually started recreating Hersheypark, and it looks very accurate. Just search it in the Steam Workshop, and you'll find it. There are some rides that can definitely be replaced now that this DLC pack is out. Still waiting for a water park DLC pack so the Boardwalk can be recreated. :)
I actually made a shwarzkoft coaster that has a chainlift and a launch. The train slows down, launches backwards, runs out of speed, and goes forward again, like Full Throttle.
Jonny5 - The Vector coaster also has a mode where you can turn the last row of the coaster backwards. It is in the ride options under operations mode - select the radial button on for :Last row face backwards". Thought you should know that. Seems like a pretty cool option. Great vid - love the channel. Keep it up you guys!
Great Video. I'm hoping that with the Theme Toolkit doing well, PlanCo can concentrate on rides more, but still do some other things too. I want a gondola lift, but I'm pretty much pleased with whatever they add. If and when something cool gets added, that's great, but I don't stressed up over any game, even PC. My only big complaint with Planet Coaster, is that I have trouble with the controls. I'm not sure it's the game, or that it's an issue that I have personally.
Someone should do a bumber boats, using the tracker ride, have the vechlies to look like the hit each other?? Great video Johnny, keep up the great work
Just wanted to say that I saw a video by Geekism in my Recommended videos on the UA-cam homepage for this DLC, but I already knew there was a channel that covered this game that I liked better. I didn't remember your channel name off the top of my head but I knew I'd recognize it when I saw it so I purposely went out of my way to search for "magnificent rides dlc" in the YT search box so that I could find and watch *your* video covering this DLC instead. #WorthIt
O.m.g... Jonny is definitely an artist and not a professional ride engineer. Face-desk. I'm with Chant, I'll skip jonny's coasters... I kindof prefer my head.
Sorry for the late upload. As you heard at the end of the video, my power did actually go out. Had no power all day. Stormy up in Canada! :(
Channel5 Gaming I live in Pennsylvania, it can get bad too. My power went out 3 times this year so I feel you, even in the cold
That's what you get for living in North America Jonny! 😛
Oggy3000 and where do you live?

I wonder if you can put flying coaster trains on the SLC to make a Flying Dutchman
I wonder
Am I the only one impressed the skies actually swings when it goes on wheels? Because that's brilliant.

I love how y'all were just having fun building those two coasters, doing crazy "break your neck" things.
OMG Im so hyped we finally have the Mack Rides roller coaster. Thank god
It sucks that SLV doesnt have a flywheel launch like Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's Berry Farm but it's fine lol
Suspended Inverted Coaster is redundant, just call it a Vekoma SLC, what it is modeled after.
I was thinking the same thing
That eagle ride is cool in real life especially at my home park because they have a old one that goes quite fast
FrickerGaming There at a decent amount but mine is at knoebels in Pennsylvania ours is run by a old tractor motor it dosent have eagles on it but it’s the exact same type
The Knoebels one is the best! You can really catch some air in those.
Hey

Definitely need to add loading and unloading stations to the game :)
On the Mind Melt, the track and restraints are different compared to the Boa (Vekoma vs. B&M).
Your channel and videos are awesome, and you’ve inspired me to make my own. I want to do planet coaster soon but currently I am doing slime rancher and real life videos..
I instantly got that welcome back reference, scared me a bit..
the doors for the new motion track ride are amazing!
There’s one of the music rides at Kennywood in Pittsburgh PA, that’s my home park
the new launch ride is based on Mack rides that are amazing!
This is 100% one of Johnnys best videos.
Seeing the MindMelt reminds me of so many red ears I've had after exciting one of these coasters 😅 they are just so bumpy and painful IRL
Idk if they still have it but Knoebels had a Swift Eagles ride when I was a kid and it was incredibly fun to control the rudder, and the guy that ran it always had it on max speed that was way more intense than this in-game one. Love it!
That eagle ride is in Hershey park. Now I can finally build Hersheypark!
I said the same thing in my head

Jonny building the coaster was the best part of the video lol.
They have one of those at seaworld orlando( the tracker)
The Tracker reminds me of Empire of the Penguin at SeaWorld
Welcome Back! W-w-w-welcome back!
On 16:20 we call that ride a rups. That means caterpillar in dutch.
I actually made a shwarzkoft coaster that has a chainlift and a launch. The train slows down, launches backwards, runs out of speed, and goes forward again, like Full Throttle.

The track ride is the real track ride, similar to the spiderman ride, the seaworld penguin ride, and so many others, all additions are amazing
Very cool! The Tracker looks quite similar to Empire of the Penguin at SeaWorld or the upcoming Beauty and the Beast ride at Disneyland Tokyo.
Love the vid :)
And the suspended coaster is a SLC and the the one in game is a B&M
Great Video.

i wish they would begin retiring certain DLC's or making them free, like the new Quick Draw track ride
Someone should do a bumber boats, using the tracker ride, have the vechlies to look like the hit each other?? Great video Johnny, keep up the great work
So I'm assuming they fixed the performance issues that toolmaker's toolkid brought before they decided to release more paid mini DLC?
WHY does that thing have a pretzel loop?
Also, never has that outro been more fitting.
20:07 Vekoma SLC
Vekoma sucks like crap
Lex's Forehead Not anymore
People gonna do Taron Ride with the launch coaster. Its same track
The flying eagle is a ride at fun spot America in Orlando
can someone please help me. I have the pack for the chairlift but I looked everywhere and can’t seem to find it to build on the app
It's now possible to make the stations.
Johnny, you’re coaster could use a little more smoothing
i get the welcome back refrance and its one of my favrite rollercoster spotlits
Cool!
I’m gonna probably buy this
Does planet coaster work on iMac I want to get it so bad but idk if it will work
no pc is not mac compatible
You need Bootcamp.
Your local park is Kentucky Kingdom.
It's the ride from The Sandlot that they all barfed on.

Screaming eagles is at great escape theme park😄👊
You guys don’t know coasters at all. It’s painful to watch
Yeah we might not know lots about coasters, but ask us to build a custom made roof with 2k pieces I'll gladly show and teach ;)
N Singer Their content doesn’t just cater to the coaster enthusiasts
It's a game not a documentary lol
The pretzel dive is only good on flying coasters. To many gs
I thik this DLC is better than the Worlds fair Pack
Odd that a coaster with loops has only lap bars.
Not odd
I know what you mean
Music express, or rock express😛
