YOU CAN! Come hang out inside Singeo :) I give 1:1 coaching using our student review format - You can send in a video of you singing and we provide feedback for you :)
I always like to think about singing as the most difficult instrument to learn how to use. Because part of the process of learning to sing, is not just learning how to sing, it's about unlearning the bad habits we picked up from our day to day speaking. I think it's also why learning to sing early on is much easier, its easier to unlearn a bad habit you've had for 3-4 years rather than 30-40 years. It's kind of like typing, if you're left to learn how to type without any instructions you're bound to be incredibly efficient at using two fingers and typing at half of the speed you're capable of.
Yep, they certainly can sing. I've gone to singing lessons for years, and not once have I 1. Sounded that good 2. Learned that fast. Oh well, we try our best still, it's all we can do. Your voice is a real joy to listen to, definitely keep on singing!
You’re right, she’s chosen someone who has a natural voice anyway, but she’s got some good points. I think it really depends on your teacher as it’s a matter of finding what works for you. Have tried many different teachers?
I sound very similar and I've been having lessons for only about a year, but I passed a band audition with only 4 months of classes. Sometimes we just have an affinity with the teacher, the method, or even with singing
Welp i was a natural si ge before my hor o e therapie lost my cotrol after my voice stsrdet to get deeper Just this video alone helped me so damn much Basicly i belive almost everyone csn sing beutifully but of couse there are a view exeptions Like the people who have opposite of perfect pitch they just dont hesr if they slip off and therefore csnt correct their mistakes they would not even notice they where 5 tones of 😅
I also have anxiety about being heard omg thank you for mentioning it. Also I've had a lot of different coaches over the years but you do something momst of them don't where you do positive reinforcement to build confidence - that makes a huge difference.
I have a really good mindset about learning almost anything other than singing. I feel like I’ve convinced myself that singing is something that can’t be taught, but obviously it can. Great Job, Jack! You did great!!
This was really inspiring. I used to sing and play all the time, but moved to NYC over a decade ago and never felt comfortable being willing to make mistakes and practise uninhibited knowing all the apartments around you can hear. I promptly lost my voice due to lack of practise, but this is a nice reminder that it is something I could probably get back with a little effort and relearning proper technique again. Cheers for the video, great job, Jack
I just started teaching beginner singers recently and I've always struggled to find useful cues for them. This video is very helpful!! Thank you so much. 💕💕
"What do you like about your voice?" "Um" It me 🤣💜 Thank you Lisa, and especially thank you Jac for sharing your experience and your voice. This is really encouraging. For what it's worth I'm a lifelong musician who can sing on pitch fine, but I hate the tone so it's hard to sing even by myself
Oh my, i remember i was in the school choir, but after i hit puberty i started feeling ashamed of my voice and couldn't control it, and i miss singing so much! I hope one day i can learn to use my voice again.
Dear Lisa, You are fantastic! Thank you so much for your guidance. I really wish one day I get to sit with you and learn from you. Wishing you abundance.. Much love 🤗
This is the first of your videos I've seen and I do see that it's 2 years old I'll have to look for more. I just wanted to say that Jack does have a splendid voice and I hope that there's more
You sound so beautiful omg. Both of you! It was lots of fun to sing along. A very wholesome video. To me singing is like putting my focus on what i love the most, music. There are songs that give me chills cause they're so beautiful and when i recreate that magic with my own voice i blend everything out. Or at least i try to not care what my neighbors think. My love for music is what helps me with courage
I just watched the entire video thinking only about how I wanted to HUG THIS GIRL, she's just so adorable... and actually reminds me of my sister so cute
What a great video! Love the progression of your student! But… If only I could do that. I think I’d break down crying. Wish I could find a one on one voice teacher like Lisa to work with me
that was so much fun to watch!! I'm trying to learn how to sing and I'm practicing+documenting everyday LOL I found myself wanting to sing along to this... I love taylor swift xD I think youtube is finally recommending me things I wanna watch (even though I realize now I'm a year late O_O)
How do you work with people who are tone deaf? Can ANYONE really sing? Not being facetious, I would really like your professional opinion. Also, I love your content! It is so helpful!🥰
Oh my God, what awesome teaching! Also, great job Jack, you have a really pretty voice. I told my wife that were going to start taking singing lessons together. This is a great song to start with.
You know I think that those of us who are naturally singers/vocal, as kids we are told to be quiet more often and that can make us hold trauma in our jaw (the thing that keeps us from making noise)
I'm stuck at home with COVID and I know it's not the BEST time to learn singing techniques, but--- singing actually makes me less anxious about my breathing? Because I'm focused on breathing deep enough to sing, not overanalyzing the breath itself.
As quoted by true singing coach is can the instructor sing & do they show it and does the instructor have students who can prove the teaching of the instructor!
I have such a hard time letting myself go when other people can hear me. My voice will immediately choke and then I want to die. I'm trying to learn to let that tension go so hopefully this helps me.
Do you teach with the exact same method you're teaching this person in your if you had an online student? If I asked to learn a spacific song can you get me there to perfect it?

Wishing I had a private vocal coach like Lisa! Taking talent like Jack and making them great!!!

I hope they caught whoever did that to her beautiful arm. These d@mn gangs just put their graffiti on everything.
She’s such a good teacher. Corrects your mistakes effectively and praises your successes.
I'm obsessed with the way Jac sings the word "flames" in the chorus, lower notes are so underrated
Hello pretty
I hope they caught whoever did that to her beautiful arm. These d@mn gangs just put their graffiti on everything.
Interesting- the teacher corrects the intonation by correcting the technique and not by saying it’s flat/ out of tune. What a wonderful lesson.
I hope they caught whoever did that to her beautiful arm. These d@mn gangs just put their graffiti on everything.
My neighbor loves my voice so much he threw a rock at my window to try hear better.
😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kick his ass
