Excellent video! Really took me back to when my grandma and later my mom used to make it back home in Ukraine. It is really one or the healthiest things for your digestive system. I miss drinking this a lot, but it's not widely available in the Philippines.

Is this in Philippines? I am planning to smuggle some of my kefir for my mom. How can you keep it alive in the summer with the increasing temperature sa Manila?

Hi! Yes, in the Philippines 😊
Warm temperature is best for the grains. They thrive within the Temperature Danger Zone (TDZ) of food :)
They can keep the grains in the fridge with milk when not in use. Replace the milk every 2 weeks at least. Cold temperature slows them down.

Hello, you said in the video that if I want to keep the grains longer I should change the milk. How often should I change it? Thanks

You can change it every 2 weeks. Or trial and error. You can observe the grains. If they start to look like ribbons, it's time to change milk :)
