Nice job. When you put the roof on , brain went saw someone do the same with corrugated roofing and it leaked down the centre. Then you bitumened it . Spot on 😊. Not leaking now
one thing about a rigid made tree house is sooner or later wind will flex the tree and damage \destroy it. i had an idea to find at least 3 preferably 4 trees the configuration and size you want, cut the tops off and use either semi tires or tractor tires and cables to build the base on, then raise the base with a pully system secure it and build the rest. this will flex with the wind and allow a lot more flexability
Aha,and if welthier client was paying for tree house build,i bet it would have 4 bedroom,3 bathroom, and a pluming. And this two guys, they don't even try to impres, not even for book of records.
Tallest tree house my butt. 60 years ago, at 11 years old me and my younger brother built a tree house 35 feet up. Used a rope to climb up. And added a "shoot shoot" as they were called then, now known as a zip line running to ground level from it. Granted this guy has nicer carpentry, but we were just kids. And the tree is still standing now.
You did a decent job of putting things together but made some really bad mistakes that will cause the failure of that place quick. I saw you painted the vertical struts with something, but it would have been better to char the parts going into the ground. That makes it long-term rot and termite-resistant. Secondly, cutting into the cambium layer (the skin) of the tree will open it up for rot pretty quick. Hopefully, some serious time applying some preservatives will be in the future. I could not see the full top of the tree in the beginning but I thought I saw several dead branches that were large. Be aware that that could mean the tree is at the end of its natural life cycle. The last and most important thing is that you left no gaps around the tree where you built things like the roof and floor. If the tree is still living it will continue to expand. Building right up to the tree edge will mean the floor or roof will buckle. I have always used tar-soaked help as a gap filler. This can flex and compress quite a bit.
He could have not cleared the bark off and just used wood bolts and the bark would have healed around the bolts that hold the stairs on.
Mais cet arbre est mort...
This tree is dead ....
It is now 😦
Seriously
Why bother starting with a healthy tree if you're going to kill it?
@@wetsox278 Cuz a dead tree would be on the ground

With the tools hes using, i would say he is a professional tree house builder and knows what hes doing.
The tree is fine
I understand you, but it was an old dry tree. Look 0:45
Its more crafty to use the wrap on the other side of the studs ❤
That was a whole lot of time and money to waste? You could have built a mini cabin that would last? You do awesome work! Good stuff!
God bless you bro

Beautiful and very interesting
Nota 1000
What r u gonna do when the tree starts decaying? How will u hold up ur beautiful tree house?

I always turn the sound off because it feels like I'm on hold while watching these videos.
An awful lot of work for something that will be rotten and unsafe in a few years.

Not with that metal roof, it will around longer than you

There use to be a TV show about a guy who built tree houses they where alot taller and bigger...
Good Job👍🏼
The walls outside and inside are so thin. Even with the thin insulation, it's going to be very cold. The cabin won't last long,
Is the tree still alive after the clip?
Looks good but how long will it be structurally safe? Im sure yall get snow in the winter then eh bud
You did all that work on the stairs but didn't show us how it tied to the main floor... How/where do you get IN to the treehouse??
Good job look nice
Hey and I think that's pretty badass what you did that's a really cool tree for and I'm sure that tree will definitely get over it
Whoever does your subtitles needs to be replaced.
What, you want them to just say what’s being done instead of how each basic step contributes to the glorious revolution?
That tree doesn’t like being chopped and screwed and nailed into. Probably gunna spit you off…. 😂 😅 😮
Not the same place on the thumbnail...Disappointing! But still interesting.
Looks cool but i wouldn't step on it.
Aucun respect pour les arbres

This would have been 100% better without the music
When the tree rots, the house collapses!
