Thank you. This was a special trip to one of my favorite places. I would have never guessed that something so devastating could have occurred just a couple days after leaving Black Mountain. You'll get it after a few times. Make sure you pump all of the air out and do your folds where it naturally wants to go.

@@jeffhoganson6370 yes, same process to laminate to the side flaps but will void the warranty if you do.

@@FLATED hmm any warrantee approved way to do it?

@@FLATED a small 3 inch vinyl/rubber patch to stop water ingress at the bottom corner of the topper where the side flap that drapes over the truck bed meets with the flap that covers the back plastic window.

@@jeffhoganson6370 It would be ideal to attach to the window flap becuase the window is easily replaced. If it has to go on the topper structure that is where you will run into a warranty issue. We have not seen any water ingress on those back corners since we added those back flaps, can you send us a photo at info@flated.com?

@@DJStroble you can use anything as long as it’s not touching the inner sides of the Air-Topper®.

@@ryanfox1748 All of the newer Air-Topper®’s come with PPF to apply on the tailgate to protect the paint.

@@DJStroble we have that as well, we named it the Air-Carrier® Sport.

@@papillon5537 we always tell people to put valuables in the cab or under the Air-Deck® for the best security. These days the cab of your truck is not secure with all of the black market tech that criminals are using to steal cars and trucks.

@@AboutAwesome did you use the deflate mode on the pump to get all of the air out of each chamber?

Sorry but we do not make them in black just the dark grey. We suggest getting a tailgate break light if you plan to have the Air-Topper® on for a long period of time. There are many third party tailgate break lights that are easy to install. Thanks for reaching out.

The Air-Topper® is now on Gen 5 with the addition of a rain flap that goes around the bottom edge of the canopy. The addition of the rain flap and improvements on the back window makes it extremely water tight.

The FLATED Air-Carrier® gets all of the junk out of your trunk and puts it on your rooftop.

Hi Mark, you must have ordered the CAP rather than the Mid-Rise. The CAP (2x chambers), sits flush with the cab of your truck and the Mid-Rise has bump up (4x chambers). All of current inventory that we've been shipping for the past 2 months is the current generation so thats the only thing that makes sense. I hope you like it if but you had your heart set on the Mid-Rise please reach out to our customer service at flated.com.

Mine only has 2 as well. Just delivered today. I thought mine was the 4th Gen as well. I have the lower one not the taller one. Maybe that is still just 2?

That is correct about the low profile CAP version, it only has 2 chambers. The Mid-Rise has 4 Chambers and has a little more headroom.
