You forgot Dark! Brilliant series! Thumbs up for mentioning The OA, probably the most unique and brilliant series after TP.
One major piece of info left out was that Blake Crouch, the author of the Wayward Pines novel, wrote it as a love letter to Twin Peaks. It would have been a travesty if the show did not mirror that
Now, this is cool! Thanks for this
Never seen a quality drop off as big as the gap between series 1 and series 2 of Wayward Pines... but it was great while it lasted. loving the videos on here atm!
Right back at you mate. Your videos are genuinely superb.
@@CouncilofZoom thanks, glad you’re enjoying!
Nice work guys. I need to go and finish The Leftovers now.
What a great list, thankyou so much! I'm excited to get started.
Good list. Some relatively unknown gems here.
I'm sure most people have seen it but Lost is heavily influenced by Twin Peaks and is the main writer's favorite show of all time
The Prisoner did not retire, he quit-thats really important.
"Wayward Pines" was good until the last episode of the first season, when it turned to total crap. They had so much potential and went with such a shallow and extremely predictable turn, I was so very sad, when I understood what was happening there. Yes, show resembled Lync style, but eventually was nothing like his movies.
They should bring back Carnivale.
If only hey 😭
Great list! The OA was wierd but good.
Weird*
Pushing daisies was great, and I wish more people knew about it.
Prisoner is the series I've been trying to find 😍 thanks.
The Prisoner was absolutely brilliant
"Wayward Pines" Is great, first season was great, hated to see all the good characters die, but glad someone was finally brave enough to do it, and last couple episodes was a jackpot of suspense
You misses "Broadchurch".
Excellent LISTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
The OA. Check. I love how many of them have that white fog
Dark on Netflix, Devs on Hulu, Castle Rock on Hulu, all belong on this list.
Dark was brilliant. I did have to break out the wiki page a few times to keep track on who was who as it becomes incredibly complicated. Fantastic
Does anyone remember the mini-series version of The Prisoner they did with Ian McKellen?
Yes. Wanted to love it but it went more for imagery and lacked in story.
Good video. Needs more ninjas, though.
Every show does, to be fair.
@Vander Kaay Social Firestarter I'll never watch anything else.
you forgot the riget (1994) by lars von trier
Wild palms looks amazing
Dark,heavily influenced by Twin Peaks.
Someone please watch FRINGE
Where can you find Nowhere Man???? I remember that from the 90s!
Nowhere… unfortunately.
(It was released on DVD, but they tend to go for over $50)
Nowehwr man shall check😊
North n the xposure check
Where DARK ?
Oh fo fks sike mite - D A R K (the german Nflix phenomenon) is actually a majorly way more ingenious 2017 18 19 Twin Peaks than Twin Peaks itself: Complete utter brilliance!!! Don’t miss out on its three stunning seasons 🙏🏻
Omg what is that accent, it's so lovely
Twin Peaks was cancelled in 1991. FAIL!
