      Thinkin of getting a streetfighter s as well , i had the chance recently too ride a panagali v4 but had too pass it up because of arm pump issues, only problem with the monster is the clutch is heavy and my left arm gave in after an hour in peak hour traffic too get too the dealership when mine went too its service

      Sold mine in the end, but have been trying to find another ever since, in my top 5 favourite bikes of all time!

      @@ryaneastough4117 I almost bought a 1098 Street Fighter a few weeks ago, but I think it may be a bit small for me as I'm 185cm and 94kg. The stiff clutch on the Monster can be solved easy by installing an Oberon slave cylinder :)

    I like the bar end mirrors too, I put them on my k6 1200 bandit that was like yours in another video.
    I bought the cheap Chinese aluminium mirrors but ditched the crappy rubber bungs as you never get them tight enough, I always use 8mm Rawl bolts about a quid each and it holds proper and solid.

    Thats a nice bike! The monster is one of the few naked bikes i enjoy.
    Off topic but would try a Suzuki Hayabusa or B-King? For me its one of those bikes that i don't really care about owning but i wanna try one at some point

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  4 роки тому +2

      I have been trying to get hold of the B-King for a long time, but they seem to hold their value REALLY well! and are still quite expensive for what they are? a decent One is around £6000 on a 2006/7 plate, which seems a lot of money. But hopefully I will get to review One soon :)

    Am looking at getting this exact year and model do you still like the bike? Still think it's as amazing as you made out? Hoping to do the deal today 🙂🙂🙂

      It's still in my top 5 bikes Steve, so much fun! and more power than you need, be aware of servicing costs though, and make sure it's had a Desmo service if over 5 years old or more than 15k miles (18k for the DVT) as that can add another £1200 to your purchase! good luck 😁

    Love the way u review bikes and the content you put on your channel! I was expecting a little bit more info. Comparing this monster with your speed triple though. I’m looking forward to get one of those two bikes in next few months but can’t decide which one is the best/fun bike or which one suits me better.

      Thanks for the kind words :)
      I was kind of comparing the way the Triple and the Monster look more than anything else, they are both so good looking! and both give a huge amount of pleasure to own.

    Would you pick this over a 765rs ?

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  4 роки тому +2

      Everyday! but then I haven't riden the 765 yet, very light bikes with great power, but at 185cm I imagine bit small for me. Really want to try the 1050rs too :)

    Love this. Sat on a hypermotard next to a monster today - my eye did wander... totally get the bit about the oil cooler at the front of the bike, probably why I never fancied one before. How did you get on with the size (obviously you get on fine) was interested when you said about you thought they looked small on the internet 🤙🏻

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  4 роки тому +1

      To be honest it's a big bike, but with a low seating position, almost like a cruiser, the size of the tank means your legs are slit apart and makes you feel like your on a Monster (get it) it really feels like a bike bike, even if it doesn't always look like One

    Oh how I laughed when you said a bit of vibration from a 'big V-twin'..... try riding a few Harleys mate..... good review though - might buy Ducati as a second, sorry third bike to play with after my Harleys.....

Ridden a few UJM's but never wanted to own such a soul-less boring bike ! each to their own. No not found the right Multi yet, I actually put a deal together for a 2015 model a few weeks ago, but the seller messed me about so much I backed out, and am still looking. Decided I want a the newer model though as it has the better dash set up, the older Ones had some real issue with the dash and many had to be recalled for replacements, so the search continues :)

    Hmm thanks for this, friend. Late in the day but this vlog may have p,anted a seed of mischievousness...! I have had license for not too long but I'm an old short b#stard that can insure most stuff( as long as I can sit on the thing!) And fancy something other than the "latest naked". There is a cheeky natty little price on a rather nice 1200s at my local dealer. Looks stunning, I sat on it with ease and moving it around didn't feel like I was trying to roger the local bbw milf(Google it!), so I've just hit yootoob to see what folk have to say. Think I might take a punt after reading your wisely words. Thank you kindly, friend. Ooh, ps, wot you running now, mate?

      Hey George, you wont regret getting One of these, they are just soooo much fun, and unique too, so everyone tends to look back when you pass. I don't have anything at the minute, but am trying to get a Yamaha MT10 or perhaps a KTM 1290 but I'm not a Young guy either, so trying to be a bit sensible these day ;)

    • @georgezuss2925
      @georgezuss2925 4 роки тому

      @@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes what the fudgecake, friend, you'll have plenty of time to be sensible when you're pushing up the daisies, chap! MT10 seems I between 2 worlds to me...not as quick as an R1; sort of a chubby MT09. All damn fine machines but the 10 just doesn't seem to light the candle. What about the Tuono, chap, that and the Brutal seem to raise pulses and melt womens knickers? Or, feck it, why not go the whole hog and get an H2 naked......that'll have you howling and grinning like a nut-house inmate whilst soiling your pants but an old fart like me, you can just blame it on your Tena pants and waddle off into the sunset?! Now...The Katy 1290, now you are talking but I get the impression that is strictly for head-bangers that are fed via a catapult. Raving mad but wow do they look good. You have my envy, friend.....I'd need stabilisers to be on most of that fine throng. Good hunting, bloke, don't be shy to let us peek at your new RS Hooligan, eh, mate 😉

    • @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes
      @Budget-Cars-And-Bikes  4 роки тому +1

      @@georgezuss2925 TBH I am toying with the idea of a 2018 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 RS now, as you can see from my video's I do love my Trumps, and the RS has all the power I need at 150bhp, plus I know those bikes well. As for the KTM or Aprilia, beautiful to be sure, but closest service centre to me is 400 Miles round trip, and both of those bikes have some pretty horrific reliability stories behind them :( The MT10 I think is going to be too much like any in-line 4 I think for my tastes, I love a V-Twin or Triple, so either the Speedy RS - or perhaps a 1200s Multistrada? I may even end up getting another Monster 1200! I really miss it, and I haven't had anything else yet that comes close to the grin factor that gave me :)
