I agree with everyone else about the logo’s. I had watched this video a couple of times and was watching just prior to placing an order and happened to notice all the logos this time. I’m going to hold off ordering hoping it can be purchased in the future without as much branding on it.
The topper has 12 Branding logos. Seriously, loose some of those logos on all of your toppers and save your company money and go marketing some where else. Provide a cleaner looking product for the consumer.
Great color and truly appropriate the streamlined shape. Color Matches almost perfectly with Hondas Sonic Gray. Are the logos removable? The Flated cube is ok but I ,and I'm sure a vast majority, would appreciate a choice with no Wording/logos.
Two questions and pardon me if they’ve been covered. 1.) Can you run a Flated topper with your tonneau rail system installed (tonneau removed, BAK Revolver). And 2.) How is camping in a Flated topper in the heat? Seen folks do videos about the cold but nothing about heat. Seems like it might get toasty. Thanks!
I like that flush top as I’m trying to find something to use for my Colorado to carry a canoe. My canoe is roughly 80 pounds. Obviously some of the weight would be on top of the truck cab but is there a weight limit on the truck cap? There are tie down hooks so I know items can be placed on top. But a rough idea of the weight that could be supported would help me finalize my decision. Thanks, Andy
Hi Andy, the Air-Topper can support 200+ pounds but suggest you check the weight limit of your trucks roof. If you look through our videos we've had two 80lbs kayaks, four 35lbs SUP's, and much more up there. Thanks, Team FLATED.
I am still wondering if water will leak in between the topper and the truck sides. Would much appraciate it to see a video regarding that matter. Thank you.
4 logos on the sides is kind of insane. Please take it off the side windows. Also, have you considered a zipper or some other option for improving the the open/close of the back?
We have screens on the inside to keep the bugs out. Also if the windows were on the inside, it would create a ledge that would collect snow and moisture. Thanks for asking though.
@@papillon5537 we always tell people to put valuables in the cab or under the Air-Deck® for the best security. These days the cab of your truck is not secure with all of the black market tech that criminals are using to steal cars and trucks.
When I do the math for a 2nd gen tacoma 6foot bed height(19.1) and reference your site it says 23" for height on the topper, it only goes to 36 inches on the interior for height. How are you getting 40" for height?
Fair Critique, We actually didnt have any window logos on our first edition toppers, but then added them mainly for internal Organization as they say what side window it is and for what size Topper. I'm testing now to see how easy it is the Strip them off with goof off.
@@FLATED have you completed testing on that yet? I would really like to pull the trigger on the one in my cart, but I'm not going to be a billboard for someone I spent a good amount of money with just to do some marketing for you.

I hope the company is reading this reply. I have the money burning a hole in my pocket, but I'm reluctant to buy because of the myriad logos.
Im buying one, pairing this with the deckd drawer system

My first thought was there is WAY too much branding on it.
Honestly not sure. We will test a few things out this week in the shop. Maybe a goof off style chemical. We will do a test and report back.
Have you had a chance to test a few things to remove all the branding? Can I order one without all the logos?@@FLATED
@@FLATED Wondering if this was ever tested / what was found as far as removing the logos?

The Air-Topper works with some Tonneau covers and has a R2-ish insulation factor so keeps the inside slightly cool.
@@FLATEDyeah i had that question i just bought a tonneau rolling truck cover but i bet if its rolled out the cover would fit over it.
This is awesome! Biggest issue I have with mine was not being able to get it in my garage.

Have you added the rain flaps on the original topper too?
I am still wondering if water will leak in between the topper and the truck sides. Would much appraciate it to see a video regarding that matter. Thank you.
This new design with the rain skirt is very dry. We will work on a proper video to demonstrate that.
Is this available for the ridgeline?

The back window does have zippers to open and close and we will put the less logos in the comment box as we work on future generations.
@@FLATEDwith the Tacoma short bed topper, do you make any sort of extension to use so we can sleep with tailgate down? Thx.
Why only a 5 foot box option for fullsize GM products? Where is the standard bed size for extended cab trucks?
We are waiting for wider material to make them for the 6.5's. Early next year we will have them.
Checked your website for the F150 size cap but only see small truck size at the bottom.
Thanks for the heads up, I will add it to the drop down menu now.

How ‘s the fit on a first gen Tacoma? Can we come by to test fit before purchase?
Where do live? We could test fit in Ca, Co, or Mt
Can the rain skirt be incorporated to the original higher cap?
This will be standard on all of our models going forward.
Perfect! Thank you.
So the skirt cannot be incorporated with the older models?
Sized to fit late model (2023) Super Duty standard bed (6' 9")?
We have that size coming out in February. Currently we only have the 5.5 bed on the CAP.
Super Duty not available in a 5.5 bed.@@FLATED
@@FLATED is it available in 6.9 bed yet? I still do not see it - only the 6.5 bed on your site.
Are these compatible with a bedrack?
The Air-Topper CAP works great with Trukd racks.
It does not appear that the "rain flap' is wrapping around the front corners.
Hello. It's actually not designed to wrap around the outside of the corners. It's about making it fit tight to the top of the corners.
Can this work with a retrax tonneau cover if I roll it back all the way open?
Usually yes if you have the flush mount rails.
Why would you not put the windows inside. ?
We have screens on the inside to keep the bugs out. Also if the windows were on the inside, it would create a ledge that would collect snow and moisture. Thanks for asking though.
@GETFLATED just figured if you were asleep and it started raining it suck to have to get out and put the windows in
how about safety? anyone can break into the bed?
