I’ve always wanted a samurai.. I honestly think the bad rap they got was because of Chrysler and the Jeep. They’re no more tippy than a jeep is, but they wanted the full market of these jeep like vehicles.. I think this is the coolest wpl ever

Been a fan of WPL for a couple of years now, stumbled upon your channel just now, the enthusiasm you had during that drive, gained you a sub!
A better ESC and a better motor would do wonders for this truck! The metal axles area a nice touch and add a tad of weight, but that truck needs electronics first :D

A high propensity to roll over they say? I owned a 1984 model tin top, lots of mods on big tires, that little bugger would go ANYWHERE! I never rolled it either 😂. Great video, brought back fond memories of camping and adventures. This truck looks awesome!

Absolutely agree it's a good starting point to get in the hobby and Start modifications there is a few things that it could be done better but it is what it is still great value.i will definitely throwing the electrics from mine and do a couple of mods

Dude, I've had a few sammis one I just did an axle flip, but the last one I stuffed a mustang motor and trans in, with a 9 &1/2 lift (body, shackles, and skyjacker) . With 12.50 35 bfg mt ko tires

I actually never got stuck in that one.. we had a big blizzard one year and the lines were down and maintenance was blocking the road ,, they were like - well, you could try going around but you might get stuck... I just laughed.. it went through like a snowmobile 🤣 .
My buddy had one on 44s that floated.

I think first upgrade a decent ESC like the hobbywing 1060.Its like every WPL fantastic Shell and a "toy like" transmission ha ha! But a must have for a Samurai fan like me !

We used to wheel in one in high school. The coolest part about the rig is that you can tip it over and it only takes you and barely two other people to get it upright..
Notice what the jeep tards do as soon as they get a rig (widen axles/stance)...

Ordered it just for the body & the leaf suspension, the rest are considered as junk. When it arrives I'm 100% change the electronics to 1060 😂. The impression i see it very similar with c34 rtr i had months ago.

The other day I watched a video on this and their car had some issues..
The rear drive shaft was out of phase..
The interior was out of place steering wheel/seats wise..
I actually rewatched yours just
to see if your seats/interior.
was All good vs theirs..
I was thinking that the slight shuddering while you were driving it could be the same with the drive shaft out of phase... Possibly 🤔
