- drivencarreview... The new Toyota Prius V is a big deal... literally. Larger than the classic model in every dimension, the V is for those who like the Prius image and fuel economy, but need a larger vehicle than the classic model. Tom Voelk travels to Monterey, CA to preview the newest member of the Prii family.
Fuel economy was the primary reason why I bought mine. It had done wonders to my stress level at the pump unlike the Sequoia I used to drive!
I dont think its ugly. its rather an unoffensive design, combine that with space and efficiency, and its a great family car, I would totally get one.
jojo0827 I bought a secondhand one and I love it. Went from $200 a month to $50.
People really just wanna hate tho... IF YOU REALLY HATE THE CAR AND YOU HATE IT SO MUCH, THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP AND IGNORE THE DAMN VIDEO! I mean seriously tho, are you really gonna waste your time baggin' on something you hate? Common sense people! DAMN!
I drive the V driving 90miles a day to work I only stop at a has station once a week. Weekend I still drive my lifted jeep.
if they offered a third row here in the US, there would be no point in the Highlander hybrid except for the AWD
its like they thought, well, this prius is way too exciting, lets make one that looks like a minivan!
Some people value practicality over looks
0-60 of 10.4 seconds! I think I would lose interest while trying to reach that speed.
Well done Toyota! Keep the hybrids comming! Hopely by 2025 a 1/3 of cars on US roads will be hybrids or all electric cars!
Everything is fine other than telling regular Prius "[the] sister" instead of "[the] brother" :-)
looks very much like the mazda5 but much uglier =( i guess most people who drives the prius don't really care about looks.
outselling Camry and Corolla!?...ha...haha...hahahahaha. God I can't stand this car....
