To go off what i said in live chat. That animation of Superman Boxing was from a comic story. A powerful being took Superman to a fighting match and also took Muhammad Ali. He took away supermans powers to fight Muhammad man to man and Superman lost.
That’s definitely one I’ll have to get my hands on and read.

I read the book, Ali fights a human superman at the end of the book superman tells Ali that it was all a planned fight and that superman had to lose cause otherwise the humans would die.
Superman overheard and made sure to lose and when Ali found out he told superman rhat they really are the world's greatest. The both walk out together laughing about it.
Love the character development that has come from all three fights. We went from Goku annoying Superman to the two of them being beat buddies
Now Goku and train to get stronger and Superman has someone he can go all out on and they dont have to worry about damages cause they can wish it all back

I like how much wiz and boomstick understate how much of a power difference there is in strength in order to make goku fanboys feel better, with absurd numbers like vigintillion, and novemdecillion superman should realistically be able to kill goku by simply flexing his pinky finger without even touching him. Speed would not matter at all.

I will never understand those who fanboy their character even when they win. In this case I like both characters, in others I happen to prefer one but I certainly won't say these things

And while the lizard brain in me does enjoy Goku VS Superman 3, it does massively overestimate Goku. The notion that Goku could match Superman's speed is particularly egregious.
1) The best argument they have for Goku's speed being "immeasurable" is him holding off Merged Timeline Zamasu. Except he was fighting with all the other Z-fighters, they were still clearly being overwhelmed, and it is very much in Zamasu's character to toy with an opponent when he has the advantage, so it's very likely he wasn't even taking them seriously.
2) We know Superman is capable of Infinite Speed. But the nature of infinity is binary, not incremental. Either something is infinite or it is not infinite, aka finite. There is no option in-between. So if Goku's speed isn't infinite, by definition it is finite. And the difference between infinity and any finite number is infinity. Which means Superman is ♾️x faster than Goku. Now, I could believe that UI and Instant Transmission could allow Goku to keep up with someone 10x, 100x, maybe even 1000x faster. But ♾️x faster? Even if Goku reacts instantly his body still has to move fast enough to respond, and against a speed gap that insane there's nothing he can do.
3) Even if UI and Instant Transmission were fast enough, guess what? SUPERMAN HAS THOSE EXACT SAME ABILITIES NOW. Superman can now teleport across spacetime, and his Theta State does the exact same thing as UI. This basically negates whatever advantage UI and Instant Transmission could've given Goku. Which means we're back to square one comparing raw speed. Goku went through all that training just for Superman to look at the camera and say "look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power!"
ur reactions are still really fun but it's just generally so obnoxious when people devolve into insisting that "using this or that too early" means you can predict the rest of the fight, because it's always something that there are dozens of examples against too
would be nice to see less of that from all reactors, but you guys are still entertaining to follow
Supes wasn't breaking dimensions, btw, he was doing the thing the analysis mentioned about Brainiac. Hitting Goku so hard that every other version felt it, so we see that all kinds of other Supermen and Gokus are also fighting

only an idiot would randomly insult people. I also think that Superman dominates more than anything because the comics are simply ridiculous (lifting infinity or being faster than infinity) but I certainly don't call anyone an idiot, plus death battles are fun as they are and especially this one highlights that it doesn't matter who wins, Goku just likes having a strong opponent to keep trying to overcome

There is no one there for Goku to lock onto for the move.. That's how Instant Transmission works. Goku is looking for a person's KI when he's doing it. If Supes had sat there.. Sure Goku could pop in. Wouldn't have mattered anyway as Superman is already strong enough to erase Goku. Death Battle also does things to make the battle look cool. Nobody wants to see a one hit fight. 😊
