Good to see your purges Bill, thanks for sharing. Music Magpie are a good on line seller, and ship quickly.. bought many CDs , Vinyl and dvds from them over the years. All the best Rob.
Rob - Great to hear from you! I hope you’re keeping well. Yes I was quite impressed by Music Magpie - especially for CDs (although I see they also do Vinyl). Thanks for taking the time to comment. Cheers Bill
Well done on the purging Bill, a good start...I've added the Phillip Glass to my Spotify playlist. I'm after 'Cloud Nine' and the Al Green album but have never found nice copies. Cheers Dale
Hi Dale - thanks for watching. I hope that you enjoy Philip Glass. I love the Temptations and the Al Green is truly soulful. Both albums are of course re-issues. I can’t believe that I am putting this in black and white, but even as a Scotsman I hope England win on Sunday evening. Cheers Bill
Pink Anderson is that Pink. I just found your channel enjoy it very much. I'd have to be separated from a good portion of my little collection before I would let any of my Billy Gibbons go.
Hi - thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Thanks for Confirming my belief that Pink Anderson was the inspiration for 1/2 of Pink Floyd’s name. Apologies for any offence by my ditching the Billy F Gibbons record. I’m sure that you enjoy every record in your modest collection. Cheers Bill
Hey Bill! The Stones are always a good buy. Cloud 9 is a brilliant album too, but I’ve only got it on CD. Not heard that Al Green, but love his voice, it’s so smooth. Loads of great buys. I keep hearing people talking about the English Teacher album… going to have a listen on Spotify tomorrow. Great that you found something in Sound & Vision, I never do and generally find it really overpriced. I’m just by the sea in Lossie. I’m going to the record fair tomorrow in Elgin so hoping I might see something there. Cheers, Jack
Hi Jack - thanks for watching. Yes I was very happy to pick up the Stones CD. Lossiemouth is a lovely place. I had a cousin who lived there years ago. I hope that you had a great time crate digging in Elgin earlier. I meant to do a video on your Weekender party contest, but with Scotland’s early exit from the Euros it was a case of “No Scotland, No Party”. I was struggling to think of real party records apart from Saturday Night Fever. Cheers Bill
