    Great video. Really enjoy seeing the baby vs adult pics. I’ve just recently added lavender to my collection and I’m super excited to work with it. Orchid stripes coming up in about 3-5 years 😅

    We're working on the combination of lavender, anery, and sunkissed. We were planning on calling the "moonshine" before somebody came up with the name Eclipse. We don't like that name at all due to so many other species having an Eclipse morph already. We'll see what catches on more since this combo only recently came to light

      We typically say whoever made the combo first gets to name it.

    I am liking orchid. I got a nice one from Russell Southard last year, and it is also diffused, so I am breeding it to my Peach Masque Tessera when she is ready 2026 I think. Aiming for a Peach Plasma Tessera. I got my breeder as an Orchid so I can enjoy the appearance of the Orchid.
    a bit of speculation is to see how black diamond plays with Lavender.

      I'm starting an Orchid project. Though only my Orchid male & regular lavender female are ready. I have an orchid female and a lavender het SK female to be ready next year

    I have a snake that was sold to me as a lavender and he deffinately has the right colors he just also has a dark yellow-orange strip from his jaw to like the middle of his body the color also kinda connects to right behind his eyes. He also as an adult has like dark brown right next to silvery white spots around his pattern. He's got a checkered belly the checks are the dark brown not the gray color. He's got red in him for sure too in certain light the dark brown reads red in some spots. I'm just confused it seems like he's contradicting himself 😅

      Sounds like you have a ghost, not a lavender

      @SarahsSnakeShop oh okay cool that is good to know, I've been trying to select a female to breed with him if you have any cool suggestions, I would appreciate. Kinda funny too, this is the second time I've been sold a ghost (yes I know they're not all the same he was a leopard gecko) morph reptile labeled as something else, not mad tho 🤷‍♂️ love my babies.
      I appreciate you're channel btw there's such a lack of true educational content on reptiles in captivity, much appreciate the hub of info you have created.😊

    What about a red factor lavender?

      It's just not common enough to make it into the video. I couldn't get every combo or these videos would be hours long lol

    Thank you for this! I recently got a female hypo lavender and an ultramel anery male, do you think the two will be a good pair, and what can I expect them to birth?

    • @SarahsSnakeShop
      @SarahsSnakeShop  2 місяці тому

      Combining those would give you all normals unless there were some hidden recessive traits that they happen to share 😊

      @@SarahsSnakeShop thank you so much for responding, it's highly appreciated! If you don't mind me asking, what are hidden recessive traits?
