I never saw the show, thinking it was just another detective show, but then I hear people talking about all the weird stuff that happens in it that I've become interested. It's almost like Silent Hill, so making it into a game in that style is quite fitting.
Twin Peaks is SO much more than just a detective show, especially when you get to the more recent Season 3. Definitely something to watch if you like atmospheric, offbeat horror like Silent Hill.

Twin Peaks is my favorite all-time tv show. This is amazing.
4:09 Mizzurna Falls is a PS1 game clearly based on Twin Peaks, released during Japan's love affair with the show in the 90s. It has a free roaming town, a day night cycle and driving. An entire English translation was done a few years ago! Its an amazing lost gem!

Have you heard of the Rusty Lake games series?
It's a series of point and click puzzle games made made by a small indie studio of the same name. The games are heavily inspired by twin peaks and are actually pretty good. You should give them a try someday.

It's not exactly the same, but the PS1 game Mizurna Falls has a similar feel to Twin Peaks. It might be something you enjoy while waiting for this fan game to be completed.

That’s an interesting question. I’ve seen the show many times so it’s hard for me to be sure. This game is definitely aimed at people who’ve already watched the series, but since the game starts right from the beginning, I’m guessing you could just play the game and still get a satisfying story.

It looks like a passionate effort, but it's a shame they've gone for such outdated and lifeless graphics. This would be amazing with some dynamic lighting and atmospheric effects.
