I'm proud of the sketch of hers I have on the first volume of Otoyomegatari. Meeting her went beyond my expectation: she looked very polite and her hair were tied up unlike her self-representation in the omake. :)
I dont agree cause I can draw any new character in a min or 2 or less . The secret is I'm a self taught artist so I never needed guidelines i didn't even know that was necessary . When you draw in your own way you will have your own style without needing to build one.

One time I was 8 years old and I was watching Naruto on my dad tv, then all of a sudden I felt like drawing Naruto and keep in mind I used to draw stick figures but in different proportions and poses, and this was my first time actually drawing a character. So I basically grabbed my mechanical pencil and paper with my little hands and sat in the living room, I sat in the same spot for at least 10-30 seconds just trying to remember what naruto looked like, after that I was drawing for about 15 minutes and when I was finished I got up and showed my dad, HE WAS SHOCKED, After I showed him, my dad told me that he used to draw anime and real people everyday when he used to be younger and from time to time he got better and better. From that day on I always kept drawing every single day, and getting better every single day, Listen if you know what your goal is in life chase that goal and never quit, this was a (True Story Btw)
i love this manga a lot! and seeing this drawing is done without pencil sketches in only 3 minutes or so, i feel very motivated to keep practicing until one day i have this magical skill!!! great job
I think that the English translators might need to familiarize themselves with Arabic/Muslim and Turkic names. Amir's name should be Amira, Azel Azer, Joluk Joruk etc for example.
I think by far she draws the prettiest women. Not too thin, breasts aren't insanely disproportionate. She could also get away with lots of panels without having to rely too much on dialogue too. Just character's expressions alone are more than enough most of the time.

that's the explanation of the fast pace and minimal usage of guidelines/sketching.

I just practiced then I could draw fast now.. I could just learn on how would I do the shape of the face or eye styles..
