Awesome . Edsel did a great job . Damn , incredible stuff . I grew up Bloomfield Hills - Detroit . ME degree MSU . Cars , my life . Never saw this thing . I would think I would have driven to traverse city in this car to ski ⛷️ at Boyne mountain . It's been so long. . Whatever , the trips from Detroit to Traverse City in the 70's , to snow ski , is what I did Never drove in this car . A blast from the past ... Thanks so much . Now , I'll continue what I missed . 😋
The tail-lights are 'arrowhead' shaped. Facing in the opposite direction of the intended turn. So if you following this car and not paying attention you might mistake a 'right' turn for a 'left' and vice-versa!
Not only was the infamous Vagina grille universally ridiculed but the taillight setup on the wagons was backward with the turn signals pointing opposite of the intended turn direction
Dad had a 59 Squire and very similar. Amazing that fake wood is still there. The Squire's fake wood started going bad after 4 years. The rear on this car blows me away. Very space age rocket look. So much of this car is original! It hasn't been overly restored.
To some, the car was ugly. To me, it was different. It was big and heavy as all cars were in the 50's, but looked nothing like other cars. I wish l could afford to buy one of these and own a piece of American motoring history.
Given the extreme rarity of these, coupled with my own abiding love for them, I am very curious as to what price this Edsel Bermuda sold for. (Another reason for my interest in it stems from the relative propinquity of my hometown to the dealership in question! Lol)
all manufacturers were introducing tons of new features and gimmicks every year. The Edsel had a lot of competition as it is, and then it was grossly over marketed. If you tell folks it's a car like they've never seen before, and then when they see it it's a Ford with a different grille and some extra trim.. at 20% extra cost.. they'll walk away from it..
Awesome rare wagon,very cool
So beautiful!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

I bet that went for big bucks.
Nice looking car.

Why would a 4 door have a split-back front seat like a 2 door?
To confuse you

Coral pink wouldn't be my choice of color.
