Fabulous idea for factory integration! Those looking for a small amount of kick with a 10 or 12 in a truck should gobble these up. You already have the best of breed LC2i LOC built in which saves about $100 off the top. Not to mention one less device to wire up and mount. I have used the LC2i in 3 systems now with excellent results, these integrated AC LOC + Mono Amp might be the new winning path for moderate systems in late model cars. AC and CAF FTW!!! TY
greetings from finland, thanks for the metric sizes! I think every amp should have that gain maximized led so every one could set up their gains easily :D
What are your thoughts on powering a 3-way, Kappa 90CSX/20MX (2.5Ohms) with the 4.300 powering the mids and tweeters and the 2.300 powering the woofers?
Can the GTO function be used with the RCA inputs? I’m getting conflicting answers from forums, so a direct answer from a trusted source, (you), would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Cool little products from audio control. A request from a viewer... I would love to see a comparison of marine/utv/motorcycle amplifiers and your choices. Preferably amps that are water resistant/proof and of the "micro" variety.
Yes I've also used Audio Control technology since the late 80s and still use my original Epicenter to help with bass restoration. Question, what happened to amp support for both stereo and mono interfacing? Used to be able to combine outputs to power mono subs and a pair of stereo separates. Does Audio Controls newer Micro Amps support this option?
Would you recommend mounting these under the center console in an 06 Grand Prix? I plan on installing a smaller subwoofer (6.5"-8") under the dash to give a better in cabin sound without needing a huge subwoofer. And I know it's best to keep everything as close as possible, to get the best performance. Plus I want my trunk space back haha
Thanks for the great video. I just installed this amp running a Audison 10 sub in a custom sealed enclosure in an Audi S4. Removed stock sub and used that channel for the amp. Found the output was not enough to use GTO so had to run remote turn on. Also your wiring of the sub is different that is shown in the manual. They show if only using one sub speaker to use the right most + & - on the speaker out connector. I called to ask if you had to wire it like you did to bridge the amp and Audiocontrol said no wire it per the instructions. Curious why you wired yours using the outer connectors. Great amp over all very happy with the size and output.
I saw that the video skipped during the gain setting. I have a 6.1200 and have to have my gain pretty high to get full power. It's a little noisy because of that. I'm sending it a signal from a jl twk88
What would you recommend for a motorcycle install with 4 speakers up in the front fairing, basically 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Would you go with the ACM 4.300 and power the 4 speakers using 4 channel or use the ACM 2.300 and wire left and right speakers together bringing the impedance down to 2ohms and getting 150 wattsx2?
Great video again! Hey Mark is there any benefit in running these Amplifiers in series? I'm New to the car audio world so i don't know if my question makes any sense or not Lol Also man i have just a basic Alpine head unit with 2 Infinity Primus 6.5 in the rear deck lid, and the same in the front doors. If i wanted to add some power to them, which one of these Amps do you recommend....? My speakers are rated at 70 watts rms and has 3 ohm impedence on all 4 whatcha think? I have Dynamat installed around all of them too, Thanks!
Was watching the vid, and I see you used the two outside connectors for the subwoofer output, but the manual shows picking either the left or right sets for a single subwoofer. Was curious where you came up with using the outside connectors. I'm guessing it doesn't make a difference either way, but was still curious. Great vids!
Hi Mark, with GTO, what turns off the amp? I assume lack of an input signal? But what if you have music with silence between tracks or long periods of low signal volume (like in classical music.)
Bye, bye AUDISON, Hello AudioControl!! 5 years warranty!! When the wife asks "It's all factory sweet" so to avoid confrontation, Thank you AudioControl!!
I have a 2010 Acura RL with a stock Bose sound system. I'm going to add a Infinity Kappa 100.9 10" sub in a sealed box that matches the air volume of 0.75 cu. ft. I was told that to do this I need a line out converter and I was recommended the AudioControl LC2i PRO. Does the AudioControl ACM-1.300 already have the line out built-in or do I still need to purchase the AudioControl LC2i PRO with the AudioControl ACM-1.300?
Ok now we need to talk about the optional Bluetooth module for the DSP dm-810 that should have came out in April, but every month they pushed it back. Now it’s Oct. and it’s still unavailable. Whats up if u know?
Hi. I have a question I have a 99 ex I'm changing the speakers headunit and adding a sub. My question how can I wire the 6 speakers to a 4 channel amp. I have the 2 tweeters by the mirrors 2 6×5 on the doors and 2 6×9 on the rear.
So most of the time factory sound systems have 4 speakers, that means I only going to have 4 pairs of signal cables, how do I connect the amplifier for sub if I use the 4 cables in the 4 channels amp? Where do I get that extra signal for the extra amp?
Why do everyone install an amp for the sub either under the seats or in the trunk? If your amp is small enough (one of these) you could easely hide it inside the dash, for a hidden factory look. Installing it under the seats the amp could get wet/moist due to snow and water been dragged into the car at wintertime. When installing it in the trunk, the amp would show like a sore thumb. In addition to this, you don't have to run all these wires throughout the car. Just speaker wires from the amp in the dash to the sub in the trunk, and you're done! :-) Saves a lot of work as well as time used to install. The end result would look clean, even more pro, hidden and factory. Job done... :-)
Hello bro I bought brand new car and I just need to know which one is best for me like channal 1-2-4 I only put base on my car all other speaker good from Harman bass missing tell me Amp and sub woofer small and powerful taking less space
My deal goes as follows.. Audio Control ACM-4.300 -75 watts x 4 with a 2 ohm load Focal 165KRX2- two tweeters two 6.5" woffers @ 2 ohm, 100 watts rms each 2017 F150 xl reg.cab factory head unit 4.5" display SYNC -So beings my componants are 2 ohm speakers, How would I get all available power of the audio control amp’s 4 channels through the 2 focal passive crossovers( that contain only one input) out to the two woofers and the two tweeters, each as their own channel and feeding the correct signal frequency from the crossover..and or amplifier combination? can't bridge the amp to two channels or it wont handle 2 ohm speakers, right? hope that’s a some what comprehendible line of questioning at least enough to tell me what I need to know or buy to jump this shark Thanks .4jn
I hope those amplifiers are good quality because I just want on eBay to look them up and they're waxing and tax on eBay I can do a complete skar audio stereo with two 8in subs a 5 channel amp and 6 component speakers system for what they want for 1 amp
It's funny I'm a Canadian but I don't understand the centimeters thing I still go by inches cuz that's what they taught me when I started school until grade 2 or 3 that we switch to the metric system and never really stuck in my mind plus I work in construction and everybody here still use inches and feet
It depends, if you need to sum multiple channels to get a full range signal for speakers and plan to use the 4 channel or two channel version to power speakers then yes. But if you have a full range signal, then you can use the signal right into the amp. For the single channel amp you are likely using it as a subwoofer amp so you can use any signal in as long as it plays bass frequencies. Wouldn't need to sum on that channel.
It’s worth noting that their higher level inputs are only safe up to 6v which obviously you would violate if you use a factory subwoofer output. My Focus has a factory dual voice coil sub of about 100w so I would need to use two AC-LGD before inputting to this ACM-1.300. Am I following correctly?
Yeah, that's direct from the manual in the box. I see its not on their site yet, the amps officially started shipping yesterday so maybe they were waiting for that.
These little bastards are rated way under power. Installed the 4 channel and 1 channel just yesterday, had their gains set completely to minimum against some 70 watt focal speakers and 250 watt subwoofer. Detected clipping on my speakers barely above minimum gains, these things are powerful. Shouldn’t have rated them so low. I’m guessing they’re more along the lines of 100w @4ohm x4, and and the mono amp more like 500-600 @2ohm x1. I’d like to dyno these at some point.
Hello I am new to car audio so i got a question , My alternator has 70A output ,the car doesn't have any major electronics ,just an ecu, radio, lights. Is this alternator enough to do a 4 speaker, amp ,sub situation? i would use an AMP: auna 4 channel 2800 Watt max (RMS 380w) The amp has an output about 2 ohm and power draw ranges from 11-16v so i would guess that the draw is about 8A cuz there is an 10v fuse on the AMP Speakers : 4 - JVC CS-J520X 250w max (RMS 30w) Sub :JBL Car CS12 Serien 1000W (RMS 250w) i could use some help and suggestions Thanks!
Make a "Big 3 upgrade" first and a good battery. Dont worry about your alternator with the setup you got now. Dont use capacitors since they're a waste of money.

I absolutely love mini amps and Audio Control has always made top quality products. Great vid Mark!
It would be good to see them in the dyno
BigDWiz chuck em on the dyno BigD.
We might have to get you one to play with!
BigDWiz I see you strapping this to your dyno....hint hint.
Need to see this on the dyno @audicontrol
I’ve used audio control products since 1993 and they are great and here is a worthy addition to the product lineup.

I bet these would work great for bike or UTV installs as well as hidden/stealthy car installs.

SupercarSean don’t know why this doesn’t have more likes
I need this in my life. The 2.300 would be great.
greetings from finland, thanks for the metric sizes! I think every amp should have that gain maximized led so every one could set up their gains easily :D
Great timing! Perfect for my NA Miata project 😁
Can't wait to see you do a build with those amplifiers. Now I want them too.
What subwoofer pairs well with the AudioControl ACM-1.300
Those amps are pretty damn sweet!!!!!
Nice to tell the cm measurements too😁 i just hope that these amps make it to european markets
Happy Hotrod!! glovebox amp rack!

Troy McGrgeor.
Ok, now let’s pack 1,000 Watts into a palm size amp! :D that would be something!
those amps are dope! they are the size of the factory car amps, but with more power and control. cool!
Should you set the low pass filter to the middle if you’re connecting the speakers wires that went to a dedicated factory subwoofer?
If I wanted to use this to power a sub and using the factory radio, will I still need to use a "Line Out Converter"?
Did you ever find out about this question
@@BeetleJuice00 I would not. I would use the speaker level inputs, but it does require tapping into left and right (+ and _) speakers.
What are your thoughts on powering a 3-way, Kappa 90CSX/20MX (2.5Ohms) with the 4.300 powering the mids and tweeters and the 2.300 powering the woofers?
These look killer! Depending on cost I may give these a look when I start my next build...
Awesome new product!! Where were these when I was slowly building my stereo up one component at a time!!!
Good video. I will be buying a ACM-4.300. For my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. I was going to also buy the Ac-lc7i but it doesn’t look like I would need it?
Can the GTO function be used with the RCA inputs? I’m getting conflicting answers from forums, so a direct answer from a trusted source, (you), would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Small compact. Perfect for out of sight install
Where’d you get the wrapped/braided power/ground cable wire? Looks really pro and super nice.

could you review the kicker key 180.4?

Would this be great to get better sound on some good aftermarket 6x9 and 6.5 speakers ? Without overpowering them? Advice please
Good presentation. Got me interested. Next factor would be cost but in reasonable means it's a viable option
Wouldn't mounting them back to back cause heat issues? Or are these amps efficient enough to not cause heat concerns?
What AudioControl sound processor do you recommend for installation for running aftermarket mids highs subs & amplifiers with a factory head unit

Where do you find prices on these amps?
For factory/oem integration would you still want an lc7i or fix 86 or is this amp alone good enough?

Hello I am new to car audio so i got a question ,
My alternator has 70A output ,the car doesn't have any major electronics ,just an ecu, radio, lights.
Is this alternator enough to do a 4 speaker, amp ,sub situation? i would use an
AMP: auna 4 channel 2800 Watt max (RMS 380w)
The amp has an output about 2 ohm and power draw ranges from 11-16v
so i would guess that the draw is about 8A cuz there is an 10v fuse on the AMP
Speakers : 4 - JVC CS-J520X 250w max (RMS 30w)
Sub :JBL Car CS12 Serien 1000W (RMS 250w)
i could use some help and suggestions Thanks!
Make a "Big 3 upgrade" first and a good battery.
Dont worry about your alternator with the setup you got now.
Dont use capacitors since they're a waste of money.
youkorny the amp is axillary and the alternator only charges the battery so it's sequences is alternator - battery - amp
I wonder what's the purpose of that Auna amp, it has the same power as any headunit, it's not higher quality either
so will the alternator be enough to charge the battery before the amp drains it?
what inexpensive amp do you suggest @Tomáš Kuruc
Make a boombox
No prices. Hmm
With this amp you don't have to use a l2ci?
Nope, its essentially built in.
I always thought small was bad.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
whats the price for this amp?
shane mc The 4 channel is $299. Haven't found pricing on the other two yet...
Thank you allanb3222
$249 on the ACM-1.300 and $299 on the ACM-2.300
shane mc ..........I'm guessing 250-350 and up.....

Must be a "D" class. Kind of sick of D class. Powerful sure but not very nice to listen too. Maybe AC did something new.

I wonder how many tunes it would crank until the heat kills it.
Low end? You consider almost $1/watt for the mono and over $1/watt for their 4 channel low end?
